All accessories are interchangable for all versions of the Haze except the mouthpiece stems and the Ed's WonG's. The V3 has a slightly smaller diameter in the mouthpiece channel so those two accessories are unique to either version.

Thanks Scott,

I was looking for the new style concentrate lids and cans. I sent my spares with my 2.5 exchange.

Super excited - mine just arrived. I'm now waiting for the batteries to charge "for 6 to 8 hours". If I leave them charging any longer than that is it bad, or will it automatically shut off?

Is there anything else I need to do? I've heard for some vaporizers, on first use you should max it out on empty to burn off any manufacturing mess?

Feels very sturdy, build quality seems excellent. Can't wait to try it out.

Please DO NOT do burnoff's with the Haze. There is no need the way these are made. A simple wipe down with some ISO is all you need. Excessive burn off's will damage the unit because there is no place for the heat to be transfered to.

Also you can start using the batteries as soon as they show full. No need to wait the 6-8 hours.

Enjoy and thanks for your business!

So I'm in the market for my first vapeorizer, and I wanted a really good one. So I did hours and hours of research and watched video after video of people reviewing the top rated portables.

I have concluded that the haze v3 is the best overall (for me). The 10 year warranty and trade in programs are nice, but what really sold me is Scott! I just joined this forum site and I wanna give a huge shout out to him! Scott it is refreshing to see someone who truly gives effort to go above and beyond to take care of customers. So yes I could go on about the attractive features of the vape like the batteries, or the vape quality etc., but I chose to just simply let the more experienced people (who actually have used it) talk about its quality and features. I just wanted to say Scott and his customer service sold me on it! I am going to order my Haze V3 in the next week or 2 and I will be recommending yalls company to many of my friends. Very impressive work sir.

And also thank you to everyone on this forum and site. Yall make it easy for newbies like me to get good honest info and opinions.

I should be receiving my V3 tomorrow or the following morning! Boys and girls, I cannot wait! I may have tweaked my back moving an air compressor and spent 20 hours yesterday without power or heat, and my girlfriend did roll her car yesterday with side airbag deployment. Luckily she is just sore but her car is almost certainly totaled.

Point is: September has been lousy, but @scottg402 and all the folks at Haze have been working with the quickness to make sure that I get to start October on a high note...see what I did there?

This crew is great and I am really looking forward to having a nice, relaxing session with my favorite portable! I dunno how Haze keeps making these rapid fire improvements to a device that has been solid from day 1, but they are cranking out solid improvements left and right. I am very happy to have hopped on the train early and seen every stop along the way!

I am planning to travel this winter to South Dakota to drop my girlfriend off at school and then to Kentucky to visit my folks. I'll be on about a 1 month vacation and although I have no idea if I'll be able to medicate during that trip (both are foreign soil to me), rest assured that the Haze will be by my side!

Hope everyone has a great night. My back is sore and I'm only 3 hours into my 12 hour shift, but my friend Scott has really made my day. Rest assured folks, you will hear my thoughts very soon after!

Holy jesus, this is incredible. This is my first real time using an electric vape (except for one drunken drag on a magic flight launch box). God damn, am I blunted - plus I feel as healthy as a kale leaf; no unpleasant smokers' wheeze.†

I filled up the herb can with some dry material, first using heat level 1 to get some flavour, and then increasing to 2 and 3 for more 'recreational' effects. I am stunned at the ease of use. Remember, I'm used to hunching over a crack-pipe-looking piece of glass with a torch lighter; always being ultra careful not to combust or smash the damn thing. In contrast, I feel like I could Haze at bedtime, one-handed with a book.

I was surprised at how hot it all got, but I suppose that's kind of the point. Do I need to open it up to let it cool off? It's just sitting there. currently, having been switched off. I took the steel stem out too. Should I clean it after each use? Is it best to wait for it to cool down before cleaning?

Anyways, I gotta rate this vaporizer at 11/10, even though my only basis for comparison is a test tube and a blowtorch. Solid build, very functional, delicious vapour, and simple to use. Also props for providing so much peripheral kit, I'm sure the extra battery will be most handy, I see this getting a lot of use.

I will recommend to all my friends (the ones with jobs anyway) that they should quit combusting and treat themselves and their lungs to a Haze V3. I love this new toy.

EDIT: This is alarmingly good. Gonna need more shit.

†Having sworn off smoking a while ago, my Vaponic had become dirty and clogged, and I was out of ISO. So I slipped back into a deplorable tobacco and herb joint smoking habit.

So glad you like it! Thanks for your feedback!

Yep, it gets hot. I find that many of my portables do but you will quickly become accustomed to how to hold your Haze to avoid any displeasure. I usually hold it in my right hand. I place my the tips of my fingers on the silicone grip side and arch my hand over the unit. The oven side rests in the bottom of my palm so I am making a bridge over the unit. You just have to play around a bit. You can also hold it with the silicone on only with your left hand and feel really no heat at all.
The easiest way to cool it down quickly after a session is to open the oven door. The heat is able to escape easily and you can handle it comfortably anyway you want within a short period of time.

If you are using the cans and want to swap them out for a back to back session you can use the tweezers to pull them out by the hooks. Run the cans under water to cool them off instantly or drop them on a heat resistant surface for a minute or two. After that you can handle them without any discomfort.

Thanks again for your feedback. Keep it coming!

