Smoke rubber with the Easy Vape

I was vaping tonight out of a water pipe using the Easy Vape and suddenly got a rush of thick almost yellow smoke into my lungs. You might can imagine an experience like that... Looked down to find melted rubber probably used to secure the glass surrounding the heating element along with what looked like glue to keep the rubber in place. I've always heard how unclean these plastic vapes were, but I got the impression from vaporgiant that it might of been a decent starter vape... had no idea it was that bad... :o I don't even want to think about fumes I might of been inhaling over the past months. I've never heard of this happening before. I felt it would be a good idea to state this somewhere for the potential of smoking rubber at any minute.

I had a similar first vape as an easy vape, and i can tell you to stay away from box\whip vapes. they are inconvenient and no good!

you've got to check out the myrtlezap. its made of solid myrtlewood and will pay for itself in all the herb it saves, its the best design!

That kind of general statement about box/whip vapes is totally false.

If you personally don't like them, than that's a personal opinion, but to state that all box/whip vapes are inconvenient and no good, as fact, is just not true.

Now if you said that these cheap Chinese knock-offs have a reputation of being really problematic, then I would agree with that statement but vapes like the VaporBros or the VaporCannon by Vaporwarez are excellent box/whip vapes.

Also, the statement that the Myrtlezap is the "best" designed vape is also totally false. There is no ONE "best" designed vape.

i just find the wait for it to heat up, the constantly moving the herbs around, the lack of portability, the whip cleaning, the whip in general is cumbersome and it doesnt seem to encourage vaping much for me! of course im not an encyclopedia, its just me talking my mind!

Wow and you advise a myrtle zap to a guy who says that inhalation of dangerouse things is no good....well melted rubber and brass parts (with god knows how much PB in it) are on the same level as each other.

You're probably the only one on this forum with that opinion. Stop plugging that crappy PD clone in every damned post. It gets annoying.


I've used the Easy Vape once. I brought my Warez over my friends house who owns an Extreme. Another kid brought the Easy Vape. We ended up just using the Warez for thick hits and the Extreme for bags. The Easy Vape was inconsistent with its heat(burnt the bowl twice) and the bowl on it is HUGE. Way too big for a Vape. It was the equivalent of three VaporWarez bowls, so we decided not to waste any more herb on it. Glad we did. I always knew that thing was cheap.


Now I just bring my Genie over his house. Much easier to pass when in front of the TV when we don't feel like bringing the Extreme downstairs, waiting for it to heat up, etc.

Ya know, this got me thinkin' that a fully loaded Iolite may be the best vape for situations like that one above. Load it up with the best med grade weed you can find, let it go thru a cycle or two, and then pass that puppy around. As easy as pie. No lighters to have to worry about. No whips or electrical cords to trip over. No huge bags to pass around.

A clone is a copy. The PD is an improvement. All RoHS compliant parts, not just the resistor and solder, and the PD's heat exchanger fins provide more surface area and therefore it holds temp better. And the Eterra was the original design, so who's copying who?

As for the smoking Easy Vape, while it wouldn't be my choice for a box vape, I've never heard of this happening either. And I've seen quite a few people satisfied with this model. So I'd have to attribute the problem to a defective vape rather than a defective design.
