Also what is yalls take on what to use to clean? I recently have read and researched about Mr Clean Magic eraser! From my findings it isn't toxic and isn't harmful to use and works great. ISO is pretty good but sometimes it doesn't quite do it for my glass. Sometimes I have to use glass cleaner I got from a local headshop to finish off what ISO couldn't handle.

I'm a big fan of magic eraser, great for those hard to shift spots although I do give an ISO wipe and burn off after use, for your glass have you tried PBW? great for hard to shift/reach bits on bubblers, I don't use this myself but use something similar but cheaper in the UK, lots here use it though with good results...

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/pbw-the-chemistry-of-clean.7854/

Also try rezblock or cranberry extract (there is a thread on that too somewhere here) in the water and you should find nothing sticks to the glass.

Oops, I guess I missed that in the directions, because I charge them solo all the time. Have I been damaging the batteries by doing this?

You will be fine the charger has independent channels, you can charge one, two or even charge one then put another in halfway through.

It will only charge them to 4.2v then cutoff, although it's best to not leave them in the charger once fully charged for too long.

hopefully this image works. But here is my setup and I'm pretty content with it. That bag is for all my abv and there is one battery inside the unit. So all in all I can hold 6 charged regular size batteries and I'm set for a nice weekend. For those curious that is not the case that haze offers on their website. I bought that one a while ago off a certain bidding website and it suited me just fine

I have read on this thread that Haze has an owners manual. It was also said that instead of including a DVD with the Haze, it would be online somewhere. Now I do not belong to nor do I believe in Spacebook. Is that the reason I can't find the damn manual? I can't vape till tomorrow when my Haze comes in. Hmm maybe that's why I can't find it. Hey Hazers help a fellow out.

I've not been able to find a pdf manual for the v3.0 but I dug around a bit and found some pdf's for the v2.5 in vapornation. I don't know if these are authorized copies or not. Mods and Scott: If this is not ok for any reason, say the word and I'll gladly take it down.

Dynalowrider: In the below linked page, if you scroll down below the products, they show two links for pdf download. It's the manual broken down into 2 separate parts.

http://www.vapornation.com/haze-vaporizer.html#instructions

I saw that the reviews were running lower than I think is accurate so I added my own while I was on their page. My review is on hold for moderation under the same screen name.

The unit itself is fairly self explanatory as well. I didn't have an instruction manual because I bought mine off a third party but I watched a few YouTube reviews and the rest was just intuition. So if you're looking for a more hands on video in the present then just YouTube "haze v3 vaporizer" and you should be good to go

If I could make one criticism of the Haze, it's that I wish it had the ability to be used while charging. Since it only comes with 2 batteries, and the manual recommends charging them both at the same time, there come times when I'm Hazeless. Perhaps I should buy 2 more batteries so I always have a pair ready?

Buy a couple of the XL Haze batteries and youre set. I have 4 batteries and I rotate them. I also have a better/faster charger that can handle any number of batteries from 1-4 so that helps. I never have a power problem with my Haze, having 4 batteries.

this is one of the few times I'd say following instructions(this particular one) isn't important. I mainly wait to charge 2 at a time but only for convenience (not having to keep track to avoid over charging more than once) So def feel free to charge one when its dead and you're using the 2nd... that being said another 2 batteries will be very useful, I love the fact that I have 4 (and kind of hate that I got another pack of reg instead of XL)

In reality, the xl is only 30% larger. So from a purely technical standpoint 4 regular batteries are far superior to 2xl batteries. And 6 regular batteries are better than 4xl batteries and they are more cost efficient. I bought 6 regular batteries for the price that 4xl batteries would've cost, and I get more power. With 6 regulars I get 16,800mah, and with 4xl I would only get 12,800mah.

Can I use my LUC v4 to charge the batteries?

Yeah it will be fine, choose lower Amps for a slower but kinder cell charge (also similar to the haze OEM charge rate) if in a rush 1A should be fine but will have a small negative effect on cell life, it's a trade off between charge speed and overall cell life, 2Amp I couldn't say off hand without checking cell specs and it's 5:30am here so it ain't happening tonight lol

It's a good charger

I am really enjoying my haze these last couple of weeks since I purchased through the man, the myth, the legend....you guessed it @scottg402!!! He helped me thoroughly with the process and had a nice chat with him along the way. He really does care about haze and its consumers..but on to some points I wanna hit on..the cans with the ss lids are my favorite way to use it..I get clouds on all settings and they just seem to give better taste to my herb than using either of the screens..I have been having some mp sticking issues..well hard to get out at times but I have been storing in the unit and I need to clean the glass and the pathway...which leads me to my question..when I am pulling my mp out or putting back in..about 2/3 of the way out I can hear and feel a click..not sure what this is? If it's a mechanism to let u know it's getting close to end? Just curious as it hasn't caused any issues yet..and have had concentrates lately and the cans with silicone lids are nice too..has leaked out or anything..and I get many many clouds with what seems like a normal to smallish dab..(maybe kinda big).,lol

@scott402 You wanna weigh in on this battery issue? What's the best course of action?

I get about 50-60 minutes use from each battery - I gather that's not bad. I use it for about 15-20 minutes at a time, and I get 3 sessions per battery cycle.

A battery level indicator wouldn't go amiss on the Haze V4.

Wow I don't know how I missed all this discussion last night. I responded to PM's but didn't see an alerts on the thread content. I need to check with the engineers on these questions though so bare with me.

