next generation e-nails?

Speaking of the Galaxy enail, @herbivore21 any thoughts on ceramic infused with quartz? Positives? Negatives?

They don't have any info about it on their site (that I can find). It's good to hear the have good customer service though!

How about SiC infused with Quartz, or SiC infused with Sapphire, or Quartz infused with Sapphire, or Sapphire infused with more Sapphire, or SiC infused with Quartz infused with Sapphire :o:science: :bowdown:

Mind blown :smug:

Ceramic and quartz together sounds promising man, it could certainly help to make up for the thermal drawbacks of quartz as a dab surface!

SiC and sapphire together could be sweet too, but sapphire is already twice as conductive as ti. Still, the use of SiC instead of all sapphire would considerably reduce costs!

Ha acutally wasnt my box that died it was my coil. got a flat coil rewired it and im back up and running. Kinda amazing. It was a butcher of a solder job.
Sic halo is amazing at spreading the dab. Have a ceramic carb cap that fits wayy better than the idab and im not considering the dnail carb or saphire insert. Might grab a saphire halo if i can tho. These nails are certianly worth the money.

Great Scott!
What is this crap on my fairly new and lightly used sic nail? Can't torch it clean or iso it off. I already emailed dnail because I'm concerned. I picked sic because of its safety profile among other things. Am I wrong for thinking it should not look like this? Less than 1 gram on this thing so far I'd say.

Looks like it might be resin that turned to ash. Worst case if it is oxidizing it will just turn to quartz. Someone reported something like that recently on Facebook, except it was after several months, D-Nail thought it might be a machining issue from an early batch. I probably wouldn't be concerned to keep using it until you get a response back from them.

I have a definite favorite next generation nail for my enail! I use the Concentrate Connoisseur accessories Liger Banger with quartz insert. It is hands down the best tasting, best hitting nail I have used on my enail so far. It's a really nice titanium banger that works great with the enail by itself. I also like that it fits all female and male fittings I have and has a removable direct inject tube to keep everything clean. Add the Quartz insert and the flavor is unmatched. This is my daily driver, thousands of dabs taken from this nail and still on the original quartz insert. The US made molded quartz seems to hold up much better than any other quartz I have owned. There isn't even any hazing or cracking after repeated torch cleanings.

I'll post pics of the quartz insert later, it is actually double sided with a big dish and a shallow dish on the back side. That means the quartz never actually touches the titanium, it is just fully surrounded by the 710 degree Ti and vaporizes in the quartz via convection. It really is the best thought out nail I have ever used. The owner Josh was very helpful too and customized the storm cell cap I got to go with it. This nail gets my vote so far although I haven't tried the CCA Zeus with upcoming quartz insert or the Happy Daddy Genesis with quartz insert, nor the SiC and Sapphire discs. they all look pretty awesome as well. I will do an in depth review on this Liger as well as the Zeus, Genesis, and others as I can get my hands on them. I'll keep you guys posted.

As far as the actual E-nail I use the greenlightvapes higher end LCD model that uses an Omron e5cc PiD. This works SO MUCH better than all of the $130-$150 chinese enails I have tried. It cost around $299 retail but you can buy off alibaba direct for around $235 shipped. I highly suggest this combination.

Can you get a shot of the quartz insert installed in the nail? Curious how it looks.

Looks like carbon to me brother, that does not at all look like the white marks from the suspected machining issue that @Monsoon mentioned, which IIRC were much smaller, more like little white chips at the edges of the dish. I have 2 of the first final release SiC dishes and neither has ever gotten a mark that wasn't there to begin with which didn't torch off (sometimes required very, very aggressive torching and use of a damp magic eraser - which btw is the best thing to clean absolutely filthy quartz and sapphire halos with too :D ).

Sure, Here are some good pics of the CCA Liger Insert

I use the shallow end for small dabs and the deep dish side for bigger. This quartz is molded to achieve this shape.

This looks very interesting, and could be one of the tastiest bangers out there right now judging from materials (aside from the Hive ceramic ones, since ceramic typically >>> quartz/ti in both flavor and thermals).

Still, I gotta ask man when you suggest above that the flavor is unparalleled, am I right in guessing that you haven't tried any of the SiC/sapphire/SiN/machined quartz (quartz halo) e-nail solutions yet?

These look much better than your usual quartz/ti nails nonetheless :D

I was thinking this was just a cheaper copy of the Silika Side-Arm e-nail but the quartz insert actually makes it a much better product and deal.

