The i30 true -- is super workhorse battery -- and its amazing what some have been through and still ticking ! I love the VV up to 8v !!! and the passthrough / long cape time and other features ---
This keeps it in my own hands still months and months later after daily crazy testing and use !
yet as soon as we find a better replacement we will do so !
gotta keep up in the battery game ! and at this pace it gets expensive ! so we will probably do limited lots of 200 - 500 units -- of course depending on demand -- and volume of change in industry !!!!

I had a long discussion about the Zirconium dioxide film we want ! and they feel so strong -- that alone it is way too strong of a material almost like our silly go at it with quartz rods ! they are not porous at all?

so we suspect it is a combo -- probably a bit of our special airstone -- or (special new medical material) mixed together to achieve the porous we need --

it brings up some interesting ideas !!!!!

Im really feeling the current model -- and the titanium2 sponge that comes with it is pretty dense !
very good for terpene sessions and long long low temp sessions since i find it suspends the material and it works more as convection s opposed to touching the ceramic --
- very opposite feel than str8 on the ceramic --

@invisiblefriend Checked the site out...looks good and thanks for the coupon code. I saw a couple typos in the Slim Cartridge description where "vape" is misspelled "cape" so as you requested, I'm letting you know.
See below in red, taken directly from your site.

-Our newest member to the MD-72 family is our CERAMIC heating element — we used the same cup – but completely rebuilt the interior ceramic cup ! The cup now has a side airflow “flume” line and wraps under the element coming up through the middle allowing for a center , below & side airflow combo which when combined with the special “turbine” cap creates a small tornado inside the cup when closed ! — this allows the medicine to not just sit on the bottom and burn up – it heats up super fast and cools down just the same ! and as just enough lands on the element it pushes up an amazing huge tasty cape cloud ! I'm so glad to hear that you found that wall of text and media i posted helpful (it took me awhile)

As far as the website is concerned, I look forward to its continual evolution, and have been enjoying the articles on terpenes. I think my least favorite thing about the oil I currently use (Tetra Labs Pure Gold) is its lack of terpenes- unfortunately, because my allergies react to so many things here in Washington, I don't really have options- if I go for anything that isn't extensively purified, 97/100 times my allergies will react in some way. I can barely even be around people using BHO because butane irritates my allergies. I really want to move to Oregon or California (because it's the mold here that causes me the most problems), but I will probably wait until I finish college for financial (aid) reasons.

Ok tangent over- point is, I am eagerly awaiting the Terpenes I see in your accessories section

As far as batteries go, I have heard (from following the ecig world- I spent 1k on ecig stuff trying to quit cigarettes, but that's another story...) that the ecig version of the TRUE i30 (istick 30w) is a total workhorse, as you said- it seems to be a daily driver for many that vape using tanks. So as I said before, I'm sure the TRUE i30 is a great device- but when I can pay the same money and trade voltage mode for TCR adjustable temperature control, I will- or I did LOL

What it comes down to is that the ecig market moves insanely fast. I don't know if any of you took a close look at the DNA200 screenshot I posted, but that chip can do all kinds of stuff! I'm envisioning a Kind MD CSV file (that's where the TCR chart goes) for each atomizer, allowing temperature control to have some accuracy right off the bat! And if history is any indication... all the Chinese ecig manufacturers are reverse engineering it as we speak (which will hopefully mean we won't have to pay the $180+ that places are asking for DNA200 batteries).

I'm looking forward to using my Kind MD ceramic atomizer with the Ti2 Sponge, as I am all about low temperature when I vape my pure gold. I'm gonna have a lot of testing to do though- my SXK nebula has 100 different TCR settings, and of course I bought both atomizers! I want to make an effort to find some more terpene-heavy oils that don't upset my allergies, but that gets expensive really fast- its not like I can get sample sizes....

I'm so exicted

Somehow I will have to be patient

Oh- as far as zirconium wicking goes, I actually still own a Luna from our old Thermafriends- it's the ecig version, and so it has to wick e-liquid, which it actually does succesfully. I could (I think I will) write an entire post about what I learned from Thermo products- but for now I have to sign off

-and to think when i started i tried to simply get an adjustable voltage battery made and it was like pulling teeth -- i have some stories about that and it almost made me give up !!!!
fast forward 4 years and its a new battery development every 12 hours !!!

again MPZ -- i appreciate your work ! I put my engineers on FULL HOLD until I figure out really what direction to take ---
we don't need to go crazy -- but i would like to have some more options especially if this is a realistic direction ----- i will keep all posted if it becomes worth it -- due to performance and of course cost --

we will see -- maybe we will offer 2 TC models --- a basic titanium read --
and an adjustable tCR for the pros

this is getting even more interesting !



also ---re terpenes -- and allergies !

