I am working to refine my technique. I pushed the screen further into the draw tube. And I lift it up a bit to, I think, allow more of the unheated air into the air path. I think I scorched my herb a couple of draws. This is a little more complicated than using my Haze, but I am determined.

Do not ask how long it took, btw, to figure out how to remove the screen for cleaning.

I have to say, I am sometimes mentally a five year old and enjoy sucking up the ground herb into the stems! Totally fun!

I am so in love with this sweet little device, so elegant and beautiful.

Glad to hear you're getting the hang of it! An extra extension cord or a dimmer switch like someone posted above, would probably help quite a bit -- but screen placement and all those things you're experimenting with are great ways to really get to know your vape. :)

As for screen cleaning, here's what we recommend: http://underdogvapes.com/faq#cleanstems Maybe that will be a little easier on ya. ;)

This refresh really has a lot of beautiful dogs. The only thing keeping my VAS at bay is MAS - medication acquisition syndrome.

There are so many great ones it's hard to even choose a favorite!

If I hadn't JUST bought 2 beautiful log vapes I'd have snapped up that spalted tamarind in a second and maybe even sprung for that buy 2 get 1 deal. The fire maple is stunning too.

Woke up today and my dog is begging for a friend to play with. Now all we have to do is convince the misses...don't know how that is gonna work.

Might I suggest this angle "...Underdog is having a 'buy 2 get 1 free' sale and we already have 1 so if we buy 1 more we get another free. I bet UD would be willing to make you a custom one for the 3rd one, then you could have one of your very own sweetheart!" :brow:

Reporting in to say I am really impressed with this vape! Very conservative with my herb.

Still adjusting to it. The color turns odd, almost white, initially, then gradually browns. Sometimes get a darker brown hot spot, but less of that since I pushed the screen further up. Will definitely look into getting a dimmer. @underdog did say these latest dogs were hotdogs.

Have probably been vaping too much because I have a new "toy" and cannot stop futzing with it.

Curious to hear - how often do you all condition your wood? I am bad about conditioning my spinning wheel, but that is not exposed to heat like this. Already feels dry to me.

I do it around once a day, usually at night.

Sounds like fun experimentation! :science:

I leave it up the the wood on how often it gets conditioned.. basically whenever it starts to strike me as getting dry. Some species this is frequently, some it's infrequently. Typically they need more conditioning early in life and then less often as they age and there's some wax buildup. :peace:

Gave my big dog a break this morning and broke out the mini from it's kennel.

Got a VK vvps in, thanks Nick :D and the mini at 13.35 is kicking some major ass!

Retiring my big tattoo style vvps now... The one I have has a fan that runs non stop and the sound gets irritating... So I barely used it.. This VK is smaller, lighter... And makes no sound. Love.

An old buddy I went to high school with lives down the road.. I got him high his first time back when we were 13... Now I got him high his first time with a vaporizer nearly 20 years later lmao. Good times. And he loves the full sized underdog.

It was definitely his favorite out of the Arizer Eq, Arizer Air, and Triihouse lily...

It's my favorite too... So he has good taste lol.

Enjoy it as much as I did brother. Now you just need a battery VK lol. That opens a whole new world!

One of my screens has a few brown spots on it. It almost looks like rust, but I suspect they're scorch marks from when I had the screen too close and I combusted. Has anyone encountered this and is there a way to clean the brown marks off the screen? Iso/salt didn't help.
