Discontinued Lily vaporizer by Triihouse

The Torch triihouse sells or the Vapman torch are my favorites...the torch they sell may be 'cheap' but it works well through a lot of use I've been using one everyday since i got my Daisy( been sitting out on the patio as the 'table' torch for over a year now and still lights first try every-time)


I've had nothing but bad luck with expensive cigar/pipe lighters and have wasted a couple hundred bucks on 'em over the last 5-6 years The 'torch' triihouse sells is much better in the long( or short) run then any name brand fancy 'lighter' I've found so far, It and the vapman torch are the tops as far as function goes in my experience.

I have 4 of the lighters from Triihouse. 3 of the 4 went bad for no apparent reason. My first was dead within 3 months, 1 was a week old and one was only 2 days old. When the lighter works, it works great and the lock-on feature was very handy for me. When the 3rd lighter went down I decided to move away from the Triihouse lighter even though it really has great performance and range for the flame size.

After the first torch went, I bought a Zephyr lighter for $30. It looks cool and the form factor was great for use with the Daisy, however I find that it holds very little fluid and I always have it set at it's highest setting and in certain conditions it does not seem strong enough for that instant vaporization that we seek for in the Daisy/Lily/Peace or other torch vapes. The Zephyr brand lighters carry a decent warranty and their quality is usually good, however I wouldn't recommend them.

I also bought some cheap $5+\- torch from a convenient store that does not get used at all really.

I started out with a Bernzomatic from Lowes. It's always my fall back but it is overkill for regular use.

The Vapman torch wins it for me. I have not had it long, but it is much more robust than the torch that comes from Triihouse. Sometimes I find that with the Daisy I need to hold the Daisy at an angle so that the torch flame is not pointing directly down otherwise the flame will go out. It lights every time and has plenty of range for flame size, more so than the Triihouse torch even. The range of the flame size can really affect how much heat you can create and how fast so this is very important IMO. Another really great thing about the Vapman is that you can see the fluid in the torch just like the Triihouse. In the Zephyr and Bernzo and many other torch's you cannot see how much fluid is in the torch. I hate not knowing if I am low or out of fluid in the torch.

I say get the Vapman and the Triihouse. You'll spend less than 30 but more than 15 and be very happy!

Cheap doesn't always mean poor quality. I hope no one took offense that I called them cheap.... I'm a cheap person.. I normally go straight for the cheap aisles lol... But I have been through quite a few cheap torches with minimal luck.

I wasn't downing the product by calling it cheap, just pointing out the obvious cheap price point.



Anyways... Got my lily, it came with a zico torch that seems to work well so far.

The lily is awesome. It took a little bit of playing around to get the feel for it, I combusted a couple times... But now I think I got it dialed in a bit better.

On demand, great tasting, portable... A winner in my book.


Only small complaint is the O rings keep coming off, falling out... I need to fix them before each use. I'll need to order spares as I know I'll eventually lose at least one of them.

But other than that I'm happy and in the honeymoon phase still. I'll continue to play and enjoy

Also ordered a FEW sets of O-rings. a couple spare mouth pieces, another heat intake, and the Trii torch. This way ill have spares for everything but the main unit itself.

Im enjoying the unit a lot, still combust occasionally... but its normally after a few bowls when i stop paying attention and forget its NOT a pipe LOL...

Took my Lily out of town on trips the last two weekends, she performed admirably. I am still amazed at how little material this thing uses and still puts out plenty of vapor. That is all... When I travel I take the Triihouse "power" torch, it's never given me problems, uses less fuel and fires more reliably, when at home I use a Jobon torch.

Yeah I got the zico torch that I think looks like an anteater and it came with my vapman from piu and the torch has an almost soft flame..so like an idiot I went and bought the same torch from my lhs and same result..almost candle flame like..or its really bushy flame...and it was 23 bucks.. Never had any luck with zico..only Chink in piu armor seems to be this crappy ass torch..lol..oh well

I've tried many torches and these are my favourite/most used for Lily & friends, you really need the angled neck for best performance as with the angle they are used on the straight versions tend to splutter or go out...

Bought for the novelty but I do really like it and the pokey bits are more useful than I thought they would be.