I also had some serious allergies -- I must say i think I'm on a 7 year good spot now (fingers crossed) --
it used to be really bad 4 me -- i almost had to stop myself -- thank goodness things changed !

now with terpenes it is interesting over here on east coast ---- we were forced to jump into this arena and -- I'm kinda glad we were -- but it wasn't the best times !

wax/ concentrate -- always was a joke to grab in NY / tri state --- and thats without talking about the dam law enforcement which is more serious than u could imagine ! it has been a rough 10 year period and even recent times are not so perfect ! so finding the right taste ---- or creating a nice medicine using a quality cbd or hemp oil and then infusing the right terpenes to get the best health benefit and taste of course !

It wasn't my favorite --- but it worked well -- and after working in the aromatherapy field for so many years and only using pure essential oils it was pretty easy to source the best terpenes and create some amazing tastes and effects !

then in recent times it has been used locally (unfortunately) -- the west coast and colorado ship ship ship ship the leftover or poor run or 3rd and 4th run wax and oils as PREMIUM wax to east coast users -
- which is the NORM even to date ! its tough to watch and be part of !
but we have also used techniques o clean these runs --- which of course takes all the remaining terpenes out but at least gives a better product -- and maybe can finally call medicine -- to a degree --

then we add the right amount of terpenes to infuse (actually recommended to infuse much earlier in the stage --- but for the discussion ...... )

we will post on our site and maybe here as well recipes and many techniques we have used for many years --- its unfortunate about poor wax and medicine --
but positive about the terpenes --
I always found it amazing -- really amazing the true effect an essential oil has on the human ! especially at the pure level !
I know I remember scents from when i was a baby ! the mind holds onto this ! and essential oils in pure form can do huge things for you ! -- I have been testing smells on my son since a baby ! amazing

adding these amazing flavors to your medicine certainly boosts it ! and many times helps keep your flavor through entire sessions !
I can go on n on about and I will all in time -- this is just the start !

MD-72 line of heating element which consists of all coils and atomizers/heating elements that fit the
KindMD line of SlimSS silver unit, SlimSS Glass unit, Bottlecap cartridge line (also both SS and glass units)
they all use the same coils and will continue to use same base airflow and base screw style/fittings
this also holds true to all our MD-72 coils we manufacture for SEEGO aftermarket as well
(KindMD GLACIER)

basically you will find we have used a minimal approach to airflow especially with the titanium2 coil style and this was due to us using the deeper cup and the pull of the user to lift the oil up into the porous wick once it was melted it could be pulled up just enough to reach the wick .... this has worked very well --
BUT -- most do not like cleaning and such -- so we have found that over time they can clog fairly fast depending on quality of oil / concentrate of course --- the nice yummy clean wax no worries -- it just eats it all up --
but any dirty types that leave residue and anything remaining -- it is important to keep the cup clean for airflow and the coil can clean so it lasts 4 long long periods of time !
the dirtier the coil is the higher you need to push your battery --- if you normally can get away with perfect tasty hits at 3.2volts -- you will be up to 4.3volts for same results and soon burning your medicine ! and then soon you will be at 6volts and after enough time you just may pop the coil --- so basically there is no need to ever get so high ! you may notice the OHMS get higher as it gets hotter and it also is effected by dirty wicking and dirty coils !
I personally clean my coils for one reason -- i love the way the taste is after being cleaned -- and if you keep up on -- for example if you just sweep the coil evey few sessions -- you will just need a quick sweep -- and hardly ever need a full cleaning and will have ever tasty concentrate pulls !!!!

