looking for recommendations

So, I am very new to the entire vaping world, so forgive the noob'ness. Next time I see my buddy, he is giving me a Puffco Pro, a lot of liquid, and some wax, which will be my very first items into this world :D I've spent hours searching, and reading/watching reviews this past week., but to be honest, I am a little overwhelmed with the amount of products out there, so am looking for some recommendations/guidance to help me focus my searches a little better.

a little about me? I am new to this world, and don't really want to spend a fortune, until I know I will use it regularly. I will however, gladly spend a more money, to make sure I get something that is good quality, and durability. It is also important to me to have the ability to hold enough liquid to last at least 5 days at a time, of moderate usage for pain. I will be using this outdoors, in camping situations, so I don't want to carry extra stuff. Getting to my destinations, it will get bumped, and vibrated around a Lot, and most likely dropped a few times. I'm not the cloud chasing type, I just want a quality vape, that won't leak!

Now, on to the questions!

Liquid Tank?
Since I'm getting roughly 300ML of free liquid.. (please correct me if I'm wrong here) It is my understanding, instead of buying an entire pen, I am able to just buy a tank, that I can use with the Puffco Pro's battery. (i read, it is the common 510 type, but since it's not physically in my possession yet, I can't 100% verify that) I don't really know the sizes I should be looking at, or what materials it should be made of. Again, something that will hold enough for a min of 5 days of moderate usage. What is a Basic one I should look at? and what is a top of the line one, I can compare it to as far as pricing goes? If it is reasonably close in price, I'll just get the top of the line one.

Battery?
I would assume a battery, is a battery.. but if for whatever reason, the puffco's isn't an ideal battery for liquid use, what is a good battery to use? I have lots of AA, and 18650 rechargeables, and would prefer to use either of those in a battery pack that takes advantage of them. (to be fair, since i assumed a battery is a battery, except for thread sizing, I haven't spent any time researching batteries. If the puffco's battery works fine, then ignore this :)

Travel Case?
My buddy said the puffco came with a case, but he has no idea where it is anymore. This is going to get bumped/vibrated around a lot. (motorcycles, atv, 4x4) What is a good transport case, that is padded? Small/lightweight, but the level of protection is the most important. Something at least semi discreet?

Herbs
This is more of a question I Should probably ask later, but it never hurts to be prepared...amd since I already have your attention.. Once I use up the free liquids/wax that he is giving me, I will primarily be vaping herbs while at home, and using the puffco pro with wax whenever I'm mobile.. Are there any tanks that I am able to use with the puffco battery to vape herb? I'm guessing I will just need a whole new system at this point?

Thanks a Lot for any/all help you're able to provide me. If you guys can provide the names, I can find out where to buy things, so you don't need to use extra energy providing links (but i definitely won't get upset if you do!)

Not sure on if he will be giving you an atomizer tank?

This will at least tell you how to mix the wax and.... PG? (Liquid is all you refer to, so I have no idea what that could be.)

I am guessing the puffco is a battery, so this would be what you recharge and attach an atomizer to. These are replaceable coil/wick systems, so if it is not included with what your friend gives you, that will have to be purchased. Tanks would be for e-juice mix, coil atomizer for wax by itself.

Most pens have a feature where you click the trigger button 5 times and it will turn on or off, which is nice for pocketability/travel.

As far as herbs, you are kind of out of luck. There are some prototype dry herb atomizers out there, like this:

But you would need to have a mod box for atomizers capable of going sub-ohm.

If you like vaporizing, come back and describe what experience you are looking for with a vaporizer, and folks here are happy to steer you in a good direction, so you make a good vape choice.

Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply!

he is giving me a complete puffco, used only long enough to do a review on it.

It isn't capable of burning the liquids. From what he told me, the liquids are some mixes he made himself, where the consistency isn't thick enough to use in the puffco. I guess it doesn't have a splash-guard, and it can splash/spill out if not careful.

I should see him Wed. at the latest, and don't want to pester him too much about details till then.
