Hmm... He didn't send me that. I got the Nova and a Thor Beta (box mod powered Portable enail.). I guess I'll have to buy a mod. I have the W9tech 8 Mech and a variable Voltage power supply for it.

Ok, I am intrigued. I have an istick50 and have been looking for a dry herb atty to go on it to compliment a wax atty....tell me why I should buy this vs say the Vhit King... I tend to look a lot and try to research things before I commit to a purchase so I'd love to hear more about this atty.

If your devices dosent do VW you can also do the math. http://www.csgnetwork.com/ohmslaw2.html

Nero tech sub ohm heating element (0.5 - 0.6 ohms)

W = V2 / R

4 volt at .5 ohm res would be 32 watts

Do you have a multi meter ? check the exact res on the tank.... Your device may do that too?

also are you sure you device dosen't switch to showing wattage? most do now... I want to see what he sent you,, sounds interesting

@Detonator He did not send the mod I'm using. It is "The Core" from W9 tech powering their "8" mech mod. I have a meter and am familiar with the math of Ohm's Law. I just needed a starting point (looks like 4v) . I'm not sure the wattage though. I need to buy a VV/VW mod.

If you wan't to vaporize get this. I watched a usage clip of the King and it was combustion city, So there is that. The fact that one's a Vaporizer tank and one is a combustion tank make's the choice easy.

Hey PPN,

Sorry man, on my last PM to you I told you I was out sick with the flu and that I was gonna send yours with the new batch of heating elements. Since you are overseas I wanted to send once and not two separate time cause of shipping cost. I got back into the office like on Tuesday and had it shipped out. I really apologize for the delay.

On the china side, my factory still dont require any moq from me since we are friends. But they are taking their time with making my stuff since the market for ecig had slow down a lot in the USA (They make more money selling those balancing scooter shit). That is also another why I am taking so long.

Hi guys, I recieved yesterday my Boom Nova atty, I will post a full review with pics soon but I would to give you my first impressions.

I paired it with my sub-ohm battery I use to drive my Divine Tribes attys (donut and double ceramic coil), I set it at 4.75v and load the bowl, after very long pull I can get little taste and very thin clouds, after a 10mn session like that abv was still green...so I pushed my battery a bit more and fryed my first atty at 6.5v without a lot of results.

And I remenber I get an unusued thermovape battery tube at 6v and 30W (with 2x3v battery), i paired the atty with this mechanichal mod and got nice and thick vapor after a 6-8s draw, nothing to be worry about, it's easy to use (only on/off) and after 2 bowls my atty is still working, great!

Although I'm not really convinced about taste, not bad but very neutral, can't really taste strains differences...and I think the bowl need to be redesigned to keep the load on the center where the heat is.

I'll post a coil pic cause I never saw a coil like that before(maybe a sort of FlashVape coil!), trully innovative imo, but I would like to know what is made of the atty...Boom?

Ok, here my review without pics (I can't find the cable to plug my phone):

I received the atty in a box with 3 coils, 3 bowls and a replacement glass tube, as promised Boom added a 5 pack of replacements coils. No instructions.

First I tried it on my sub-ohm battery and it was drained really fast without any true results. l charged it fully and tried again with very poor results at 4.75 and even at 6v (very long draw for very thin clouds, airflow holes blocked), I thought I fried my attys, abv was still green after maybe 10 long pulls although I taste my weed and get a bit medicated.

And I paired it with my Thermovape tube at 6v and it was another story, a 6s draw give you taste and small clouds, 10s draw give you thick clouds, this is a very nice match and I enjoy this atty a lot with this setup, anyway I can't compare taste to the ESV imo, I enjoy my weed but I think taste is polluted cause small bits of the load are falling through the screen in the atty..and combust....although I think this issue will be resolved easily using a finer screen. My problem is the battery longlife, with my old Tenergy's I can only get 1 nice session.

I think it works better with a large load(I add a screen on the top of my load to prevent too much build up on the mouthpiece screen) but l need to experiment again, the atty is very original cause it's a sort of large ceramic donut which keep in place a sort of metal sheet, this sheet turn hot red in 0.01s, that's why I compared it to a flashvape.

I think it's very difficult to combust the load (with my setup at least), abv comes out light on color (sign of true convection) and, to be honnest, I like this device but I'm a bit worry about the coil, I'm afraid the metal sheet is emiting unhealthy fumes while heating...I think Boom must to inform us about the components.

I want to notice also that I'm still using my first coil after maybe 5 sessions...

I will post soon pics of my different setup and pic of the atty itself.