That is why i made the KindMD cleaning tool -- it is soooo tiny --all surgical stainless steel--- smaller than the length of your pinky and fits in tiny spots - and the stainless steel brushes cleans out around and between the coil area ---
of course make sure you have the power button off ! --
take this tool and just rub back and forth along the coil and it will clean 1,2,3 .... if you do not have this tool available -- you can carefully use a toothpick by breaking in 1/2 and use the edges to carefully sweep the coil -- and of course you can use the q-tip edge which is great but unfortunately may leave some fiber behind and pull reclaim away ---

(q-tip -- tip **** always use q-tips -- make sure 100 percent cotton -- use q-tips without and sometimes with alcohol or rubbing alcohol to clean coils and very part of your setup from tools to fingers -
---- use qtips until they are full of reclaim and oil ---
then you have 2 choices --- BEST -- drop qtip cotton into the ceramic heating element in our Kind MD72 unit -- it works as a wick and you can vape every last drop ! yummy yummy --
or
2nd best - always keep a med jar with alcohol or similar substance --- clean all and drop all into the alcohol including full cleanings of your parts -- so over time it will be full of reclaim items -- let the alcohol evaporate --- you will be left with gooey or hard icky sticky --- use this with lecithin and coconut oil in a few capsules for some hard hitting edibles ! what is left is the highest thc without terpenes --- so you usually get a nice couch dose ! lol )


the next generation of KindMD coils has a slightly different airflow -- it has 2 sizes and one is the same size as we are all used to -- but we have added some new airflow areas --
in the original size --- we added a few more areas and 1 larger base oval hole.... for the lazy ones ! -- j/k ...lol --- -- it is a nice upgrade and i still recommend cleaning no matter !!!
then we have the XL larger coils which I cannot wait to showcase ! super new design !
but again always good to clean --

I say clean all on the daily if possible -- then you never will have the need for full soaks ---

but if you must --- every few weeks or when you feel it needs - you can basically put in a medicine jar with your favorite solution in it -- I recommend either lightly shaking and then removing and working at it with our tools or a combination of toothpicks and q-tips -- but using both methods will certainly get you back to an amazing new product !

i like keeping mines new every few days -- so i sweep every few sessions (10 seconds) and then give a full clean every month ------ so if taken care of these guys can really really last ! the wicking stays true forever ! and if kept proper the Titanium2 coils are made extremely well so no hotspots etc. --
so cleaning helps last so so long ----
I have test coils that I still use to compare new products -- i just clean and it is new to compare !
and i honestly still use one of my original .80 OHM coils i still use daily -- (even i am amazed ) lol
Of course I have popped some and burnt some up going crazy -- but it is very obvious that the dirtier and higher you keep bringing it up - unfortunately hen your chances are higher of damage -- and of course you lose the important taste issue ---


-- just be careful when you are handling but you will see you don't have to be careful like a china doll !!!!

now to the new ceramic heating elements

OK OK many have touched this --- (I'm not going to discuss wattage yet ..)
and this is for the ceramic style -- which in manufacturing -- it is actually many different types ceramic bound together to create the existing surface !
because it uses a few types of this fiber -- the harder styles make it so even if a crack or anything appears or happens .... it is ok ...
*THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED YET WITH ANY KINDMD CERAMIC !!!!!! * and I have gone crazy --- you will see once you get too high voltage / watts - the special wires below will burn out before the ceramic will - I brought this up to many manufacturers -- and engineers ---
the current manufacturer of the existing element we use has addressed this possible issue and says that if it even did crack no microscopic pieces could fall off or out --- it would break in a large piece with no small residue pieces at all !

(now we always want to be ahead and above even what is "said" by manufacturers -- so we still r developing better mousetrap ! and always will !

we are using this amazing material -- and we are putting a special coating / or layer above -- keeping it away from all airflow or even touch ! -
this IMO and from my testing is as close or better than an old technology that I'm trying to achieve with a better taste and better flow !

BACK TO CLEANING
and this will be updated

when using the titanium2 mesh -- you will find the heating element barely gets dirty at all !!! still white after 4 sessions .... hmmm???? what is going on ? lol -
-- since in this mode it works almost in a convection way !
without the material actually touching the ceramic -- turning into vapor b4 hand ! its nice -- I'm really starting to enjoy ! I do recommend the glass being used for this method instead of the stainless steel tube (until we release our thermal cover ! ) just due to high heat @ times

so of course after a lot of use -- you can simply wipe out the cup and just fire blast the wick (very quick) or honestly i suggest soaking in your medicine bottle setup ---- it will add to your re-claim !
for your end of month edibles !

but if you are just simply using the ceramic --- as the heating element with no wicking ---
cleaning will become important !
why ?
because the best taste comes from a clean surface --- and yes you can get the ceramic back to white and you can burn all off ---- but honestly don't put all the stress into your tool by pushing so much power through just for cleaning --
USE a tool -- of course our cleaning tool is key due to abrasion ---- -but have no fear with alcohol --- you can simply use a q-tip and 90% at least and just run around --- once you get most of it clean -- then you can use the burn technique to clean up ----
just burn at the highest you feel comfy to get the last bits of residue and alcohol that may remain which if used as a last step will happen very fast as opposed to burning it up at 600 degrees every cleanup ---
yet you can "burn clean" many many times --- but expect to purchase replacements more often IMO

it is also safe to soak the ceramic ones in alcohol ---- just do not do it longer than over night -- its really not necessary !

