One of the main differences between a grasshopper and any other vape is the lack of wires in the implementation of the vaporizer. The body is the carrier for the power between the battery and the heater, it was explained in the main indiegogo page I believe. So it shouldn't be shocking that when you touch your tounge, which is the perfect condition to transfer an electrical current there it isn't shocking to hear you would feel a tingle. The trade off of no wires is the current runes through the body which is why in some units heat is reported in back end. Heat is energy and any passive heat that is being transferred to the back end of the unit instead of the heater would add a drain on the overall energy consumption.@CE24 my friend you should never get shocked by any electrical equipment especially a vaporizer. If you are feeling a shock to your tongue however so slight it may be, there is a definitely a serious problem.
I personally would never use a vaporizer that shocked me when I hit it. You have to see the problem with this....this is not acceptable to me.
Would you use your cell phone if it shocked you when you were using it?
Just my
This would explain why replacement of the body would stop heat issues; it may have something to do with the tolerance between the body of the grasshopper and the battery or the fit with backend and body. Just a theory with the information I have read in these threads.
