The Astral by Vapeur

Just received mine as well, I work Friday-Sunday 12 hour days so I won't be able to report back really till Monday. I'll definitely be giving it a few sessions at the machine shop with my coworkers though.

It's charging now but reading through the manual I noticed a couple things-

This one makes no difference to me but I know a lot of people like to know the exact temp they are vaping at. In the manual it just says low, medium, and high.

Also it uses blue and indigo color flashing for different battery levels, I'm not color blind but I'm guessing if you have any trouble differentiating between colors that could be a problem.

One interesting thing is that to check the battery level (there is only a single button on the unit) you shake the device and it will tell you the battery level. Either full charge, partial charge, or near dead.

This thing is much smaller then I had expected, if I wrap my hand around it like a fist only the ~1 inch mouthpiece will protrude from my hand. Also incredibly light, I like my toys to have some heft to them, but this is kind of a nice change of pace.

Definitely a sleek looking little unit, kind of a taller more slender pax. I am not a pax fan at all and I think this unit looks better if it matters to anyone.

I'll report back with some actual info in the next couple days

So far to me, this is the first Pax but with a lid to cover the mouth piece instead of it popping up and the oven is under the mouth piece. I do not dig the power button on the bottom of the vape. Not sure what the price tag is (won mine in a giveaway) but I'll be honest, I probably wouldn't buy it since I have both Pax.

Edit: this post made me think I don't like the Astral which I do like it. If you own a Pax 1 or 2, then you won't want this unless you want a slight upgrade.

It does feel better in the hand than the Pax. I agree with you about the colors. If you're color blind, this vape will confuse you. I just noticed the mouth piece doesn't have a screen, just 2 tiny holes in a small metal piece leading to the mouthpiece. The taste is pretty decent (smoked girl scout cookies and cherry og). It heats up freaking quick. I use to middle temp and get decent clouds. Everything gets as hot as the Pax does (not real hot, to me it's tolerable). Overall, I think this is a little better designed Pax 2 in an improved Pax 1 body.

Just read a review where someone recommended this. Any more purchasers. I wonder if it's similar to a FM in purpose.

I won one in an IG contest they had and I thought it was better than my FM5 but I don't use either one anymore. I would compare it to a Pax but the oven is under the mouthpiece. It's decent but mine sits in my vape graveyard
