Alright FC, I've been looking into a new portable for quite awhile. I need help.

I am currently using an air, mflb, and Vapman. Iolite and hammer and a few others are just hanging out.

I've been thinking about picking up another OG da vinci, firefly, haze v3, crafty, inh05, Lily, summit. Like seriously I need some help and input front you guys.

What, no Vapcap, Triihouse Peace, MiVape or Prima on that list? There's also a new version of the HipVap so I hear.

Did that make it easier?

On your list, I've only used the Lily (it's pretty great) and the only other one that really interests me is the Crafty.

I would get a Crafty or a Mighty
explain more if you can? Reasons over which others you've used?

I need to wait and see on the mivape and prima, too early for me.

Well my reasoning is that you have tried a lot of different portables so why not try the best. Okay 'the best' is not really a description that FC accepts but imo a lot of battery operated mid range portables are pretty similar in performance. Imo Crafty and Mighty are peerless in that area. I havnt tried all of the vapes you mentioned but based on my research I dont think it is necessary. For example the Summit is probably better than a Pax 1 or a Flowermate model but i doubt they could compare to the S&B models. Anyway, just my opinion.

Depends what you mean by "portable"? There's a big difference between buying a portable to take hiking and buying a portable just to use on a different couch .

I don't have either one but I would vote for a Triihouse Daisy or Lily! They are at least a bit different to what you already have.

I would get a crafty from the vapes on your list.

The damn pigs took my crafty and pax2 last week so I've been kinda fucking bumbed out about it...fml

Anyway back to the topic. I loved the crafty, but for an all day vape the pax2 was king, it lasted longer throughout the day and I liked the effects

Crafty vs mighty. ..mighty wins all day, better battery life, passthrough charging and stronger heater are the reason.

I absolutely love the lily as well! It's a beast In the flame powered vape department.

A buddy of mine actually has an OG davinci he wants to trade me as we speak, I should take him up on it, I do miss it.

Well that's my :2c:

Kid,

If you want a crafty for out and about, need to get a power bank. Maybe three sessions tops if you finish every bowl thoroughly.

I have a mighty and lasts me all day. Both deliver excellent vapor, but the Mighty would be better if you want longer session time.

Haze V3 is badass, can do anything you throw at it. Dry material, concentrate, e,juice. Battery swap, material swap, dual chambers. 10 year Warranty.

INH is out.

OG Davinci- this Vape became cumbersome for me, ifeel like NOW its a great starter vape. I'd probably get a flowermate now a days(which I have) and its basically the same design, but cheaper.

Lily- don't have one but have a Lotus and Vapman. Lotus makes the high temp cap now for concentrates and the WPA is fun to vape with.

Summit seems cool- just never popped up on my radar.

MiVape is out bro.(for now)

A buddy has a firefly and he said only uses it for flavor, not really for medicating sessions.

Hope this helps. You can always PM me to talk shop.

So it depends what you want. A long session Vape? Butane or battery? Stealth vs non stealth? Conduction or convection? Dry material and concentrate? Lastly, $$$?

Peace!

How do you like the MFLB style of vaping? I think the firefly really belongs in your collection if you're an MFLB fan

I have lily and the mighty
Lily pros- instant heat, can be used as a one hitter, great for conserving your stash, butane powered, great for replicating the smoking feel, easy to set up, beautiful wood body

Lily cons- the periscope becomes very hot, takes a minute or two to fully put away once done vaping (unless have a way to cool the periscope a bit faster), requires two hands to use, can be harsh on the throat,

Mighty pros- no draw restriction, consistent big clouds, great taste first hit or two, pretty decent battery life (haven't used many battery powered to compare too), reclaim from the cooling unit, fast extraction of goodies, temp control, pretty smooth on the inhale, gets the job done fast, get the brush that I love with it

Cons- having to charge it lol, chance of having issues with unit(broken fins, error 004), non replacable batteries, heat up time (though only like a minute thirty, still not instant like lily), consistant cooking of herb ( kinda puts a rush on vaping, which to me is a plus at times and a minus at others), shut off timer is two minute if cant reset it with your draw(easy to turn back on quickly though), and I cough a lot on the exhale even with the smoothness though pretty sure that's just me
Probably more I can't think of cause can't use either atm, and havent used any of the others so cant put input into them, but hope was able to help you a little bit

RUDE BOY

Space is the Place
I cast a vote for the Lily.
As conservative as my UD's, mflb, vapman and as Bad Ass performance wise with the ability to do one hit or a session at a moments notice, the lily is pretty sweet.

