Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I was away last week and had to rely on my Lotus as my travel unit. It did the trick as always, but I missed the nano. The problem with the Lotus is, if you don't use it regularly you forget the "sweet spot" with the torch. It got me well vaped, but I had some charring and bitter flavors.

When I got home I immediately plugged in the nano, set it 6.25 and was hitting that consistent, tasty vapor again through my water pipe.

Oh Mr. Nano, How I missed you  Let's never part again :luv:

Same here, i went to my other place for a couple of days, and i took everything, powercord, stepdown converter, stem, gong, wt, but forgot the nano...
When i'm finished vaping, i put everything in my vape cupboard, but the nano usually just sits on the table, not the best place when you're in a hurry and throw everything in a bag quickly :(
I'm sorely missing it, i only have it since august or so, but i've fallen in love with it so much, that this is nothing short of a drama.
Luckily i brought a little box of edibles with me, and i have my dabbing stuff here, but still...

By the way, since i have the nano i almost completely stopped doing dabs, i rather put my bubble in the nano, better flavor, but i also enjoy the effect much, much more!

One question: How in the world is it that this thing works better without grinding than with? Every other vape I have experience with (largely portables) benefits from a tighter pack and material with more surface area but the nano reverses this characteristic. I understand that grinding might not add much to some vapes' performance due to design but with the enano it seems that grinding actually works against it.

I've tried nuggets, fine, medium or coarse grind. I prefer a medium grind unless I'm using the fixed glass stem, I use a coarse grind because of herb particles or a nugg in that case. Also moving the screen so there is no packing of your product. If your bud is packed the air flow suffers.

That's right air flow is really important especially this style of vaporizer.

I wish we could sort this thread by the number of 'likes' it got, so we could easily find the 'best'/most interesting posts.

Some discoloration has appeared on my nano - that's normal, right?

Wood or metal surface? Woods can indeed darken with use but if your getting discolouration at the heating port then that’s different.

I usually heat it to 10 for a few minutes, then if I use 'hard' (brick) material then I set it to 8, and if it's dry herb I set it on 7. It's usually on 24/7 with heat setting 4.
If what you are referring to as discoloration being the accentuated stripes along the grain lines, that is normal and should be enjoyed for the enhanced character being brought out in the wood. Your usage is normal and poses no cause for concern as far as your pics indicate. I would suggest, however, that since you prime your Nano with a heat setting of 10 and then lower to desired temp, leaving it on 24/7 is unnecessary.

So, I got my E-Nano finally! I have been using it for the last 2 weeks and it's amazing!
So I went ahead and ordered a D020. I saw people using it and making big clouds. However, when I try to vape with the D020 my stuff barely browns and makes no vapour. I turned the temperature up to 8.5 and moved the herb right next to the heater (1mm close). No difference, I would get huge clouds with the dry stem at 7! The thing is, that I still get super high! WTF is going on?

I do not own a d020.. but i am using my bubbler with the same heat setting 6.5 as with my stem and I am getting big clouds and my abv also gets brown...

do not know why you do not get clouds and why your herb is not getting brown... I would try to adjust the distance to the herb so it is equaly away from the heater for stem and gong.. maybe try to cover the screen with your herb so the hot air flows equaly over your herb... if you get good results with your stem you should be able to get good results with your bubbler... also do not use a lot of water in your bubbler ... you can also try your bubbler dry without water..
also check for air leakage... maybe the gong does not fit perfectly in your bubbler...

Have you tried pulling very slowly? Basically allowing the air flow more exposure to the heater core.

I find with a bubbler it's easy to pull too hard and cool the air too much.

So I got the E-nano today! I couldn't wait to get off work and use it, and boy does it own. As soon as I got it loaded (which was fumbly, but not as bad as the Titan and roughly on par with the Crafty). I initially took a little too big of a hit, which I've done at the beginning with each new vape I've gotten--I'm sippy and not a heavy hitter at all, so it's kinda easy to do when I don't know what to expect. But seriously by the second hit I was blown away. It's now almost 45 minutes later, and I'm still taking the occasional hit from this tiny amount of herb, and still getting visible vapor. Occasional small sips is my style of pipe smoking too, but this thing is so satisfying that it might really replace combustion entirely or almost entirely for me! I am absolutely in love with the fact that I can hit it as little or as much as I like.

I do sort of dislike the cable, but it's only a minor annoyance and I'm sure I'll get used to it or come up with an elegant solution. The stem looks kind of shady, but the performance is excellent and I've already ordered a couple prettier replacements.

I plan to order a Grasshopper next month, but the E-nano should serve me very well until that gets here and beyond.

@Eyedunno I'm no Sherlock but I can see a heavy VAS case here! Not judging of course, just appreciating and envying the fact you can experience different vaporizers! Did you get the all glass stem? I love vaporizing through glass and glass ALONE, meaning no screens and no "easy fill" metal container (yeah I'm looking at you, Evo).

Both with the nano and the solo I'm having better aroma, taste and strength using only glass.
