Is the Vapexhale website working.
I can ONLY SEE the Evolver Hydratree......
Are the other HTs available and would Flash30 code give one 30% off on them ????
The main site is working fine. Did you try going to it or did you click the link in the email? The link in the email appears to be a special promo page and does not link to the main site unless you click on the buy now links.

As far as Flash30 working on others, I don't think so... but try if you want. If it works, then it works. If not, get a hydratree.

Yeah the flash 30 only works on the hydra tree.. and I just ordered one for myself. Deal was too good to pass up hehe
I feel like vapexhale is hoarding a bunch of older style ht's. They bring back one like the hydra tree and say once it's gone it's gone but then being it back a few days later.. I wish they would bring back some more.. like the hydra circ 2.0. Anyways can't wait to try it out on Friday. Vapexhale makes it so hard on my VAS and GAS simultaneously..

My Evo has taken on a gross stale flavor lately and seems like its running hot. Has anyone ran into something similar?

check the bamboo for cracks. if its not airtight anymore, you have a crack and need to send it in for service most likely. similar thing happened to mine... was a heater issue so they covered it.

Makes me think why most bamboo 's break...excessive heat from a heater that's messed up or accidentally dropping ,tipping over etc.

Btw has anyone gotten a hydra tree from the recent batch they put on the website ?opinions/reviews ?

Early on, VXH had an issue with the EVO's heater getting too hot, which resulted in cracked glass. That's what happened to my first unit. But since those initial units, I haven't heard of that being a common problem. Dropping the EVO would definitely do it.

And I have the hydrabomb. It's a great piece for the EVO. Smooth, little drag, and produces huge hits.

I'd love that Evolver Hydratree but I can't afford it right now, imo the best one ever made. It'd be silly not to buy it if you're interested & you've got the cash.

I received my unit but I'm not very satisfied.
I had 2 small bowls with it yesterday and first one showed uneven extraction, some green herb while some was almost black.
Second bowl had a burnt taste, totally black Abv this time, and the thing is worrying because it was set to 1 o'clock not max temperature.
I'll do some more tests today but I think it's overheating. And yes it whistles like a teapot if pulling too hard.
I only found the Hydra tube and no standard mouthpiece, is it normal?

Yes, no dry mouthpiece if ordering with a hydratube :(
I double checked before I ordered and was a little disappointed to hear I would have to order a dry mouthpiece separately.
The hydratubes should just be added on to the base package imho.

Have you checked the bamboo is airtight?
How much are you putting in the ELB's?
I sometimes stir the load and try it again.
Yesterday I started using the smaller ELB I made more with the dial set at around 2 o'clock and getting pretty good hits and extraction.

With the longer, full size ELB's, I have to keep the dial below 1 o'clock. usually around 12 to 12:30

I'm definitely still getting used to this vape and seem to be getting better results now after a few days :)

I didn't pack it at all, just 2 small bowls. Just a little bit more of what could fit in the smaller bowl/screen you put on top of the Elb (one of them was collapsed like yours..). Can I use that small bowls on themselves? With a screen on top?

:drool:Wow...discovered the devastator courtesy of @t-dub
Is there anywhere these are still sold. It looks like just what I want. And the downstems are removable!
I want

@MichaelCompton I don't think so, it's been a long time since they were made.
You should look at the hydrabase which is imo a better currently made alternative.
It's percs are not detachable, but imo that's a good thing as it has less moving parts so its more solid - you can't accidentally pull out the perc with the Cloud when you clear.
There were not any various percs for the devastator anyway. Only advantage i can see for deatachable perc is availability for physical cleaning and possible partial replacability.
One of the advantages is the switched input/output position on the hydrabase compared to the devastator.
On the devastator you put a Cloud on the center and a mouthpiece/hydratubes on the side. That was good for the heavy OG Cloud and light hydratubes or a mouthpiece. But the current EVO is very light and current hydratubes heavier. So the weight is distributed much better on the hydrabase. The devastaror could tip over very easily with the current stuff. The hydrabase is also a good hydrafoot, you can story your HT on top of it with a great stability.

It sounds like the glass bamboo on your unit is broken. Newer units also don't have to be cut up Past 11o'clock, but even you do cut it up the Herb shouldn't be burnt

I keep forgetting to ask...
Can anyone tell me what it means if the green led flashes rapidly please?