the current generation has a small area around the heating element --- this gets full with the concentrate and reclaim -- and IMO makes a nice side wicking area ----
future areas will have a small wicking around it or may like I said be hidden completely
but if you want to clean this area just use a small PIN .... it is not necessary to clean this spot but if u must

also --- the brand new middle air hole -- its built into the ceramic mold -- it usually does not clog -- but if you find it clogs at all -- a pin will fit very easy --- but a quick blow into it is fine -----

This is really good to hear! Alas, it won't make my day 1 order arrive any faster (gotta wait till Saturday )

In any event, it's great to see cleaning directions for the coils- though it looks like I won't need to do much cleaning, as
a) I'm pretty sure I'm going to be all about using the ti2 mesh wick with the ceramic atomizer i have coming- I like to vape at basically as low of a temperature as i can get away with for oil (for dosage/effect control- oil is overkil strong for me)

b) the oil I use is extremely pure by design: see http://wa.tetralabs.com/puregold_technical/ because as i am allergic to so many things here in washington (Especially the mold!) it's the only thing i've found that never ever gives me allergy issues.

Which is good, as I have recently discovered that i am sensitive to isopropyl alcohol- sigh. Man, ethanol is expensive because taxes- but i will probably have to get some eventually for cleaning.

I just want to throw out another tip: as far as using cotton as a wick for reclaim goes, if anyone expects to do this regularly, I recommend http://www.nativewickscotton.com/about/ or another premium pima vaping cotton, as burn tests done by various e-cig reviewers have shown it to be significantly more heat-resistant than regular cotton (off a q-tip for example). I was thinking about getting some myself to use in a convection vaporizer with pure gold- but i sincerely doubt I will need to once my Kind MD order arrives (Saturday can't come soon enough ).


On the topic of terpenes, I am excited for them to arrive (and excited to hear you are an aromatherapy expert) because i believe it is a specific terpene that really helps me focus (I started showing ADD symptoms in 2nd grade ), as i have found that only some strains do this for me.

I feel your pain about oil quality and law enforcement on the east coast- I am fortunate to be on the west coast (Washington state).

Perhaps I wasn't clear- I was referring to the above suggestion of using it to vape reclaim. As far as my personal musings over using it in a convection vape (before I discovered Kind MD), if you can suggest something more suitable that retains the amount of airflow cotton allows I am all ears. Because I agree with you- cotton burns at like 420F or something- it's just that inert, heat-resistant substances usually can't be made to allow as much airflow as cotton.

Also, if you explore enough elsewhere on this forum i believe you will find that this idea wasn't exactly mine... and has been around for awhile.

As they say, to each their own. In all likelihood the Ti2 wick that comes with the ceramic atomizer will have enough airflow for me to get what I want out of it- but if somehow it doesn't, i may try something along these lines with my Solo.

Because I agree with you- cotton burns at like 420F or something- it's just that inert, heat-resistant substances usually can't be made to allow as much airflow as cotton.

Also, if you explore enough elsewhere on this forum i believe you will find that this idea wasn't exactly mine... and has been around for awhile.

As they say, to each their own. In all likelihood the Ti2 wick that comes with the ceramic atomizer will have enough airflow for me to get what I want out of it- but if somehow it doesn't, i may try something along these lines with my Solo.

Thank you for clarifying, I thought you meant using it for "solid" concentrates. Forgive me, I have tonsillitis and I've been in a dab coma since Tuesday.

When I vape reclaim, I scrape it out of the tube/cup and put it back into the coil. Vapes very well, just needs longer pulls/higher temps.

Most people extract it using iso/alcohol, then evaporate or purge. I personally don't like that idea. If I use iso on a piece, it's to get the parts where I can't get to or are stained sparkling clean. That mixture just goes down the sink. The whole process just doesn't seem worth it to me.

As for airflow... reclaim dries into a near putty-like substance in the right conditions, so I definitely hear you on that. What I do is hold the button and preheat before I take a hit, so it melts enough to get a thick, smooth, unrestricted hit.

But I usually have too much that I'm getting rid of to keep room for oil, so I have huge reserves of black gold.

