During a sesh last weekend a buddy and I decided to clone the rosin technologies pneumatic press. Drew up their pneumatic setup and started tracking down parts today. Meeting up for another work sesh in a little bit so we should hopefully have parts and price sorted and work out our plate design.

Here is the pneumatic drawing and quick semi-parts list.

Off to sesh and hopefully make some progress! If anyone has any thoughts or comments please share. This kind of stuff is new to both of us so we could use all help we can get. I'll post more soonish!

If you use the manual switch, you could eliminate the solenoid and the pressure switch.. seems like they have enough off the shelf stuff that you should just need to concentrate on the plates and PID controller unless you have another reason for going that route. Either way, nice job and really interested to see where this goes.

All the design work for the RT press is in the plates. All the pneumatic gear is available in packages through quite a few companies. So we are pivoting and taking it in a little different direction. The main focus will be plates, making them adaptable to multiple presses.
