How does the restriction feel on the draw when using the sloflo cap? i'm using a teaspoon at the minute with my fqn, basic but does the job. Also did you work up too 630f with no throat issues i'm @600 and my throat gets a bit raspy at that temp. Do you have much residue left over at those temps?

Hey man. Well the restriction is how u make it. The top of the cap is open like a straw and you use your finger to cover the hole completely, partially or leave it open. If I take a deep inhale to clear my rig, there is enough restriction and suction to keep the Ti cap stuck to the nail with the carb wide open. Idk if you get what I'm saying. But yea you control the restriction more or less.

As for temp, I was running hotter and I was stepping down. The 630 or 600 in your case that you see on the controller isn't the temp of the Quartz. There is some heat loss between the coil to the Ti and the Ti to the FQN. IMO 600-630 is low temps. The FQN is probably in the 500's somewhere. Temp is personal preference IMO. And yes at 630 there is a good amount of residue left.

To find my temps I get the dab to melt with minimal smoke/vapor or whatever coming off the nail. Then I use a carb cap and get the flavor packed milky hits.

I am loving my 4point0 Glass Fourtex with the FQN and Herb Nail. The 4point0 En4cer is also an excellent pairing with any of the Errlectric nail options.

Those look and sound amazing, especially the fourtex I've always looked at that as a dream piece. life has to be good when you have badass glass like that. i'm very pleased to hear they match well, giving Eross

Really anything with minimal diffusion will be good. The Ion has wayyy too much for my preference. That matrix perc is a flavor thief!

I got my magnetic caddy and the Slow-Flow cap today. I'm hoping for my second unit to come tomorrow. I'm gonna run the FQN and the Herb nail on a claisen...why? Why not?
The Slow-Flow cap really did add to the flavor somehow. :shrug: I am finally capping my FQN properly! I guess. No more cheese knife. Hitting some Xt Larry OG shatter and now on to the Tokyo Diesel in the Herb Nail.:smug:

i need to get on the sloflo cap also, looks legit and worth the money from what you guys are saying and posting. Diehard, godamn that is one sexy piece of glass loving the combo you choose blue cheese, very nice indeed.

Just read through the thread (thank you guys for some very informative posts) and boy am I excited to be getting my hands on one of these enails.

I will be using it with my Black Leaf bubbler for now but have my eye on something a little more special, but that will have to wait.

On occasion I've used my water piece's dry mostly when I'm micro Dabbin and Flavor chasing temp @ 520-540
If I'm in missery mode crank the temp up add water & drop globs...temp 560-640
My glass of choice is my Pukinbeagle for dabs t1/ Gb-187 minimal water for herb nail.

How does the errlectric stack up against using a torch performance wise, what do you guys that have done both prefer? Always wondered if people just use the enail for ease of use or its just generally better? I couldn't imagine using a torch myself cause of the state i get in after a small dab haha.

Every dab gets me REKT the same way it did when i tried it at first many months ago.

Well, as it gets easier, and more convenient, AND better in EVERY way, you will begin to feel like "Torching is to dabbing, as smoke signals are to communication". Archaic and obsolete. Everyone in my home would get uneasy when I used the torch. It's loud and obnoxious. Your tolerance will ramp up as the ease of use makes it less of a big deal to dab. It just sits there hot and ready for you to dab. When my mom (age 72 ) saw the Errlectric at a Glass and Vape trade Show, she said, "you need that!" So I got it the next month and couldn't be happier nearly a year later.

I just traded for an errlectric and bubbler the other day..traded my Evo and tube so it was a scary trade on my part since I absolutely loved the Evo. I did my research and Errlectric was my preference and once I set my mind that I needed one I was going to get one. This is my first foray into the "dabbing" world so excuse me if I come off as a lightweight puss:)

Anyway how do you guys take multiple hits off this thing and remain standing??? I have some real nice shatter and I swear I dabbed little more than maybe 2x a pin head and I was done. I have that Vortex cap thing and just the regular TI nail thing and into a Honey Supply honeycomb thing with a dropdown so it's not like some of the crazy rigs I see on this thread. But jesus I was walking around numb after just 1 hit...and this is all 3 times I have hit it!

Welcome to the wonderful world of dabbing with the Errlectric! To complete your transition from the EVO you may want the Herb Nail. True convection flower experience with a dab on top. ;)

I definitely will get one but they are just so damn expensive...but based on this tread apparently very worth it. What about the quartz insert? Are we talking a flavor thing with the quartz?

Welcome to the club, what a great decision you have made. My story is similar i ditched the evo to become a dabaholic. Haven't looked back since, could easily say its by far the best device I've ever bought in regards to the canna industry.

Gahhh! Why can't I let go of my cloud evo. I just love that thing for flowers. No, I have not upgraded to the herb nail because I have other VAS items in priority. One day (that cannoisseur code still good?).
