Most movies with Jim Carrey in it I usually don't like.

I like a comedy but not with Jim Carrey. I loved "In Living Color" but
I never liked him even back then. Maybe it's just me?

Huh. I must be weird. I liked Eyes Wide Shut. Great commentary on jealousy in a relationship. I also liked Idiocracy. I think Mike Judge was pretty spot on with the way society is progressing. Ace Ventura movies are classic and Me, Myself and Irene was great! He has had some turds though. I LOVE Tarantino. Haha. I digress. If you want to watch a truly great bad movie watch Hobo with a Shotgun.

@RUDE BOY We are kindred spirits because I can't stand Jerry Lewis movies either. I might like a Drama with Jim Carrey? He would be good as a dark character.

EDIT
I really like Jamie Foxx and always have - way back when he started out on Living Color too.

My turn! Growing up I worked in a mom and pops video rental store... VHS tapes... During the time when the market opened up and was flooding with anything anyone could put to tape. So, from that Era, I've seen them all....

This one is in the top 20 of those that will make the other movies that you've stated " I'll never get those two hours of my life back.... " seem like classics...

Imagine a mix of..
* B-Rated Hellraiser characters
* Watching someone play an 80s Tunnel racing video game.
* Filmed in poor Big Trouble in Little China style.
* A horrid main character who carries himself as Jean Claude Van Damme with the attitude of Steven Segal (in his most recent movies, YUCK).

IMDB gave it just over 1 star! I almost made it 25 minutes before tapping out!

Why? You may ask... the wifey saw the picture picture on the box on Prime and said... 'oh, that looks good'..... hahaha

We exchanged a few odd glances, laughed... I may have cried?

There are two things for certain... she'll be reminded of this movie as need for a laugh arises... and most importantly... I have a Get Out Of Jail Free Card, should I choose a movie that totally BITES!

(I know someone out there will watch this movie due to reading this and I beg you, get Rip Roaring Wasted first!!!!)

See, I kinda liked the Prometheus plot where the aliens seeded/reseeded the planets with dna. It answered many of my questions about the entire series.

I'm a fan though.

Predators - was on again the other night, watched it again, realised how crap it was again!

When it first came out - I thought 'Predator' + Danny Trejo & Lawrence Fishbourne = I'm in!

They are on the poster - yet dead in 5 minutes - WTH - bit parts!

The really annoying thing about this movie was that the scenes that they showed in the trailer didn't happen in the actual movie.

I will say they could have saved this movie with one change. Instead of Laurence Fishbourne, that part should have been played by a recaptured Danny Glover.

Back on topic, I think the new Bond films are horrible. Over produced, poorly edited bags of shite. The action scenes are filmed or edited down to a very low field of view and you can't tell what the hell is going on and I just usually end up with a headache and wish I'd watched Groundhog day again.

I'm not a fan of Daniel Craig, so never really going to enjoy the current Bond movies :(

Trust me, even Roger Moore, Jaws, Odd Job and Scaramanga couldn't get me to like this crap. Geez, bring back Timothy Dalton ffs.

But fyi, the Dan Craig Bond films are the biggest earning movies in the franchise. WTF!

Back on topic,

lol I can't stand the Spiderman movies either, any of them. But thought the first Hulk movie was great.

I don't mind Marvel films, Though I enjoyed Jupiter Ascending (Wackowski) more than Guardians of the Galaxy, but I agree with @syrupy 'Fantastic Four' was pants!

Though I watched 'Pixels' on Sunday and I actually enjoyed it and I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, I liked 'The Cobbler' also but it does have Steve Buschemi in it so I'll forgive myself!

There have always been bad movies, but it seems to me that most movies suck these days. The best quality stuff is on TV these days, IMO. There are so many great shows that I can't even watch a fraction of what I'd like to.

Elijah Wood??? What a step down!

I did love the crossing guard and his constant goal to score shrooms, then taking the entire bag full and tripping out while the zombie kids were eating the school staff...

Other than that, be medicated.... be very medicated! :freak:

The Ghost and the Darkness with Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas. It's from 1996. I had to watch the whole horrible thing. Kinda like a train wreck you can't stop watching. The two main characters are the lion hunters. They are paid to get rid of the menacing animals. The story sets place in Africa.

The lions are always 2 steps a head of the dumb humans. There's also something more sinister its hinted at play when everyone's guns screw up right when they need them most. A lot of crunching noises when the lions get a hold of the humans. The director or sound person used the same sound bite throughout. It shows the lion after the kill with blood all over its face.

It's a frustrating movie because the same thing keeps happening. The lions kill people and the lion hunters can't get the job done. In case you decide to watch it I won't divulge anymore of the plot.

I see that whoever gave it 2 stars. One would have been enough. I fell in love with Val Kilmer originally in The Saint, I loved that. He was my actor crush for a few years, no more.

now I'm wondering if MST3K (Mystery Science Theatre 3000) every did a show on Zontar...
they did some funny shit :) I think MST3K was doing a 'reunion' show or new episodes through
crowdsourcing awhile back. Have to check that out, all the laughin' I can get is helpful :)