I used to use stainless steel wick wrapped with Kanthal back in the day (year ago...)

Worked pretty good, but I was always worried about oxidation. Taste was good, and wicked very well. Makes me excited to try Ti mesh now.

Looking back I'm surprised to see me preferring a "pen" style cartridge over my beefy 20W mech mod and and dual coil 28ga wire + SS mesh. 30W APV and 0.8Ω Kind cart puts it to shame.

However, you could throw that vape through a car window. Can't do that with this one

Even the reclaim from it doesn't get all that hard.

I don't bother with reclaim- as I discovered recently, Iso and I don't get along, ethanol is expensive, and my tolerance is so low that it takes me months to get through half a gram vaping almost every day.

I'm just looking for the lowest temperature, smallest hit i can manage.

A tube? Is this hash oil or hemp oil? Curious.

That's one thing I want @invisiblefriend to research is hemp oil vaping. Many people vape hemp oil for its many, many benefits (look up Grannys List!)

I've seen the syringes of BHO too. Pretty sweet. I've seen people drop it right on a nail Although I'd rather use a dabber.

on my way to play the ny game of grabbing 2 types - (pot luck) one is qwiso and other is co2 stripped of most all terpenes/flavor (similar to the stuff from the labs -- but probably not as pure ! ) -- but PERFECT FOR ADDING TERPENES to.... it works perfect when you have a blank slate --
you can really really test the effects -- and test the flavors

(like back in the day when we tested essential oils - 20 plus years ago ! ) -- we would use a carrier oil that had zero sent -- similar to the clean co2 type --
then to test true results would use placebo in some - by using fragrance instead of essential oils !
which nowadays - actually 98% of even ON -MARKET essential oils are not pure AT ALL and 99% of ACTUAL DEVELOPED SPA AND OTHER products with essential oils or terpenes are MADE IN A LAB IN THE BASEMENT OF A FOREIGN COUNTRY -- not real essential oils --
they are NOT PULLED FROM THE PLANTS

AND THIS FORM OF fake AROMATHERAPY (often used by large companies and in stores to attract customers - etc. ........ )
they cut corners and use synthetic oils -- in hopes that just the placebo effect of smelling the orange or tangerine will be enough !
WELL ITS NOT - IT JUST MAKES THE SPACE SMELL GOOD !!!

no medicinal value

add essential oils and the game changes -- even that true essential oil candle can be medicine 4 u !
but again sadly most candles -- of course 4 the (WOW) value that the consumer wants as they pick up the candle and want to smell the overpowering smell immediately -- and it just doesn't work that way --

with candles -- or any other medicine application -- even with wax of course !
you need a pure medicine -- a real medicine !! !!!! HONEST & TRUE


this is why -- we will be bringing back our essential oil line very soon which of course will include all the major terpenes found within our special plant !
we will also have a few mixtures available to make it easier on the user ---

Vetiver & Lavender & Cedarwood

combined it actually has a nice earth woodsy smell with a touch of lemon /citris -- some sativas i have found to be very similar in flavor !

you can start with a few drops of each --- start with the VETIVER which is a well known terpene -- and add a few drops of the other 2 .... to your taste -- or scent !

when you have a scent you really enjoy --- start using this -- you can vape it alone -- infuse it -- boil in water and create steam and place your face over it ---
- of course you can add to your medicine as a super component to help ADD / ADHD

many have compared it to ADDERAll -- especially after long term use -- it is very successful !

you can also just make the potion .. and then rub a few drops on the back of your head or on your big toe !
or better yet just run behind your ear for quick absorption !

on the NY blues side --- we were going to get our medicine this morning and -- well it did not go as planned as often the case --

and not only of course did i need / want for my weekend (medicine running scary low ) -- especially since i have not combusted in over 4 years at least !
(of course i could easily go to silly pharmacy and get a fentanyl patch or oxy (like heroin pills IMO) - or whatever and no problem -- dr and law says no problem -- )

but the medicine that works for everything -- and in such amazing ways -- I cannot hold legally in my state yet --- and even once it is later this year it will more or less be a joke ----

if things do not change -- no worries west coast - we may have to move our operation !!!

so im stuck playing those games with 2nd rate material !

So apparently my stuff came today! Which is unfortunate because I'm out of town at the moment...

Luckily my friend has the package in safekeeping. I will test it out with a few grams of various different types of concentrate and report my findings. First I need to get a new APV.

I expected the package to arrive on Monday... pleasant surprise of course. I'll be able to try it out sometime tomorrow (Saturday)
