Here is a "real" pic of the production chassis with the correct color and texture on it.

VAP3-PRODUCTION.jpg

We are working with the manufacturer on one last chassis fitment issue. As soon as it is resolved it is production time. I hope to have this finalized in the next 1-2 weeks.

Everything else is completed and on order.

We will not have a firm release date until all parts are received, but I have confidence that VAP3 will be under several Christmas trees this year.

Thank you for all your support. It will be worth the wait.

No battery pack for this one?

No battery pack on this one, but it will operate from any 12V outlet with the included car adapter and at home with the power brick.

Kinda bummed the date was moved back so much...I understand why and I'm just not the most patient person when it comes to waiting on a new vape

Sweet! I'd love to see a video of this bowl/tool setup in action!

So the dab bowl is kinda like a vxh nail

Yes.

I just got my hands on some peanut butter. I will put a dab video together soon for vap3. In the mean time please see the VAP2 2 dab video. It is essentially the same thing minus the hydrotube.

With the Evo, it gets upwards of 1,000 degrees way down in there (I think I heard that from a reliable source) so you get a true dab style hit. With other vapes the temp is much lower and you get a slow session with multiple, weaker hits. This appears to be somewhere in the middle, at least with the 2.0. How hot does it get down in there with the 3.0? And does it all burn off cleanly when done if you leave it on?

VAP3's dab rig will not give you a true dab style hit, like the Evo will. It does load in a similar fashion. That is what I said yes to above.

The glass lining of VAP3 is super heated like the Evo, but it does not get as hot. VAP3's glass lining gets upwards of 700 oF to achieve vaporization temps. VAP3 will not incinerate your dab. It will give you 3-5 good size hits off a very small dab. When you are done, the bowl will not be clean. It will require some gentle torch work to clean the glass after use.

With that being said, Vapolution believes in vaporizing, not smoking. We feel that vaping dab hits is healthier than incinerating them and have designed VAP3 accordingly.

I hope this clears up any confusion I made above.

On another note, all the design kinks have been worked out. All parts have been ordered. Now it is a waiting game for us and you.

We are looking at a release right before Christmas. Stay tuned! Thanks for all your support.

The ritual on the video looks like more work than I prefer to go through, but I think that having a Hydrotube for Vap3 makes it more convenient.
Also not excited about having to torch the glass to clean it, but overall, I think the pros outweigh the cons, and I'm looking forward to Christmas with the Vap3!

Think you might actually enjoy the ritual of doing oils in the glass nail for lack of a better word, we already have our rituals for grinding, stuffing bud in and the like this is just a extension, not a fan of having to burn of with a torch perhaps a drop of ISO and a pipe clearner could get most of the grime off?

Might have been covered already but how do you use concentrates like bubble with the vapolution, can it be done as I do like a bit of the sticky stuff ;)

An ISO soak will help a little, but the quickest cleanest way is to burn it off.

Bubble will work just as well. It is much easier to load since it lacks the sticky factor. You just drop it in.

That's good to know, will you have to crank up the temps because of it being less pure compared to oils and waxes, can see many a sticky ball being dropped down into the nail for unbelievable tasty hits of hashy goodness ;)