I charge one battery at a time pretty frequently and didn't realize the manual had changed so that was a bit surprising to me. Please stand by and I'll try to get some answers for everyone.

I have been using my new Haze V3 for the last several nights and although I'm still experimenting...I'm really impressed.

The battery and oven door both feel great. Swapping between bowls feels sturdy, the improvement to temperature change is solid and the new mouthpieces feel great and really addressed a key issue. This vape is a solid improvement that I would have never thought I needed in some fashion, but I am so glad they're here!

I just finished a session that utilized both bowls. The first had a convection screen that had been deformed and then reformed and filled with ground herb. I also topped the screens with the steel lids for the cans. The clouds were plentiful and settings 3 and 4 really clouded up my bubblers for multiple draws in an impressive fashion! That may be a new favorite for me. The second had a can that contained a small amount of degummed hemp fiber that had been used to swab reclaim from a few pieces of glass. The vapor was quite tasty in its own right and was very medicating. I still need to test the conduction cans! I am really hoping they turn out as good as the cans and the convection screens!

Man the wait is killing me...usually im somewhat ;) patient about waiting for vapes ,somehow this one is different. I'm thinking about all the things I can do, convection screen ,conduction screen, concentrates. Two bowls back to back...so many possibilities.
Is there anything I need to do before I start vaping ?I will clean the mouthpieces with Iso but other then that if anyone has input I would love to hear :)
Seems like a great product and a even better company. Looks like I made the right choice :)
I'm hoping this will fill the permanent spot I have for a dedicated portable

question for anyone that has a Mighty and haze v3. Would you say the taste is superior on which one ?subjective but I would still like to know ,thanks !.

I'll take a crack at this. While I dislike my Mighty for more than a few reasons (short battery life, finnicky software, cracked fins) the vapor produced is incredibly tasty. It's crazy because it doesn't seem to matter how the bowls loaded or what temp you use the vapor is consistently perfect (for me anyways). I'm still waiting for my V3 (on the USPS slow train to Canada) but I found when my old V2.5 was dialled in the vapor was just as good. It took a while for me to figure out the perfect way to pack the cans but after that it was incredible. Reading everyone's comments on the V3 is making me CRAZY but it sounds like the vapor produced is even better that the 2.5.

Using both units side by side I notice that the taste on the haze for level 2 is where I get the best combination of taste and vapor, and for concentrates start at level 3. Side by side in my opinion the haze tastes better and gives a better effect, but the mighty gives bigger clouds. So if you're a cloud chaser then you know where to go, but if you want flavor and effect then I say haze v3 all the way

DISCLAIMER: I offer the Haze vaporizer in my catalog of vapes I sell. Please keep that in mind as you read this review of the Haze V3.
______________________________________________________________________________

To be honest, the Haze never really appealed to me. I've owner several conduction vapes and beta tested others, including the mflb, Iolite and Indica, and I am a convection snob. So this vape never really appealed to me, even though I respected the company (PIF program supporter!) and thought they were doing something different in the industry. I've had people approach me about buying them and I have usually steered them in a direction that appeals more to me. Let's face it...it's a conduction vape using similar technology as a world full of them, and the dual bowl thing seemed gimmicky to me at best.

But I was impressed enough with their marketing of the V3 to give it a try and called @scottg402 to see about getting one to review. The short answer, in case this post is already too long for you, is that I am impressed and have done a 180 on my opinion of it.

My first night of use included one convection bowl, one conduction bowl and one concentrate bowl. I was very impressed by the differences in the vaporizing experience and the effects when comparing convection to conduction...it really makes a difference and I found myself thinking this is the vape to use to understand the differences, especially in the effects!

Now I'm gonna shorten this and get to the point:
  • The conduction and convection screens do their job and really cook the load differently. The effects and abv are clear indicators of different processes going on here
  • The concentrate bowl really works!
  • The size of the bowls make this an efficient unit. Both ovens combined are probably smaller than the Pax bowl.
  • I love being able to load two bowls at once and have another two loaded and ready to go. I could take this one vape out for an all night affair and have everything I need.
  • The unit comes with two user swappable batteries and a charger...who else does that?
  • It's bigger than the competition, but the versatility and features warrant the size.
  • The oven half gets hot during extended use, but the battery half is always easy to handle.
  • Heat up time is very quick on a fresh battery.
  • Ten year warranty...gotta like that!
  • Retractable mouthpiece means its footprint doesn't get bigger than it is coming out of the box.
The bottom line is I really like this vape, am currently using it, and can wholeheartedly recommend it! I've met the owner and trust his character, and we have @scottg402 right here for us if we need anything. Whether you get one from Randy, myself, the company directly or some other authorized source, I think you will have made a solid vape choice with the Haze V3!

I use this charger and can highly recommend it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KZP3N1I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Its the EFEST LUC4 and it works flawlessly with the Haze batteries. It shuts off when the batteries are fully charged has full circuit protections and a nice battery level indicator. It also charges faster than the Haze charger. The Haze charger is a nice little charger but it is pretty basic. The only reason to switch is for convenience but for me its worth it. I use my Haze enough that I really like knowing Im not having to worry about running out of juice.

WOW.

I was really scared i would be let down because im used to using my lsv paired with a water pipe. I told myself to keep my expectations low for this vape because its a portable so it wont get me where i need to be.

I was definitely wrong though. This vape is so efficient, and the conduction screens really do get some nice clouds. Its only been my first day with it... but im fairly certain I made the right choice.

Thanks scott for helping me decide haze is the way to go with the killer support!
