So 7.4v dual coil is now my daily. Holy fuck, forget dabbing this is just as good.
Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

The single and dual AC carts are able to handle both 3.7 and 7.4 it's the 1701 you need a specific one for 7.4

For the 1701 are you using the black ceramic wick?
Yes, it just seems to still splash quite a bit, all the time. More so than my dual coil even, and that will bring a dab to a damn boil...
Load below the black ceramic wick and a little on top, that should be all that's needed, most of it should be below the black ceramic wick.
Also pulse with the 7.4v dual coils this will help on reducing splatter.
We are working on deeper bowls for the coils as we speak.

Try loading less? When i was using the donut i found loading a ridiculously tiny amount worked great... but had to keep reloading. I havent gotten to a 7.4 donut yet but all in good time.

Hmmmm, the dual battery one might be less pocket friendly, but it looks like it'd be nicer to hold. Better grip and more comfortable.

I suggest loading the 1701 by taking the wick out when the cart is warm, it will slide out easily.
Then load your concentrate by placing small amounts either directly on the ceramic heater, or if its an oil you can wipe it onto the wick directly and then put it into the cart. Doing this ensures the extract is in direct contact with the extracts and will vaporize with the least heat applied.
Second suggestion is to apply power and use a very light sip to minimize splatter. Pulling harder = increased mess! Use pulses after good vapor is achieved, don't hold the button for long at 7.4

Those look so amazing. I can't wait!
Any rough idea on price? Are we talking somewhere in the $100-200 range?
Hoping these make it to market by early next year. Can't wait to order one (or both!).
It should be here by March the latest if all goes well by December. Maybe even earlier.
As for price we won't know for sure but it will be a bare bones system and maybe a package deal with Hercules or something else.
We shall see when time comes.

Nice, I was dreading the post where I found out how long I'd have to wait. December seems like a great month for it. Of course earlier is better. Way, way better.

AHHH don't say that!; lol even if just jokingly I was actually thinking about picking up the Hercules with the 510 adapter today... I'd hate to put $70 bucks into it if a new/improved one is within months away.
No new Hercules on horizon.
Order just placed, I loved the AC so much still continue to use it so I'd figure I'd try out the Herc talking with you via PM and reading peoples opinions on it made me jump!
Also sorry for the ignorant sounding question but what exactly does the "HERCULES SR-74X UPGRADE" kit do and is it a necessity?
The sr74x upgrade kit is not needed unless you had an older sr74 it's a new set of chambers with a smaller upper chamber designed for one titanium coil and it also includes a non threaded top cap

Just remember to cool t down after your session, remember that the Hercules works differently then other type of carts and you need to modify your technique for it.
Also don't remember the question but like to say that there is no ignorant questions, all are legitimate and it's our duty to answer.
Great looking forward to testing it out I have two different mods I can try it on; Hopefully it get's here quickly but like I said I've loved the AC since I've been using it everything even down to the packaging says quality... I just may need to get some replacement donut coil soon as that is the one that gets the most use from me.
My single coil is burnt out I believe and the dual is real nice it's just the outside is so wide when the metal cap gets reclaim in the inner tube it just gets all over the outside of the dual coil atomizer.
