Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I'm going to be ordering my Haze v3 in the next week! I have tried going back and reading in this thread, as well as searching for it across Google etc, and I can't find a thorough video on how to clean your Haze V3! I know this is probably cause this version just came out recently but can someone post one? Again if someone already posted it earlier in this thread I am sorry. Tried to go back and read some.

Anyways I know you probably need to clean the mouthpiece once a day. But what about a thorough cleaning? I am OCD and I also plan on using my Haze multiple times a day so I will plan on doing a thorough cleaning probably 2-3 times a week as well as a spot clean after every use or every other use. (Just like a clean my class pieces I own).

Also what is yalls take on what to use to clean? I recently have read and researched about Mr Clean Magic eraser! From my findings it isn't toxic and isn't harmful to use and works great. ISO is pretty good but sometimes it doesn't quite do it for my glass. Sometimes I have to use glass cleaner I got from a local headshop to finish off what ISO couldn't handle.

Anyways anxious for y'all to get back to me! Excited to order my Haze V3 soon! Can't wait to be on the vapeSquad and also the Haze Team. Thanks FC!
I use Formula 420, not sure what shops connected to here stock it but it works great with the Haze v3. It doesn't smell like Alcohol does and it really guts gunk off all the areas. A little on a q-tip end or two works for me, then when it is clean I just rinse with a dab of water on the other end of the tip. Then just a dry tip to make sure everything is gone. one to get the excess solution off. I get it at Amazon but again one of the Vaporizer stores can pop in and mention if they carry it. GREAT for cleaning almost anything incidentally.

Also I shared this with Scott in a PM and I thought I would here as the reviews have not been updated there for quite a while. No review's of V3's are up yet for instanfce

Scott, I wrote a 5 star review of the V3 for Vaporizerusa.net
I hope it will be up soon, I love your product and I actually feel better health wise since I have started using it. I wrote this with complete honesty.

"This is an excellent product. I really feel it is everything any could want in a vaporizer. It has no auto shut off so your sessions go uninterrupted. All materials vape very well in it. It has an excellent flavor. The battery life is really good, with an option to buy even better ones. The materials are made well. You have a number of different options for every way you vape. It is very easy to use once you learn how, plus the price here is cheaper than elsewhere. Combine that with superb customer support from the Haze company and a ten year warranty, well I find it hard to believe there are any better all around options out there. It is very portable as well. Cleaning isn't too bad either, I use Formula 420 myself. Go for it the V3 really seems like it will hold up for many years of use."

He then asked if there was any thing I don't like. They are small

Things like including a couple more cotton wicks. I have a real problem getting them out and tore apart my first one yesterday with my first try of a tincture. I will be doing a PM to Scott on this or maybe a new thread. Perhaps they should be slightly smaller?
Making the high grade batteries standard.
Engraving a little "open" sign so first time users know where to open the oven door.
Perhaps having a small lock for the battery door as it doesn't like to stay closed. Though it mostly will.
Otherwise I find it to be pretty perfect. Again I actually feel healthier since I began using this machine. Of course the quality of the materials you use makes a huge difference. Anybody curious of my experiences in more detail please just ask. Dry herb I have used in all ways. Loose Kief, hash, and now tincture too, all worked well though I need some lessons on the cotton wick with the latter obviously. Wonder what I did wrong??

So I'm in the market for my first vapeorizer, and I wanted a really good one. So I did hours and hours of research and watched video after video of people reviewing the top rated portables.

I have concluded that the haze v3 is the best overall (for me). The 10 year warranty and trade in programs are nice, but what really sold me is Scott! I just joined this forum site and I wanna give a huge shout out to him! Scott it is refreshing to see someone who truly gives effort to go above and beyond to take care of customers. So yes I could go on about the attractive features of the vape like the batteries, or the vape quality etc., but I chose to just simply let the more experienced people (who actually have used it) talk about its quality and features. I just wanted to say Scott and his customer service sold me on it! I am going to order my Haze V3 in the next week or 2 and I will be recommending yalls company to many of my friends. Very impressive work sir.

And also thank you to everyone on this forum and site. Yall make it easy for newbies like me to get good honest info and opinions.
This is my third but I wanted a major upgrade. He made a huge difference to me too. He has also answered all my questions since I bought it in great detail. You will love this vaporizer.

I'm not a fan of the formula 420 cleaner. It has a terrible odor to it that I dislike. I used to use it on my glass way back when I combusted but I quickly changed to salt and iso. If you have a problem wth the alcohol smell it dissipates very quickly after a few rinses.
In other news....my haze is coming today !!!
Got a busy, day hopefully I can find time for it ;)

I guess it's all according to taste, or scent in this case. Just wanted to mention it as an alternative that seems to chemically work well with it. The bottle I have is multi purpose which may be different than (I am guessing) a glass only one?

Hey guys and gals!!!

Wanted to share my Woman crush Wednesday:

This thing seriously rocks! I've owned the V2 model as well as the V2.5 version and I have to say this is hands down the best version they have ever released!

The materials, functionality, and design is just outstanding.

I realize some opinions may differ but when you have seen the progression from the earlier versions, it really puts things into perspective. You can truly see how HAZE listened to us and considered everything we had to say.

