oh how i love getting an e-mail titled Resolved Ticket.

i guess that is the only response i'm getting

Shouldn't be unless you have not received the responses. Pm me your ticket number or Sam. He handles the tickets.

@Fredster951 battery config is still up in the air but we are going towards single 18650, 2 x 18650 would be too wide.

Not only for the Herc.

Will there be some kind of adapter so I can use 510 and 610 attys? And would it be asking too much for some kind of ceramic oven type, dry herb atty, one with a steady heat supply? It'd be really cool if you could take the top part off of an Arizer Air and make an atty out of that, or at least something similar.

What kind of power source does it run off? Single, or double batteries? I'm guessing something around an 18650.

This will be designed specifically for our Hercules, Kiss AC and the Kiss Gen 3. Nothing else nothing more.

If we can make our original Universe cart for it we will, but we wont modify the current design to make it all work.

Excellent, I was looking at it wondering how that would work.

Maybe an insert for where the herc normally goes. Maybe in that little flip up part. I figured that was for the battery though.

Hercules screws out and the Kiss AC screws in or the Kiss Gen 3. No other cartridge will be considered when making this.

What's your ticket number? Tickets are closed for 3 reasons -

1. Problem's been worked through: question answered, device repaired and returned to you, etc.

2. 5 or more days have passed since the last response to the ticket, in which case I'll close it due to inactivity. Sometimes people reply to emails sent from support@livehelpnow.com and since they didn't actually respond to the ticket the next email they get is a ticket closure due to inactivity. This one's really easy to fix: Just add a comment to the ticket, it will bump to the top of my queue, and we can move on to the next step.

3. I made a mistake and erroneously closed a ticket that's unresolved. In this case, it's just as easy to fix: Just click the link in the email, Add a Comment to the ticket letting me know I messed up and you still need help. The ticket will bump to the top of my queue and we'll be back in touch.

Please provide me your FC username along with the response to the ticket.

I had trouble through the ticket system only sending resolved emails. I just pestered sam and g through pms and i was happy with the results. How much they appreciate my business after said pestering, well....

We appreciate everyone, no one has caused me to throw my desktop/laptop/iPad/iphone/iPod to the ground. Not yet anyways but that's why we are here to help. some do escape through the cracks but we are here well mostly me 24/7 Sam is not an alien and needs his sleep.

Yes it is

Not sure what you mean by tinker free, you still have to adjust settings for each cartridge.

Not only for the Herc.
The choice to put the connector near the bottom is genius (at least in the case of the Hercules). Can't wait to see how it works with my KISS AC, as well. Also super pleased that it's 601 only, as everything I own that is 510 is garbage (or at least inferior to the AC). Good lookin out, that looks like it will fix a lot of my qualms with the Persei. I assume this is the 3.7v version, so I'm still eagerly awaiting pix of the 7.4v version (dual coil and normal herc rod FTW!!).

Also, I think the "tinker-free" remark was aimed at the 8 and its need for regular manual adjustment.

Voltages don't matter anymore, it's about power being applied.

Once final prototype is done we will be doing stress tests and then production it goes.

I own the 8 and hercules attachment. Can someone explain what this new device being discussed is? What task does it accomplish? What is the reason to upgrade? Thanks in advance.

I know it's not being designed for them, but I'm betting an eo cart would be long enough to work still. Gen 2 kiss carts are probably to short. It'll be a good excuse to bust out all my old stuff and test it. For science.

I imagine with a custom drip tip the possibilities are endless.
EO with a custom tip sounds sweet.

I second this question.

Is this a temp-control device?

This is a new device specifically made for the Hercules so it can shorten its length down. This device will feature variable wattage and temperature control.

Max 50 watts and still trying to finalize temperature range.

Since the Hercules requires 30 matts max we don't see a need to go 100 watt or even 200.

The options and specs are not finalized but it will be soon.

Great, thanks. From your reply, it sounds like it is made for the hercules only. Can you clarify how this is used with a gen 3 cart, or alpha centauri attachments?

It is made for the Hercules specifically, it will how ever be able to run the Kiss Gen 3 and the Kiss AC. These three cartridges is all being taken into consideration when developing this.

So, new box shortens with wattage control and you mentioned slight advantage to .8 rod. Is that advantage we will be able to run .8 with 7.4v setup with the dialable wattage?
