THC, I meant to say something about your Sumo when I saw it. Very, very nice. :D

NYC, I know what you mean about the Black Locust. They're something special. ;)

Got an email from Rick saying my piece was headed back home yesterday, said it looks even nice than the first time I laid eyes on it. Still has the bark, he sleeked out the woodgrain showing through the center, and finished with skilled hand, freaking can't to have her home soon! Thanks Rick!

Hi All, Ive been gone for awhile doing some consulting work in Europe. I don't know if anyone even remembers me. There are so many new Zapers on the forum and I can see why. Rick has outdone himself with his new designs, wood choices heat exchanger improvements, finishes etc, etc. I am very very impressed to say the least. :o
I'm very interested in the "Out On A Limb" Zap. I love the natural aspect of the bark. Does anyone know when another Out On A Limb will be available as I didn't see one listed on the site? I looked at the Blissville site and they have one for sale. Are they an approved distributor or otherwise?

One question I have is - Will my brass stems work with the new stainless stems for the new stainless Zaps?

My old brass Zap is still performing as well as it did when I got it about 2.5 years ago, and its been plugged in 24/7 that long. I didn't even unplug it when I was gone and it worked great whan I got back. That says something, and the new zaps are even better, WOW!!

Hi Lycanthrope and welcome back. :D

Yes, Blisssville is now an authorized dealer of the CRZ. I'm not sure if Rick will be making any more of this series or not. I'd shoot him an email directly if you are interested, rather than waiting for one to come up on the site.

Your old, brass stems will work with an adaptor sleeve. Rick supplies these (as does Ed). The sleeve is necessary since the new stainless steel heatport is bigger in diameter than the old brass style.

Glad to hear your Zap is still going strong. I think you would love this new generation of Zap too.

Thanks MOM and I'm glad to be remembered. I'll contact Rick directly and see if he may make at least one more of those out on a limb series. If not I'll order the one I saw on the Blissville site it's very nice.

Thanks again, it's really good to be back!! :D

Good to see you back around Wolfman! Sure, many of us remember you. We love that news on a 2 1/2 year old brass Zap too. I can't wait for 3-5 years to roll by so we can really see how these CRZs will do in the longer run.
That Maple out on a limb at Blisssville is the only available one around for now. I cannot speak for the future. I know we will have an excellent supply of super dry blocks in the future but nor sure on the limbs. That turning also takes special skills that I do not have at this time as it has to be done very slowly(slow rpm) and carefully. I would snag that one if you want an out on a limb at this time. Blisssville is an authorized re-seller of CRZs, the only website available CRZ dealer besides us at this time.
Looks like NYC will be getting another Black Locust CRZ. I did that shell just a little too thin and was a bit careless installing the plug in the back. A small crack turned into a big one. Show it if you want deez.

Thanks Rick, I'll go to Blissville and get the one shown. It appears like it's a good one with some definite style.

And it looks even better in person :lolz: I'm totally zapped! I really love this thing; there was really no learning curve at all and I get 4 or 5 good hits and a few whispy ones out of a stem! Warning to those who want to buy one of these to cut back on your 'essential oil' consumption: you will probably go through just as much, because it's so smooth and consistent that you won't want to put it down!

Redwood ftw!!

Wow! This is very sweet!
Nice vid J.R.R. Where would we be without our furry friends that are so much a part of our daily life? They are such a big part of keeping us happy. Do you know what happened to all of us when that sweet thing strolled across the picture? We all went just a little softer.
Nice job vtac and everyone involved. Now we need to take some time to figure out how to use all the bells and whistles with the new software.
Mucho faster too. Mucho.
Movin' on up!
Do you already have a 'new software tutorial' that I have not even looked for?
EDIT:
VERY FAST!!!!!!

Good morning, well my beauty showed up yesterday afternoon, oh my what a sight to see! She is way more stunning than I could have imagined, she is like a butterfly that has just come out of her cocoon, lifting her wings and taking me to new places! Such an amazing piece of work Rick, the shine she has is memorizing. You put a sweet piece of leather on her and matched the top ceramic to her dark complexion, wow I cant stop admiring it. Thanks for the joy you have given me, I do appreciate ya!

My Zap has quickly become my daily driver. I always vaporbong and with the short GonG stems it is near perfect. The only thing I would say I miss is a little higher temperature vapor, but maybe ill try using a coozie or something :peace:
