@Philreal187, hell yeah man! When I bought it from you, the Zion was not even a known entity yet. I had planned to use it with the Solo, but it just didn't jibe well. It sat on my shelf for a bit and then...lo and behold...the perfect match came together. And the gods smiled upon me. lol. So glad I picked that up from you when I did.

Its a shame about shits situation for sure.
If not for user error there would be no faults that I'm aware of with this heater set up. Damn.
What the Zion doesn't have is a "household brand" name. What it does have is performance. I've had to use my back ups while my Zion bowl is being replaced and ALL of them lack in 1 area or another. I do not have these feelings while I'm using my Zion. It's always a great experience. It's as if RBT took all my complaints about all my portables and addressed those and improved on them.

Hi, I ordered this mouthpiece, and noted in the "notes" section on the order to please cut the joint to fit the Zion.

I don't know much about the various sizing standards of glassware... that is why I emailed OGB in advance and followed his directions. I do have an 18mm Luke Wilson bubbler that I would also like to fit the Zion onto at some point, but for now I just like the idea of a longer, more friendly mouthpiece for those friends who are not as used to vaping.

EDIT: I am assuming Mike wouldn't mind if I just post what he sent to me:

"Hey there. No problem i can make you 18mm male with the shorter taper. just go ahead and purchase then leave a message about the custom. Price will be the same. Thanks,Mike-OGB."

^^^ indeed helps provide confidence that the consumer is getting a great product from a company that genuinely cares. Debating myself over purchasing this and listing my mighty up for sale due to some recent customer service concerns that have arose with s&b. So yea customer service can definitely effect the end result of a product no matter how good it is and it makes me happy to see you guys have been providing great updates, above and beyond customer service and actually listening to the people.

18.8mm, but Zion is US vs ISO. Been discussed several times how anything ISO will be a crap shoot for fit. Thanks to @cybrguy we know this and OGB knows to make one end US for Zions

And yes, a small company that actually cares, truly bringing customers in at the ground floor with pre order perks. Not only should any warranty processing go extremely smooth (all American for one thing...), the simplicity of the design and materials should render the production units beyond durable so most will never even need to experience the cs glory

Just put in my order for a Zion. I was dead set on getting a Mighty, but after all the poor customer service people have been experiencing from the manufacturer (including my own experience) I decided it probably wasn't for me. RBT seems to actually stand behind the product they make and I like that.

This should go along nicely with my single battery 18650 when it is eventually made :)

I feel terribly for @Shit Snacks . I have gotten SO used to having Venus at my beck and call that having to do without her for any significant time would be great hardship. I have other good vapes, but they are poor substitutes.
But I must say, ZIGGY IS NOT DEAD! He is only injured and when RBT can take a break from building the first fleet of production units ZIGGY WILL RISE FROM THE ASHES LIKE THE PHOENIX HE IS!!! He will return to the loving arms and fingers of the man called shit <g> and go back to satisfying those needs that he satisfies so well, with all the power and punch that he always had.
So, worry not for Ziggy's mortal existence or for Shit's essential and appreciated ability to Zionate. They are merely dented and delayed. They WILL return, with GUSTO! Promise.

Sadness for the delay is of course appropriate and appreciated... ;)

ya, that's what I meant. Zion is US size as well as the joints/stems from Mike. So there's no need to customize the end... That was my approach to say :)

Well, no, I think OGB's standard joint is the ISO, not the US standard. The first M2M's I ordered from him came in the ISO standard and did not fit. Mike was GREAT about resolving that problem as I described in his thread, but the ones that came without a special request came in the wrong size for the Zion. So you DO need to tell him you are using your glass in the Zion or to use the US joint. It's not a problem as long as he knows.

BTW, the difference in the 2 joints is only the length. The taper is the same, and that is why the US male will work fine in an ISO female. The US male is 4mm shorter than the ISO male. The only reason this is a problem for the Zion is that the Zion joint terminates at the heater screen and a joint too long sticks out and may not seal.