I'm also becoming less and less of a fan of needing to charge vapes and/or keeping tabs on batteries and chargers(got way too many of both). Battery charging is becoming a bit of a pain in the Ass for me these days and torches are just so simple to refill and one fill lasts me damn near a week of late.

Plus the lily is a great little vape at a really great price, a true gem at it's price of $89 if you ask me.

But ... Whatever you chose now you gotta know there's still room for the lily/daisy in your regular rotation.

:peace: ... :2c:

I vote Haze, while its the only one of your list Ive used, the CS is beautiful, the product is great and does exactly what is supposed to and very well. But one of my favorite parts is you can grab an extra pack of batteries and cans and have a solid set-up for the day without having to deal with unloadings and repacking. You just switch the the 2nd oven when youre done with the first, then after those you just pop the cans out and throw in 2 more cans that are already packed and youre ready to roll. When the battery dies, swap it out. convenience is awesome

I go where the thrills are
The INH is cool and works great, but the company has issues and service from them will make you lose your mind.

The FF is great and has superior flavor, but it's a tricky little guy with a steep learning curve.

Haven't used a Crafty....but the Mighty, as they say, totally fucking rules. Wouldn't live without one, once I had one in my repetoire.

Haven't tried your other short-listers....but I'd pick the Crafty among them, based on my Mighty experience.

Kid you have quite the vaporizer collection. Still looking for that perfect unit I see. I'm going to be pulling the trigger on the Haze soon, still reading up:cool:but it looks like a winner IMO. A 10 year warranty, that is a gold star.

I have thought about the Mighty and that might be something for me further down the road. I have a hard time justifying spending that kind of money all at once. The Crafty seems to have too short of a battery life for my taste. I'm not interested hooking anything up to my iPhone or iPad to register use, battery life or temp. I don't want to hassle with that.:2c::peace:

EDIT
I see you don't own the Arizer Air, that might be one you might want in your arsenal eventually. It's an awesome little portable that's well made and small with good flavor. It has the user replaceable batteries.

Alright homie, here's my thoughts on this. Wait. The portable landscape will change in the next few months. RBT's portables line, 7th floor's sidekick (as far as i know, announced today), Okin, just to name a few.
I think there are some new exciting changes that will be coming to portables as a result. Of course, I know VAS and patience don't exactly go together, but it might be worth it in this case.

Mmmmm fuck you! Haha. I "thought" I had temporarily cured VAS until the zion came and then I'd just quit cold turkey! After reading this I now realised I need another butane one, a proper torch one. Got a hammer and VG (been on loan, but used enjoyed and got me keen for another). Why don't you pick up the lotus or lilly and let a brother know how it compares to your hammer;)? When you looking at purchasing? Let me know your butane short list if you work one out.

@KidFated.

The Haze v3 bro.

The more I look/read/ hear about it, the more I want it.

10 year warranty for a portable cannabis Vape?!?!?

I'm saving up as we speak.
I really really dig the haze and always have..
INH is out.
Randy will take care of me if I have any issues so I dunno..

I have no idea.. As of now, haze, inh, crafty, Lily, and og da vinci remain on my radar. I'm gunna wait and see for the Zion.. I hate being indecisive

I love my Haze V3. Just tried it with Shatter, and while I still am learning about the basics of wax, it was pretty awesome. Great with hash, superb with dry herb (3 different ways to use it all fun), kief is very very good, tincture I am learning but it mellows out the taste nicely. It just is a fantastic machine.

I'm not being a fan boy, I got my mighty for free so I have no bias, but currently the mighty is simply the best portable on the market. it's only main downside is it's size, it's more like a wireless vape in many regards, but it is a god damn beast, I've tried numerous vaporizers and I think that the mighty comes the closest to emulating a desktop vaporizer. With a muzzmod or a vapefiend adapter you can use it like a Vapexhale Cloud and it comes pretty close to emulating the cloud.

The crafty is obviously smaller but has battery issues and is kind of gimmicky to me with the bluetooth controls but it is a beautiful size if you're a very casual vaporist.

Just sell your other vapes and get a mighty.
air - won't compare to a mighty
mflb - definitely won't compare to a mighty
Vapman - is pretty decent for hash but imo a mighty has it beat for flavor
and has proper temperature controls as opposed to using a jet-lighter
Iolite - Crap (Sorry)
Hammer - Idk much about this? is it that butane powered thing? just get a mighty lol.
