Personally, I think this thing is perfectly designed for herbs in general.

RBT uses lavender a lot for demonstration purposes. Not my deal but he seems to enjoy it.
It's probably more so that promoting your device with a legal substance everywhere is a lot safer than promoting your device with a substance that's only legal in a few places. Or maybe he really does just love vaping lavender haha.

I like to mix chamomile and mj (although I'm not a vaper yet), and I look forward to trying plenty of other herbs once I have a Zion to play with. Experimenting is going to be fun! :science: I have a hobby-interest in medicinal herbs. There's so much to learn in that area, and so little info regarding vaping them.

But I like it!
Does it help with headaches because you can fashion it into a sort of crude clothes-pin-like device?

Edit - To ensure we stay on topic - Go RBT and C'mon October. I can only imagine the woodchips flying in a vortex, whirling around the shop in that whimsical, Disney-like way that adds to the magic, but not in a freaky Magicians Apprentice type of thing with the brooms and such...

@unapersona, you should get an email with your serial number sometime after production is in full swing and when units are almost ready to leave. I believe you will be given a chance to amend orders when you receive the mail. There is going to be some lag in his responses right now as he is focusing on production of your and everyone else's Zion and not spending much time staring at a computer screen ;)

Does anyone know how to get in touch with RBT? I placed an order for a Zion a few days ago, but I need to make some changes to the order. I sent a message via the feedback form, but haven't heard anything back. I really don't want to cancel the order; I really want a Zion!

Don't worry, you will get an email prior to shipping to confirm address and order details you will be able to make necessary adjustments then.

Edit. Mr. P beat me by a few seconds, and provided better perspective anyway

I have to admit out of all the nice comments the Zion has received I think 'boring' is my favorite adjective so far.

To me that's a slam dunk review as it means there's no drama involved, just desired results so predictable and reliable that it becomes taken for granted. Perfect!
I'm very happy to hear that from you, as I was concerned that my lack of suggested tweaks and embellishments for design might have been a disappointment.

One thing I can add today is that I've realized that, curiously, I rarely have to clean a screen. I'm not sure exactly what that means about how the vaporization is taking place, but it suggests that it is thorough.

So I'll just keep on pumping massive amounts of high CBD and weird Washington state concentrates through whatever devices you entrust me with.

Also, I was asked about battery life. I have four matched sets of batteries, and I probably swap out once a day well before I need to. If I was gone from morning until night, I'm sure I'd have no problem carrying only one spare set. And would have plenty of juice to spare.

Would there be a point to getting a log vape if you have the Zion? Like if got a log vape, would it most likely end up collecting dust once the Zion arrives?

That's great RBT is focusing on production but customer service shouldn't fall by the wayside because of it.

@Likes2vape , RBT has been pretty forward about the fact that he was stepping away from the web for a couple of weeks. Sure he could sit here and answer questions all day or he could build the Zions. I can assure you customer service is the reason he is taking the time to make sure production is up to par. Compared to other companies you will not find a more open, dedicated and supportive vape company that I can find. Without a quality vape he will have no customers to service ;) @OctilleryYay, @pakalolo created a Zion shipping thread to discuss delivery times.

Potentially, many of us have been enjoying Zion more than (or at least as much as) our logs lately, and could be especially true once a pass through drop in accesory is developed making it an actual plug in desktop too...
But logs are still fun in their own right, exotics for one thing sure look unworldy beautiful

It depends on how many vaporizers you have. I currently have a desktop and a very old portable with the Zion on the way. I am not necessarily hurting for my Zion anymore, but I eagerly await any sign it's on its way. If you don't have anything, it's always good to have at least one backup. If all goes well, I plan on treating my Zion as my primary.

In my impatience for the Zion, I forced myself to get good with the whip on my EQ to make it less of a noisy chore (as opposed to bag fill). I'm learning to reappreciate the stuff I already have.

As the poster above suggests, it is always good to have backup in case something happens to your main vape. And many people appreciate the variety of multiple vapes and their various differences. If you are like me you may find that you use your other vapes way less, but you will still use them.

That's great RBT is focusing on production but customer service shouldn't fall by the wayside because of it.
We ask that you ask your questions in here so that RBT can finish his work to get Zions to his users. I don't think there are any questions that we are not answering other than possibly questions about overseas purchases that there are no firm answers for yet. I don't think it is fair to suggest that customer service might "fall by the wayside". Not only is that unlikely, but it would suggest that RBTs beta team is falling down, and I don't think that is happening. There are a bunch of us here following through every day.
So, ask away. We will do our best (pretty good I think) to make sure you get answers.

Hey guys just found this forum a couple weeks ago and have been searching for a vaporizer, that works on legal herbal blends. I have seen a few comments recently on this thread that excites me. I had bought a mighty and tried vaporizing a variety of legal herbs and wasn't satisfied with the results. I could only get MINIMAL vapor with the thing fully torqued. Pop a little bud in there and it starts giving out clouds.... I understand it has a lot to do with what you load up the device with, but also if I load up my volcano with the legal blends and crank it to 330-340 I can get some clouds.... I am desperately searching for a portable that can give me some clouds off a legal blend, to use as a smoking alternative. I would really like to see some videos of the Zion doing this! I had heard there is a video of someone vamping lavender, but can't seem to find it! I did sell my mighty, and am wanting to pre order, but don't think I should buy anything until I can confirm I will get the result I want from some legal blend that doesn't taste bad. Any advice, comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