I've had the green/red flashing to tell me it's auto turned off and I can flick the switch off and on again to continue.

But I've also had rapid green flashing a couple of times and had to turn the unit off for a few mins before it would switch on again without the green led flashing.

If this problem should occur again, set the dial to noon 12o'clock and toggle the switch on and off repeatedly four or five times to reset the unit to factory settings!

I'm confused by what you mean by this. What do you mean you "didn't pack it at all, just 2 small bowls"? You're putting the herb in the ELB, correct?

Burnt herb is definitely not normal. From the sound of it, it's possible your bamboo (glass center piece) might be broken. You need to test to see if it's air tight.

When the EVO is cool, plug the bottom with your finger while blowing in the top. It should be air tight. If you have any air leaking, something's wrong with your bamboo which is causing the issues you're having. If that's the case, no worries. VXL will take care of you.

A broken bamboo is the only thing that should cause burnt herbs. Hope you get it working soon!

I have some arizer Q bowls since they fit the minivap too.
It would be sad but if this is the Evo, I think I'd be better served with a Volcano or a Mighty.

I meant that if I overpacked the ELB it could be my fault: herb could have been unevenly extracted because of overpacking it.
This was not the case as I loaded just a 0,08 g. more or less.

Trust me your not getting the full EVO experience. I would contact support and send it in.

Have you checked the bamboo is airtight with no cracks?
Have you tried lower dial settings? As these are analogue controls, they may not all be calibrated *exactly* the same
I mentioned it before, but when using the long ELB's I keep the dial at 12:30 or below.

How long was your unit on for before you used it?
If I use my EVO before it heatsoaks, the extraction is nowhere near as efficient.
But my ABV can come out looking almost as dark as instant coffee granules after the EVO heatsoaks for a few minutes more

This sound exactly like what my unit is doing. And I believe it's an overheat cooldown exception. Rarely my unit goes into this state randomly and needs a restart.
When I turn the unit off and on when it's heated over 2pm it goes directly into blinking green on startup until the temp goes down below 2pm. Then it can start again.
This preventive overheat shutoff is quite sensitive on my unit. Does your unit also go blinking green when you restart it on these temps?
A broken bamboo is the only thing that should cause burnt herbs. Hope you get it working soon!
It's not, you can also ignite your bowl if you hit is SUPER SLOWLY for a while on a high temp (in my case I need the EVO nicely heated over 2pm and pull super slowly for 15 seconds and I get a bong hit)
But that is also a rare occurence, nobody pull on it that slowly unless the ELB is packed with force.
Other than that if the EVO burns a part of the bowl and leaves the rest green on normal usage that points to a broken bamboo.

If the green led is blinking rapidly, I've turned the unit off, waited a couple mins and switched it back on. It then shows a red led and heats up again.
When it first happened, I tried turning it off and then on again straight away, but just got a blinking green LED again.

The dial was set around 2-2:30 when it happened.

I don't think it mattered where the dial was positioned when switching it back on  but it's only happened a couple of times so I haven't played around much.

This is just like I described, the unit still think it's too hot to operate so it goes right back to the exception on start.

Yes, because it cooled down.

This is also like my unit, as I've said this happens above 2pm.

No, it's not the dial that matters, it's the actual temperature that the sensor inside is reading. If its above what a 2pm dial would heat up to, then it will blink green.

I guess that's technically true, but don't think it's the case with the OP. They weren't getting any real hits, which would have happened in your case.

They also describe uneven extraction with some burned parts. That's exactly what happened with mine when I broke the bamboo. If there was any sort of ignition like you're describing, everything would have been evenly extracted already.

Having said that, I've actually tried to combust in my EVO before, just to see if I could. I was never able to even with a fully heatsoaked unit above 3 on the dial. Not saying it's impossible, but you'd have to really be trying to.

@justcametomind have you checked to see if your bamboo is air tight yet? We're at an impasse until you do.

Well, I think I hit THAT slow because I'm happy to say that my bamboo it's still in one piece. Of course I hit it without waiting it to be heatsoaked and maybe tamped down a little with the flat back of a dabbing tool. I repeated with a tiny bowl just now. If the heater was too hot I'd have combusted, but still no scorching at noon, I'll let you know what happens later. Big thanks to all the fellow Clouders.
