I Don't dab but i hit my Evo through big and small!! Did You forget the mini recycler i bought from Doughboy with the large base and 18mm female joint?

Lol, EVERY piece i have is for my Evo! And my EVO or as some like to call it "EGO" also has an attachment an all glass concentrate insert. So i can use my Vape for dabs or flowers. So big and small rigs! Although I'm an avid flower guy, i have and do dabble in dabs!! Total of 3 dabs under my belt!! Right now I'm planning another steamroller, maybe i got to carried away with this water. The steamroller is Weird yet Mad Science with its power

so i message him at mike@distilledartglass.com ?? ive been his works, some at auction sells at 105, but the bin is 150. what would the price if i were to ask him for a custom one? what does he do to the work to make it custom?

Yes that is how you can contact him.

The price depends on what you want. Simple recyclers are around $150-$180. Kline around $200. Double recyclee around $250-300. This are average prices for all clear glass from what I have ordered.

A custom order is whatever you want him to make (that is in his skill set). You can specify height, color, design, perc style, etc!

Got my piece in and it works like a dream. Been hitting it constantly since it got here but I seem to be having one issue, the 10mm nail heats so fast I have a really hard time getting it to heat and not beig too hot so the dab is gross or I let it stop too cool and waste dabs that way.

I'm planning to get a 5-6" klein with a 14mm male joint pretty soon. Can someone give me a ballpark price and how I would go about this? I don't know his email even. And how thick are these little kleins?

Yeah I guess everyone did considering how far this thread fell. I wonder why. I've never had trouble getting a response from him, and I don't think i've seen work of his quality anywhere even close to what he charges. Anything close is 2-4x as expensive. Strange.

I don't find it that strange. FC is collectively a strong group of consumers and customers. I think persons here often want to work with a company or blower that is part of this community and is going to continue to service us. DG just was not fulfilling nor communicating to the best of his ability and buyers start looking local, or to the gazillion other instagram glass blowers, or to friends of FC like Ed or Joda.

I do find it strange though for the above mentioned reasons. I'm not here to fight though so i'm not going to bother getting into this any further. I don't care that much.

Mike made the nail as well. Function is flawless, and I love the way the color pops. Only little gripe and it's more of an aesthetic thing is the fact that the joint and return on the drain don't line up perfectly. No affect on the function though so no real complaints.

Here's a nice little klein family shot as well:

@IWAW I'm digging the Klein family you having going there. Very nice! I picked up a Distilled piece a while ago, and I have to agree the quality is very nice for a great price.

The drain and uptake both seem huge, does it seem the purple one moves more water because of it?

They look big and they're definitely a bit thicker than the blue stardust, but they really aren't that much bigger. I think the perspective is thrown off because of how small the uptake and drain on the other two are.

I don't know if it's necessarily the bigger drain or uptake, but it definitely moves more water. The vortex starts to form with greater ease than the other two. Not that it's hard to create one with the others.

I have a AWESOME piece I just commissioned to be made by Mike! It should be completed by the weekend and I'll post pics then.
I have to say Mike has to be one of the most reasonably priced and affordable Glass Blowers in his field and league. His work is some of the best I've seen and own. His intricacies and perfection to symmetry are unparalleled. Mike in my opinion is one of the most underrated blowers in the game, and his talent continues to grow.