Hey gang! Just spent some quality weeks with my Haze V3 and here is my take on it,. Whoever said that 2 bowls are better then one was absolutely correct! I find myself using the conduction screen the most. I tried the cans and they are great as well as the convection basket but for me personally the conduction screens have the least amount of metal so at higher temps it is a more productive and flavorfull experience. I tried it with oil in the can and WOO WEE :freak:, a little too much! :science: (I'll stick to the one hit pen!) but for a session oil/wax person or people for that matter this would do the job for you +++ ;) I usually carry a space case with like 2 grams worth of weed and it is simple to load both chambers quickly, then putting my fingers over the bowls I blow the area clean. :sherlock: This vape personally saves me 3 minutes of reloading per bowl and when you have a 15 min break that 20% time I save is more me time to chill opposed to work/load the bowl.:D I use the stainless MP because it adds an extra cooling factor to the experience for me.

Here is the other reason this vape has my Mighty taking an extended vacation!

1st chamber of a back to back session...

2nd chamber literally 1 minute later! Fastest 2-vape in the West, North, South, East?:brow:

@scottg402 I've found that the cans cool off nearly immediately. The steel material is just thin enough to allow for rapid heat reduction, but sturdy enough to where it doesn't feel like I can damage it easily (referring to cans/lids and screens. Silicone lids are going to wear out over time, so expect to buy more if you use them frequently.). I think running them under water would take longer (having to pull out the cans, rinse them dry them, etc), but then again I'm also in California and we're in a drought.

I also had two more points I wanted to make. The first is that if anyone is having trouble cleaning the mouthpiece but doesn't want to get their nice brush all gummed up you can use a cue-tip (cotton swab) to just shove it in there and it gets rid of all resin.

The second point is: my good lord does this thing efficiently use concentrates. I've been putting in less than .05 in the chamber and blasting that on level 3 and I got a solid 4 puffs out of it and on level 4 I got another 2 puffs. This unit surprises me in positive ways on a daily basis

@ShayWhiteGrow : Excellent review and vids! Thank you very much for that.

Received my Haze V3.0 today right on time with the tracking! Sincere thanks to @scottg402 for helping it get done!

I'm waiting until my usual bed time 'Hazing' before testing but during cleaning the new unit, I noted some things I like. Probably already mentioned, but the switch/chamber selector lever on top has a noticeable detent or "notch" near center. I like that a lot.

Likewise, it seems to me cleaning the 2.5 and 3.0 side by side that the hollow rivet where air exits the chamber into the air path has a shallower head on it so I expect that area will be easier to clean.

Much valuable info in this thread and thank you to all contributors for that!

I've read in here that the 3.0 can have a pretty tight O-ring where the mouthpiece slides into place that can sometimes go from too tight to too loose over time. From my car background dealing with O-rings, that suggests some things I've seen before. So I'm going to try a drop of hemp oil on the mouthpiece where the tip engages the O-ring at first until the O-ring becomes 'seasoned' (aka, starts to take a partial set) and see if that keeps things less tight at first and avoids looseness later.

I note that the surface of the glass mouthpiece is ultra smooth as we might expect. Whereas, the surface of the SS mouthpiece is - to my touch and IMHO only - a bit rough. So for the same reasons as the last paragraph (preserving the O-ring for a long wear life), I'm going to try polishing the SS mouthpiece up in grades somewhat. If that flops and things are immediately too loose, the cost is a new SS mp and no biggie. I'll report back if that seems ok or not. Yeah, I tinker with everything so that's the actual reason I suppose you've guessed. :D

I didn't mean to repeat what's already been said but the fiber reinforced plastic sure seems strong to me. Reminds me of some of the crazy strong fiber reinforced plastics in some of the high speed structural components for RC cars. I'm sure it's very different engineering from that owing to heat, vapor safety, etc. Just saying it seems very strong.

Because my v2.5 was a bit of a slowpoke, I'll time the new v3.0 and post some comparisons.

A sincere thank you to Scott, the Haze Family and the very many upbeat thread contributors! This has to be one of the most friendly threads in FC and it is surely appreciated here! :)

edit: A mere 30 seconds of buffing with 600# wet or dry sandpaper took the SS mp immediately up to an ultrafine finish. So the machining was very fine to begin with suggesting this work is unnecessary. Wash the mp, dry and oil lightly with a drop of hemp oil and it fits the O-ring perfectly IMO. It 'feels' just like the glass mp's fit in the O-ring so I expect little to no wear. I think the aersolized oil from the cannabis vapor will be plenty of oil for it from now on.

I don't recommend this yet. I'll post back after I've tried it for awhile and let you know if the idea flops or if I think it's actually worth anything.

I have to give it up for Scott again! He cut me a sweet deal on the OG lids I wanted. It's like having personal concierge service from Haze. I hope they know how awesome you are, Scott.

While I'm here, I wanted to remark on how this vape seems to completely and evenly extract the goods from the herbs, leaving the most spent ABV I've seen. I can only compare it to Pax and Ascent, both of which leave a gradient of green to brown in the bowl, necessitating a stir or two. It's a luxury to not have to do that. Haze is #1!

^I agree. The Vapir no2 was my go to, cheaper, simple, did it's job well enough for my needs, but you always had to stir the damn chamber. I haven't had to stir anything around in the v3 and that applies to both screens and the dry herb can. It Vaporizes everything so evenly

Agree with your agree. I have to stir my UD as well, but never the Haze, which is super convenient when out and about.
