Alfa Vaporizer by goboof

I have some MFLB stems coming. Am curious to see if they make for a nice home experience. Don't think I'd drag it along for an outing, though. Not in Texas!
Using the mouthpiece reversed or not and you can use different stem diameter. A small piece of silicone and you can do even more !
I tried larger diameter stem (logvape) and the vaporflow was better (easier for me) and smoother on mid temp. Finer stem works well too.
Finding a "mini" stem like those tip on ecigs might help with the warmer feeling and the tiny mouhtpiece while not being to "obvious", I imagine it tiny enough to be stashed under mouthpiece.

Hey guys I've ran into a problem. I've had the Alfa since April and it's been working fine but now I have a solid constant orange light that is lit up. I tried charging it, and doing everything but this light stays on. It won't heat up or even turn on, it's just an orange light that won't go away.

Anyone else have this problem? I'll email them but I want to know if there's a fix or if my unit is donezo.

@vapesesh, sorry to hear that man... maybe it's a battery related issue... some pages ago i read about some units with a software malfunction... but that was in first models, if you got it in april it must have been an updated unit... write them, you still are on warranty ;) i wanted to say that i am enjoying my Alfa more and more every day! i have the feeling now battery lasts longer and requires less time to charge, i don't know if that's possible. :) i am getting used to the cleaning habits, and enjoying it. i found the right draw (for me)... the first couple of hits on medium (i am now skipping low many times) are fantastic, comparable with my plenty. i took time to read most pages in this thread... many useful tips! i will find a loading container, looks convenient. but most of all i have discovered the pleasures of using the alfa with a glass water tool! what was i missing! :D i have a small oil bong i use for dabbing. it has a 14mm insert and the alfa mouthpiece can easily (with a little pressure) fit (you have to hold it while inhaling obvsiously)... it's heavenly! when home i finish all sessions on hi using the glass ;) i gotta get one of those water tool for pinnacle, thanks
@joekickass! the sandwich tech works but at the end of the day i prefer to use just one screen at the bottom of the chamber... and i'm happy to say that because using the second screen was kinda painintheassish :) i think i was packing to tight... happy vaping fellows, J

Hi all, I recently picked up an afla from a member on the forums @Justpassedu and I love it. I'm coming from the arizer solo. I have to say the beta male (arizer solo) got nothing on this alfa male. Clouds production, stealth, battery life, and portability.

A few trick I learned.

When the alfa is still warm and switched to the off position a blow from the mouth piece will clear out the oven and also the mouth piece makes a good packing tool.

Glad your enjoying it @BeEazy , you actually found a few tricks i never tried myself. I liked the Alfa allot , it was just time to move on being my girl got me the pax 2 ( kinda like the alfa better ) , i also have a grasshopper on preorder and i just grabbed a Mighty. That Mighty puts most vapes with batteries to shame , it can really blow some dense clouds. Its kinda like a bigger alfa just produces more vapor. I like that idea above of using the arizer air mp but it is plastic so i don't see a major benefit compared to stock but what i seen a few people do is buy the magic flight launch box glass straw/mp and put that in the Alfa's mp for some cool airflow.

The mighty is a nice vape. I had my eye on one before the alfa. I went with the alfa because of the size/price of the mighty. $400 is to much for a portable vape imo. I like the mighty herb filling tool, the adjustable digital temperature(remind me of the No2) but those two things wasn't enough to make me cough up the extra $$$. @Justpassedu I'm beyond satisfied with the alfa, I'm hating myself for over looking it all this time. lol

The grasshopper is the definition of stealth, that's one cool vape.

I have to try that stem method compared to most vapes I had the alfa is on the cool side. I curious to know if the arizer air MP makes any difference

I got mine from a local member that had it replaced under warranty so it was like new and with a few trades and meeting up , it didn't cost me much & was something i always wanted to try. If i had to buy it new at $400 to be honest i wouldn't spend that kind of money. It is a heavy hitter though and that is just what i needed in my portable lineup so i am happy. As for the AlfA i am not sure how the air mp works , i actually never thought of using mine when i had it and my air. I did however try the alfa with a hydro tube and really liked it. If you turn the mp over on the Alfa it will mate with 14mm glass which is nice. The hydro tube cooled the vapor nicely.