What sup guys,

So we are working on a second style coil that can be purchase separately if you have a nova already or it will be included in the new batch of novas....

The new coil base will be like how the elevate SV does their coil....it will be able to screw into the current novas and give you a stove top like design. For people that like to build their own coils this can also be use for that purpose.

I've been following this for a while now and the new coil design has me even more interested. I'm familiar with the elevape sv coil design and think you may have a winner with it.
When do you expect to have the new tank/coil available?
Also, in looking over your website is the Cloupor GT 80 the best Mod to use with the nova tank? Is it the same width to fit the nova tank diameter? It use's two 18650's ? Can you provide the size on the Cloupor mod?

Thanks and good luck.

What sup,

The new coils should be coming in 2-3 weeks. Once I have it I am planning to just include that with every set I sale.

I use the cloupor mod because its the newest one out that I have. I can use other mods but I feel like older mods use older generation chips which fire/engage the diameter differently.

Cloupor GT Specs:
Dimensions:94mm x 53mmx 22mm
Net Weight:99g
Material: 6061 billet aluminum
Floating 510 pins
Take 2 x 18650 batteries
Magnets back cover
Work mode: VV/VW/TC
Output power: 1-80W
Output voltage:0.5-7.0V
Joule power:10-80J
Standard Resistance:0.1-3.5ohms
Joules Resistance: 0.1-3.0ohms
Temp Limit: 200-600 Fareheit & 100-300 Celsius
Reverse battery protection
Smart-auto temperature control:
Cloupor GT will recommend a proper joule automatically according to the current Fahrenheit.
To adjust joule manually , please hold the fire and up button simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Hey Boom thank you for sending the new coils , they arrived safe. I just ordered the ipv d2 by pioneer4you to test them with. Been using the Kanger Sub Box with nice results so far but have combusted a bit , i think it may have been my own fault for holding the power to long. I am gonna give these new coils a test shortly and try a few different methods. I am really liking the quality of the Nova so far , it seems to be built well .

Thanks for the quick response.
In what mode to you use with the Nova tank?
Volts, watts or temp?
Would a Kangertech subox work with the Nova tank? I think I can only adjust and use it by the wattage adjustment.

Yes I can confirm the Kanger Subbox works great with the Nova , I'd say start at 30w's with closed airflow on the Nova tank as a start.

Hi, my first coil die after 6 or 7 sessions and second is still working well!

Really interested by the new coil, good work Boom, nice you are improving your vape!
is it better about durability, taste...or both?

Here the promised pics:

and the bowl (screwed on the atty):

This vape is really similar to the Thermovape vaporizers, with my setup I need to prime the load with a long, long draw, clouds are here when everything is hot but wasn't able to combust at all using 6v max.

My favourite setup is Nova +Thermovape tube (6v), the autoshutoff of the Clover OverlordII (which is my main battery for my Divine tribe attys) is a PIA here and I get a small 3.7v sub-ohm battery (is nice for one session if fully charged). I noticed the Nova drain lot of powers, it kill 2x3v batteries in 6-8 hits, the small sub-ohm dosn't last long also and the big Clover Overlord is a bit better but not so much...
I'm awaiting another device to handle this atty...

OK since I got my new coils I have used the tank again but only at 35W So far after about 3-4 bowls its seems to still be working..

At 35W I get no visible vapor but lots of flavor and it will get me "medicated" ... But I don't really see vapor like I would with my other portable..

So what I do get is medicated but without clouds.... It is very stealthy in that way. I vape e-cig so much people don't realize I switched tanks to cannabis..

I 'm still testing.

Here a pic of my actual favourite setup:
pTHryd9.jpg

This setup offer a great taste and clouds (not really thicks, as my MV on the 2 lower settings), this vape get a true signature also, it medicates me very hard and abv comes out evenly on the yellow side.

I added a screen on the top of my load.

I tried with and without stirring, stirring give you biggest clouds at the end (I do it only one time per bowl) but without stirring give you quasi the same abv (a bit lighter in color witha small darker spot on the middle) but less clouds at the session's end.

My only issue is the battery longlife in my setup, 1 session and batteries are over! I really need something better...although this setup seems to gave me more satisfying hits than others testers (after reading feedbacks), maybe a mechanical mod is better for this atty....

I was suspicious about this atty but I'm convinced this vape could be very good, it reminds me the T1 from Thermovape with the same qualities and the same issues!

This atty is bigger than my battery. Also, it works and works well. Will be doing a video soon but I also think this thing seems like a good one.

Also only using it on a iStick 30w. I should have a temperature controlled/higher wattage device, but I have combusted nearly every time just a small bit where this is an indent for the screen.
