The Dr Dabber Pen

When I hold the button down for a while the tip will blink blue, what does this mean? Will it blink before the battery is low?
The blinking light is a signal that you are overheating your battery. It's also a signal when your battery is out of juice.

Reposting this question, in case it went unnoticed at the bottom of my long review:
I answered your question 4 posts above your post.

If there is still life left in your atty, there is no reason to change it. The only reason would be decreased performance.

Dr.Dabber,
My Dr Light is getting really hard to pull. I let my atomizer soak in iso for a few hours and it cleaned it up well enough. Still seems like hard draws like it's clogged or something. There's build up on the side of the atomizers too that's not really coming off with iso.

So after reading a bunch of this thread I decided to buy a Dabber. It arrived today and is charging as we speak and I won't be able to try until tomorrow. First impressions are good so far. I thought it would be nice to have some preloaded atomizers. I have read a bunch of this thread and haven't seen this mentioned so far. If you want end caps for your pre loaded atomizers the Arizer Air end caps are a perfect fit. They are silicone and are $5 for 4.

Any chance there is any coupon codes available? I'm thinking about ordering the Dr Dabber prescription bundle or either something from Source Vapes. I'm new to vaping concentrates.

First time poster but I've been thinking about getting a Dr Dabber for a few weeks now. I plan to use the Dabber with oil cartridges instead of waxes and I don't see many comments/reviews on that experience. I know the Dabber will work with the oil cartridges but are the experience/reviews as positive or do you all think the Dabber is best for waxes and I should look into something else for oil? I went to a local recreation store and they told me it wouldn't work with cartridges which from my research isn't accurate. I'd love to hear some first hand experiences or advice if you guys don't mind.

Thanks in advance

I'm using my charger for my DD pen and I was wondering if there is another way (besides length of time) to know when your pen is recharged?

Yes. The little light on the charger itself turns from red to green. :)
Thanks. The other thing I was wondering about is the temp of the pen. The vapor(smoke perhaps?) is really harsh. This is with different concentrates too. I even got the lay back recycler to try and lessen the coughing but it didn't help. It's like in the days of old we would use oil on aluminum foil sheet and use a lighter from below. The oil would start to smoke and you'd inhale that at your own risk. You'd cough your ass of which is pretty much what's happening now. You think I just got a bad pen or is there some other reason I'm missing. When I use the same product out of my Haze 3 it's no problem whatsoever very smooth and tasty. Appreciate any info you'd like to impart. Thanks.

Imo, it's not a bad pen, it's just that the heat may be higher than you are used to. Are you keeping the button pushed in the whole time you are hitting it? That might be part of the problem. I tend to pulse the button a bit so that cool air is mixed in and the atty doesn't overheat the concentrate.

While I was cleaning my Hercules sr74x, I took out my dr dabber. Like momofthegoons, I used to pulse. It gives a much smoother vapor. Now, I put a rice size dab and pulse to soak the wick. Then, I take one hit til the light starts flashing. More of a dab like experience and thicker clouds. The convenience of the dr. Dabber is great.

I discovered that soaking your wick with your concentrate before taking your first hit helps with all my pen vapes.

Thank you. I understand that it works but I guess I'm looking for exeriences/reviews using the cartridge as opposed to a wax or shatter. Thanks
