Stopping email notices

So guys after a few years the email notices from FC have finally driven me mad. I'm sorry but I don't need to receive an email due to someone posting their shipping info in the the Cheap Bubbler thread, etc.

I have tried everything to stop these unwanted messages but they keep coming. I've made adjustments under the 'contact' section and also 'alert preferences' but they still keep coming. I've logged in and out numerous times but they still keep coming.

What am I doing wrong? Help!

At the top of the thread there a watch/unwatch link to the right side right above people's comments. If watching a post still like to watch the post for alerts, little notice on website, then click unwatch, then re-click watch and mark with alerts but not email notification. I know I made sound complicated but just click that little watch/unwatch button and will be self explanatory

Thanks but that isn't going to work. I would need to individually go to every thread I have ever watched and click 'unwatch'.

At top of the screen, under the Fuckcombustion title, there's a menu bar. Going backwards from the far right, there's Alerts, Inbox, then your FC name. Click on your name. In the menu that appears, click on Alert Preferences. Configure to suite your preferences.



I'm also known as Grand Master Website Blaster...ok, maybe not...

or go into 'watched threads' and click on 'show all watch threads' on the bottom left of the page and up on the right hand corner where it says watch thread on this page it'll say "manage watched threads", you can turn off all your email alerts except pm's from there and still have all your alerts on forum too.

are somewhere the button of unread messages from last time you visit forum?

@Petrolhead_GR click on the header near the top of this page that says "Watched Threads" and you'll see the first of any unread posts in the threads you watch or have posted in.