All of these are in the £2 - £20 range so not crazy prices, my Vapman torch is the most used and abused but even when it broke I just butchered a £2 torch for parts and it lives on, really the only way I can see any of these stop working is if they blow up or I break/snap something as everything else can be fixed easily.

Left my torch inside but took the lily to my shop. Was able to vape fine with my soft flame lighter. Granted it didn't work as good, OR as quickly... But it worked and I thought only a torch would work.

Good to know... My old boy lighter has never once let me down so when my torch does, I can use it until I get to another torch.


Oh.. The torch from trii does work better for me than the torch I got from piu also...

Are HNBR O-rings safe to use?

Just curious as I have an assortment of green ones...

What does HNBR stand for? The O-ring on the intake will need to be a high-temp one. The one on the mouthpiece won't matter.

I read the article and unless I missed it, it doesn't specify what temperature it is rated to. If it was me and I didn't have anything else I would probably use them until I got some standard high temp silicon ones to replace them.

Thanks fellas. I have plenty of the ones that come with the lily, as i ordered extras... But i like the green ones better, color wise, and they create a better seal. The standard o-ring on the mouth piece comes out with every use, sometimes just trying to lengthen the stem a little and it still comes out, but with the HNBR o rings, both glass pieces fit more securely.

Right now im using the HNBR on the mouthpiece end, and in the storage area for the heat tube thingy, but ill keep using the standard in the actual heat source area just in case it could release some off gases or something....

Does anyone else get that snap, crackle, pop on the first hit of a fresh load? At first thought was the glass cracking but once i realized what it actually was I've came to love that sound. For the most part it's been how I judge my first hit, but recently it hasn't been crackling I still get good hits but I don't think they're as good, though that could just be all in my head lol. Not to sure what I changed but I hope to figure it out soon so can get back to the sweet sweet snappin and cracklin I love so much

Try a fresh screen... Once I stop getting excellent hits on the first light I normally suspect the screen is the culprit... And it normally is. Even when it doesn't look too bad...a fresh screen still improves the taste and amount of vapor that comes through.

I torch my screen every day to clean it a bit, and switch to fresh screens pretty often.. Keeps it hitting and tasting like a champ.


Now I need to find some bulk screens, that are perfect size.

I've experienced the same thing. Most likely it's your herb that's different, not sure what. Moisture content maybe? I Do love that snap, crackle 'n' pop when it's happening too.

Triihouse website store is still "Closed for Maintenance". Here's hoping it comes back soon with a list of new toys.

I'm thinking you're right about it being the strain. I can't remember if stopped crackling when got this stash, but do know that stuff I have wont even vape right in the mighty. Comes out really greenish vaping at 400 for a good ten min compared to the dark brown, almost black I usually get. Did just change screen and clean air path on lily though and my goodness, I forgot she could hit so hard, Jesus. Straight punch to the head. Also when cleaning the airpath (the wood part) and area under the screen, I get this resin like stuff. Have three little balls of it from previous cleans, and wondering if there's a point to smoking it? I probably will try to whether there is or not just to see for myself, but there may be a better way to ingest it?

I actually tried vaping it again in Lily when I discovered quite aa sizeable black pebble after scraping out after having just loaded and taken a hit with no screen
Anyway it did work but tasted pretty poor (perhaps mostly from too many accidental combustions though?), sizeable cloud at first and ok effect as i got everything out of it, but I think just throwing it in with browns to cook later is a better use of it really unless desperate

Hello guys ... well had to order a Lily. I could not resist ...
However I wanted to know what you have received along with it. I received also a wood grinder, a series of screens, wax, glass intake, 2 orings, all within a small cardboard box. I have not received the torch or a stainless steel mouthpiece. I paid € 113.00 to refined-vices

O how I love thee, miss lily. Been messing around with her and finding that I love to use her as a one hitter. Usually I'd pack her to the top or just short of then tamp down, but for the past two days I've been just barely covering the screen. Not even fulling covering it and the result, one huge feel good cloud. Have to pack more often but no stirring, fresh hit each time and now she's become even more conservative with my bud, so I reiterate, O how I love thee, miss lily

And believe I received two periscopes, one flared one not, wax, screens, and the two o rings. I also received a free grinder in a nice pouch because got it from Puffitup. Believe my total was like 80ish or around there, can't exactly remember

Puffitup is sold out and the Triihouse site is down. Will I have to wait to order a Lily?
