Yeah, its a gamble, they're all different, but typically still useable to some degree

Another issue being with the conversion rate zion 4 batts and a charger puts me around $500aud and I can pick up an Evo $600 locally new. However $600 + 500 = $1100 when I buy an Evo and still eventually need a zion. Where as I think I just might be able to get a Zion and shelve the Evo idea for a while... Bit to think about!

Can't take an evo with you. FWIW I sold my evo and went back to using log vapes at home, specifically underdog. I found it more enjoyable reliable and of course better value.

Okay one last annoying question, anyone with a cloud this is what I can't wrap my head around. With the cloud, am I paying for performance harder hitting then the Zion? Or similar/smaller clouds but all the technical bells and whistles that I don't greatly care for?
Or with the Zion am I paying for amazing performance relative to the size or can I fully expect cloud Evo clouds out of this thing?

Basically cloud vs Zion purely on cloud blowing ability, which wins? All things considered.

With the Zion the only bells and whistles will be between your ears, usually followed by buckling of the knees. Sitting during use is recommended until you learn the boundaries. I can only comment on the Zion as I've never tried a cloud. I'm a vape newb.

I can french inhale and blow vapor rings from lung exhaust (as opposed to mouth/cheeking it) from the same hit. In fact I'll do it right now to show you, hang on....

Some will work ok and some will not. I have one adapter with an ISO that is close enough that it works ok, and 2 others that will not seal well enough to function. I don't have anything that will cut glass safely, but if you did, removing 4mm (then annealing the end) would probably make any ISO joint work. Mike tried that on the first adapters he sent me and they did fit correctly after that, but I wanted to use the dome screens with them and they wouldn't fit in the cut joint (as the inside diameter was ISO sized). They fit fine in a proper US joint which he uses now when asked.

Ah, so is it actually a 4mm difference in the length between ISO and US? I think it's a definite possibility that the ones I just got will actually work then, as they seem to be only about 2mm longer than the US adaptor that I also have. I suppose I'm just going to need to wait until I get my unit and hopefully at least one or two of them will work properly.

This vape looks very interesting, wood makes me happy(so to speak). I'd be all in on the single battery unit, as I'm looking for something more pocket able. I have a preorder for a grasshopper thats supposedly for December but I might have to jump on this if it releases first.

Anyone got any info on shipping? Last checked the website and says USA only fill in form for international orders, but don't actually know if international orders will be received noted and shipped with the same first production runs? Because I'll happily wait for international shipping for even for a single bat with international.

Ah thank you dude, but my apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this one - it appears 12oz cans aren't actually that common 'round these parts. Let's just say I had to go on a little bit of a mish . . . . . :sherlock:

So with regards to stashing this little monster about your person - I have found that Zion is, for me, certainly coat-pocketable. And even baggy-style shorts or pants pocketable. But he definitely ain't gonna fit in your 501's without causing a scene!

Anyway, surprise surprise! Once again I got carried away with the snaps :rolleyes: . . . . (he jus so purrrdy) . . . . but it should at least give you a reasonable idea . . . .

Good pics, as usual VnV, thanks. And a 12oz can is a good relative size comparison for Zion I think. She's a little bigger, but close enough for approximation.

I also find it entertaining that after being a pop drinker most of my life, I can't find 1 12oz can, empty or full, in my place. Things certainly change...

I'm actually getting anxious about this vaporizer. So excited I'm anxious and feel like buds aren't worth it until it arrives, well on the go that is. At home the underdog will be there for me ALWAYS, so the zion is exactly what my collection needs. The mighty just sits in the box now. I use the firefly but it doesn't pack enough ooomph lately. Prob needs new battery.... I've been using more oil than ever between the drought of QUALITY buds around here, and the knowledge that I want to vape with full convection only. I need a zion in my life, then I can wait patiently for the single battery unit, and actually start using buds again.

I was going to be happy with just a Grasshopper, but there's no way I'm waiting until Dec (at the earliest). Just placed my order, even happier that I got it for this price AND the insurance of the lifetime warranty.

Question, is this shipping early October? Will I be placed on some backlog and have to wait longer because I just preordered?

I guess it comes down to, when are they going to start shipping and have they made enough to fulfill the preorders?

Shipping starts on October 3rd if I recall, and I would assume starts going down the line from there.

edit, I dunno, maybe I am imagining that. The website just says October, so I guess that means anytime from the 1st through 31st of October, these will start shipping out :(