The temps on the V3 are perfect. It's seems the temp variation during your draw has diminished and it seems to stay the same temp more accurately. I didn't measure the temp but I used the previous versions enough to know the difference.

I will add more thoughts later. Also lastly, cleaning cans that you have used for concentrates can be cumbersome at times. So I found if you fill an already dirty concentrate can with dry material and do a session, afterwards when you go to dump your ABV- it won't be as sticky and the tweezers will easily take out everything. The can will be pretty dry and not full of sticky concentrate residual. This can help to keep your HAZE Vape clean. If you keep using the same can over and over without cleaning it, your vape will get pretty messy.

More to come,

:peace:

Just had my three sessions with the new V3 and it is AMAZING. I want to do some pictures and reviews based on my usage but I am trying not to repeat what everybody already raved about so i will need some time. There is literally 10+ ways to vape and enjoy this thing and that is how versatile it is. I will take pictures for every one of them and share with you guys. I want to say once again: Thank you for the great service and great product guys. I always had under 1 hour response time to my questions even on weekends and holidays where I did not expect anything back for a few days. I read horror stories for most well known brands about their support and general service quality so until they reach the level of support that is set very high by Haze guys, I will control my VAS.

Can anyone compare the Haze to the ESV? I would be interested in a comparison regardless of Haze model as I imagine there are not too many that have both the ESV and Haze.

The biggest difference is the Haze works right out of the box!

I just got an Elevape and I think it is going to be a winner down the road, but we have a lot to do to get it right. It's just super finicky at the moment and, imo, not ready for prime time.

With the Haze, you can vape your herbs a lot of different ways, and they all work well with almost no learning curve. Because it's an oven conduction design, I consider the Haze to be a session vape whereas the Elevape can be used one hit at a time.

They really are completely different vapes, though.

One battery will charge faster than two so if you want to try it quickly remove that second battery! :)

Also someone reported that they found literature that the charger should only be used if using two batteries.....that is false. Please let me know where you found that. You can charge one or two....It's just faster to do one at a time.

I have both the Esv since Feb 2015 and the Haze since Aug 2014, These two are totally diff unit's. The Esv is an on demand pure convection unit with non replaceable battery. The haze is a conduction / part conduction part convection session unit depending on screen used, And it has replaceable batteries even comes with two. The Haze standard package comes with enough to get you through the day. The Esv on the other hand is just for quick discrete draws wherever. The battery won't get you through the day if you try using it as a session Vape great flavorful vapors tho. I think there both great choices as long as you get the one that best suits your need's.

I don't reccommend soaking the lids in ISO. It will deform them over time. It is also hard to remove all the bad taste and you could inhale toxins as a result.

To clean them I either wipe lightly with ISO prep pads or I soak them in coconut milk.
That just pertains to the rubber lids correct ?because I already soaked the bottom metal pieces and stainless steel lid in iso ,as well as the screens and both mouthpieces.

My Haze is here! Yaaaaaaay!!!! It's so tiny and pretty!!! It might sound silly, but the form factor of some products just doesn't appeal to me. This is definitely asthetically appealing to a wide audience! Pictures don't do it justice. :) I wasn't looking for discreet portability as a high priority (but this would definitely fit in the pocket of all but the skinniest of jeans!); but I didn't want something that looks like paraphernalia either (I have nosy kids!). It's perfect.

So excited to use it this evening - thanks, everyone, for all of the great info on the best ways to grind/fill/pack/etc!

Now it's time to obsessively search for the perfect case.....................

Hi, the bowl's door of my Haze 2.5 stayed glued to the bowl as I would to open it (cold) for reload...so , now, I need to place it on the bowls and close the plastic door to keep it in place...this part seems to be glued to the plastic door.

I know I didn't cleaned it enough but I didn't expect this sort of issue, any idea to put it back in place without using glue?

Mine is the 2.5 if it's the bit I think I have taken mine off a few times (just because I could :mental:) and fitted it again.

The silicone bit that holds the metal plates that cover the ovens, there are flaps on the silicone and they fit over the bits on the honeycomb door, I used a toothpick from the outside through the honeycomb to clip it back on.

I will try and do some pics as it's hard to explain with words.

Edit:

It will only fit one way as there is a curve that follows the lid, it's easier to push the bottom two bits first (the ones with the flaps, yellow arrows) then push the top two on, then from the outside push a toothpick in and down the side of the hard plastic and spin it as you pull it out and the flaps should clip on properly, it might take a few goes to get it right I've done it a few times and it still takes about 5 mins.

Yeah, there is no glue on that part as they are snap in/out parts but I myself glued it there on one of my older units and they never come undone. The snap design was intended to take these off to clean them in time I guess and I never needed it since I just wipe them with ISO swap. If you want them permanently on the door, just use a tiny amount of glue inside the grooves of silicone, replace back on the door and you should be good to go.

Quoting the manual, under Usage Overview>Charging:
Manual said:
We recommend using both batteries in powerbank to preserve battery life although, one Haze Battery will suffice.

So I tried two bowls and I'm getting this nasty plastic like odor ,it's not extremely strong but my taste buds definitely detect it. What's going on ?