Im sold on the alfa. A local shop here is having a 42% off sale tomorrow. This store retails the alfa for $300 CAD and with the 42% off, comes to roughly $175 CAD. The unit is an "old" model, which i believe means it doesnt have the usb and only the AC charger. My question to you all is:

do you know if there is any other difference in these newer or older models? i hear the older models may not have a screen with the hole in it and instead youre supposed to put the screen near the silicone mouthpiece? Is reliability and function the same?

thoughts? would you buy an brand new "older" unit for about $50 CAD cheaper? $175 CAD instead of $225

Let me know how you like the mighty when you pick it up!

I have a hydro tube, I would pair it with the alfa and give it a few rounds. Thanks again for the awesome vape

Yw , I have had for a few weeks now. So far it has been really nice. It is a portable that kinda hits like a good desktop and its strong , it can put you on your ass. It also doesn't get as long as a session as the Alfa and its much bigger. Prob uses around the same amount of material if not less & it's easy to load. I don't really see my self traveling with it due to the size compared to my other portables . Plan on trying it through some water soon also. I prob get about 12-15 good hits off a session . I heard you get more once it gets a bit dirty also , the resin builds up and adds to the session .

I hope your alphas in the future don't break down because it took them a month and a half to send me a new one. good luck

My Alfa went through a warranty claim this month, too. It took less than two weeks from the day I sent it out to have a new one at my door. Just got it on Monday. This is in the US. I'm not sure why it would have taken them so long on yours, con2010.

I thought the Alfa was made in Canada? But I'm not sure. Shipping from Ireland seems a bit weird! Maybe they wanted to infuse it with fairy dust?

All of my process was handled domestically. I sent it to Seattle and the new unit shipped from Las Vegas. Did you not get any tracking info, either?

my unit was sent out from seattle but it took them a month and a half to send it back to me that's why I thought it came from ireland first

well it least its working fine now. I was using the crafty until the alpha came back. the crafty to me is the best for taste and clouds. I'm also waiting for the grasshopper

as I posted earlier you can buy 2 alphas from china for 102. http://www.dhgate.com/product/e-cigarette-dry-herb-alfa-ninja2-goboof-hot/245461023.htmlhtmls.

I don't see the name Alfa on them. I see Ninja . Can you confirm these are exactly the same as a alfa? Do you know what materials are used in this vape . Could have harmful plastics or who knows in the air path. I would not go telling anyone this is a Alfa , the price looks good but it can be junk like most of the inexpensive chinese vapes i have tried. Also no double posts allowed or even triple posts , just a heads up. Please buy this Ninja and report back for us , id like to know what they are making these with and if they are actually Alfa's which i am sure they are not.

Hey all!
Totally new here. Actually---the only experience I have with vaping is about ten years ago I got one of those glass bong-things that you hooked up to an industrial heat gun--it worked well but was a PITA. It broke and that was that.
I just bought an Alfa. Should be here in a few days. I apologize for my impatience--I know that all of the answers to my questions are buried somewhere here.
My throat and lungs are pretty sensitive to heat. I want to get a small whip to hook up when I'm out and about---or maybe something else---that would at least bring the temp down. Not particularly stealthy but better than bringing a water attachment. Any ideas?
Also---for home use---I was thinking of getting a cheaper Hydrotube---like one I saw on Ebay for around $30. Does it really work ok with the mouthpiece reversed?
I just ordered an Arizer mouthpiece as shown above.Figured I'd give it a try. Do the 14mm glass things fit directly on that or is the reversed mouthpiece better. Also considering some kind of whip or adapter for a Hydrotube or whatnot.
Total newbie here---any advice is appreciated!