You are correct, I have not tried the Sic/sapphire solution. I need to order one to see which I like best. As much as I spend on top notch concentrates these nails are a drop in the bucket! I will buy all of the nails if necessary to get the best solution possible. As far as Ceramic goes I just don't love it. I keep trying to like them but I don't as much as quartz. The hive is better than the rest but still right under high quality quartz to me, I know I may be alone on that opinion. I AM however interested in quartz infused ceramic. I'm wondering why more people haven't experimented with that material? Luckily we have these forums to help us along the way! I appreciate this thread and have read all 63 pages lol. I have tried a quartz halo on Ti and it did not compare in the flavor department to the Liger banger. I can only think that it was because part of the dab is vaporized on the halo and some hits the sides of the Ti nail. With The quartz cup it's all quartz contact. I do think the convection aspect of this insert is extremely interesting and could be improving the flavor as well since there is really very little titanium to quartz contact with the insert. It really is like dabbing in a little quartz oven. I've been getting some REALLY sweet 680 degree dabs off some good nug run shatter and live resins. I know I like to have a lot of rigs with a lot of different nails but it's really hard for me to use anything else but this one these days. I highly suggest you add one to your rotation.

The Silika side arm was an ok torch banger, I have one in the nail drawer somewhere lol. Definitely not in the same league with this one though. Besides the Quartz insert difference the fact that the CCA one can be torched or used with an enail with the lock on bottom ring sets it apart. Not to mention the silika would drip reclaim all over the outside of my down stem. The direct inject tube on the Liger keeps that from happening. needless to say that's why the silika is in the drawer with the other quartz bangers, salt shakers, halos, bird cages and other nails I just had to try when it hit the market :bang:

Ive managed to hold out from placing a dnail order for a bit now. Next time I splurge (hopefully a while) I'm getting that sapphire insert and the dnail universal carb cap.

I really want to try the quartz dish, but I can't justify it. I just got a new coil, analog dnail, and the sic all to switch from quartz to that ha-ha. I can't switch back now.

Word is the d-nail press has some issues that prevent it from being worthwhile it seems. There's a few accounts of that from what I've read at least. Was looking forward to an affordable efficient press myself.

Just heared a whisper that SiC inserts will be available soon from cca710 for there new banger...

That makes me very happy! I personally love banger style nails so this sounds great to me!. It seems like I get a lot less reclaim in my rig with them too. Although I can't imagine the taste being any more pure than I am getting now off of the molded quartz Liger cup I sure want a SiC cup to find out! CCA is a great company, Josh was very helpful when I ordered mine.
I currently have a 16mm and a 20mm to use with my Enail. Are most of you using the flat coil with the D-nail setup or do you switch it up like I do? The coils are so inexpensive and consumable so I figure I should just keep one around of every size for different nails. Where do you buy your coils? I pay $30 each for these Kevlar wrapped from Green Light Vapes. The temp is dead on and I'm still on my first coil so the quality must be good. I haven't tried the titanium encased coils but they look pretty sweet, does anyone use those?

Just cave in and ordered one of the liger bangers, storm cap, quartz insert and as soon as released will be getting the SiC. Can only say Josh was quick to respons after a small delay. Will also let you know how shipping to EU will go.

Yet I cannot but feel, this is just the beginning of a lot of new things to see the light of day...

I'm sure you will love it. I just requested a pre-order on the SiC liger insert, I'm pumped. I am also going to try the Zeus from CCA710. It looks a lot like the D-nail V2 titanium nail I wanted to try on my travel rig but cost less than 1/2 as much! I know CCA710 is coming up with inserts for this nail as well, Dnail currently has the ceramic insert for their version. I still want to try a Happy Daddy Genesis too, have any of you used one? Happy Daddy makes my favorite dab tools.

Sapphire Powered Dabstronaut.
^^^ I ordered the Happy Daddy Genesis Micro.

The quality of the construction was top notch.
Well thought out design.

I ended up returning it as it didn't fit a 10mm female joint.
The customer service from Happy Daddy (thank you Catherine!) was top notch.

The full size Genesis looks like a really good design.
I would think that reclaim would be reduced quite alot with the secondary sublimation chamber.

good to know. I may eventually pick one up to try. I also think the Black Market quartz dish would fit in the 20mm Boss Ti nail. That could be a really good solution for $35 if you get the knock off or $65 if you got the real deal. I have the 16mm boss and it hits great but I haven't tried the quartz dish in it yet, just a thought. I think the quartz lens from the genesis micro would fit in the 16mm version and the cup from the full size genesis would fit in the 20mm version. It could be a poor man's solution to decent flavor for those who only intend on spending around $40 total for their nail. I prefer to spend a little more but I know others are looking for the cheapest solution possible.

I've taken to starting my day with a tiny bowl of flowers (almost nothing) in the dnail flower adapter, when I first wake up and then a dab of no THC high cbd acdc. This quartz halo seems to produce the best flavor with my acdc errrl. Better than sapphire. I dab at about 850f on the quartz halo with acdc (protip: always dab high cbd concentrates 80-100f hotter than you usually dab THC predominate concentrates).

Finally ditched the Infiniti and got my hands on a dnail ti base, this thing is epic! So little metal, more effective dissipation of heat, doesn't conduct heat on the glass at all compared to Infiniti!

@herbivore21 what's the diameter of the d nail halos? Have you heard of any carb cap options for the halos getting ready to drop any time soon? I swear I saw a gr2 cap/dabber combo available for the halo dishes a few weeks back but it's no longer on the site.
TIA

Pretty sure it's just out of stock, I would send them a quick e-mail to see when they expect it back.
