So my CCG Mini Pillar arrived yesterday. The box was absolutely smashed, thanks USPS. Luckily, CCG's top-notch bubble wrap job kept my piece safe.

First impressions: Wow. This looks WAY better than anything I've gotten from Steven. Glass is crystal clear, thick, consistent. No noticeable bubbles, the joints are WAY smoother, the base is actually flat, the mouthpiece is in line, the pillars are straight, and so is the joint. That said, the perc on this diffuses far less than the FC-1000 (which is what I wanted), and the pull is much smoother.

Comparison to the FC-1000:

I like the size on this mini pillar much better than the full-size FC-1000. That said, I don't have a FC-707 to compare it to. The piece is more than stable enough to support an enail, and strikes a great balance, IMO, between diffusion and flavor.

I'm recommending this to people over the FC-1000 now for anything other than combustion.

Does anyone have any experience with the fc1000 and fc707? I was wondering what the pros and cons are to the different mouthpieces. Also how do they hit? Is there much drag, or blowback?

The ccg mini pillar looks nice but I'm not a fan of the mouthpiece, how it connects to the base. Although the build quality looks amazing.

This is my new all-rounder. Mostly oil through my enail, but also flower with my Underdogs. The FC-1000 is being relegated to massive hits with the logs, or combustion. Just too much diffusion for me.

How do you plan to use it? The FC-1000 is rather diffusion-heavy, IMO for vapes or oil. Definitely check out CCG's Mini-Pillar: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/new-design-glass-water-pipes-glass-bongs/253390914.html

So apparently the devastator is ready and is going up on stevens store in the next few days.

Jane warned me not to purchase right away because of whatever the holiday thing going on is, but I guess by whatever date we're supposed to be able to start ordering the devastator will be up :)

Jane mentioned that the base will have a matrix Perc downstem, and the A/C will have a showerhead downstem.

The model name is going to be "FCMOD"

Awesome! Now I have a hard choice to make its either the FC-UFO or this.

Which of Steven's pieces pair well with the Evo? I want something with good flavor and not a lot of drag. I was looking at the straight fab, the mini pillar, and the torus. I couldn't tell if there was enough clearance to fit the Evo on those though.
