Congratulations Stickstones.

Quick question people, has anyone ever had a false start on their Evo, were you toggle the switch and it goes green but stops heating? I've had that happen a few times before when I had my Evo working.

Yes one time , I'd wondered why I didn't get any vapors on a
fresh ELB . So I'd unplugged it for a few minutes and restarted .
It worked fine after that .

Yes. I can't for sure remember the reason why, but I faintly recall that it is the firmware when several conditions happen simultaneously. Returning the knob to 12 and toggling the switch frees it up; then set it to your desired knob position. Not really a problem.

I had my first glass casualty... Would have posted in the pics thread for such things, but alas there was really nothing left.

Picked up my HT & as I carried it across the room the Hydrafoot that I didn't realize was still in it dropped to the hardwood floor.

On a related note, if you buy a Hydrafoot I recommend getting it directly from VapeXhale. The two I have gotten from them were both different (one has a smaller base & has a ground joint) but both feel solid and heavy. When you flick them with a fingernail they have a solid sound. This now-in-a-hundred-pieces one was from Vaporwarehouse. Wider base than either, but felt lighter and really cheap. Flick it with a finger and it sounded with a "dink" that sounded cheap. The glass was thin & one side of the base was noticably thicker. Not even worth the couple bucks saved. Replacement ordered from VXL.

thanks @Vessel , I can't tell you how stoked I am to work with the vxl crew on any level! The Cloud/Evo have been at the core of my collection for years and it's an easy recommendation for me. Ultimately I hope to be able to bring you guys answers, tips and, of course, the best deals available for this vape.

you can always pm me for the latest deal vapexhale is letting me offer you guys!

I've had a few. I'd just turn the unit on and off and it was fine. Never figured out what would cause them.

It happened probably 10 times over the course of this year. But keep in mind, I was running my EVO 4-5 hours straight a day and was power cycling the entire time.

I was told in a previous post that solid green and red is an alternative to the blonking lights. But both indicate auto shutoff

I thank you for appeasing my worry...although I do seem to get a green flashing light sometimes also (not red and green alternating) everything is working great, and I'm off today. Vigorous testing is needed ;)

I left my EVO running for ~ 40 minutes the other day, the unit started flashing orange/green. I turned it off and on and all was well, has this happened to anyone else?

Stickstones set me up with a good deal on an EVO with hydrabomb hydratube with 1 glass nail and 2 elb's.
I got it yesterday and found it smaller than I anticipated and the airflow a bit tight but I can see its designed that way to deliver the needed temps for good vaporization. this will definately be my go to vape at home and I need to do more testing to see whats good for me.

Fwiw, I just had my EVO (s/n 22) updated, and find that the new bamboo is more restrictive than what it replaced. With every Cloud I've had, more so with this latest, I've had to re-discipline myself to take a relaxed, steady draw just up to the point of its whistle. This technique IME yields large comfortable clouds.

That's pretty much the technique I've settled on when hitting mine (had it about three weeks now) after starting off very slowly and gently. That produced decent results, but a quick, thick cloud hit is what we want, though, with a vapor bong, right? I also think that I've benefited from a more finely-ground product than what I used with my EQ.

What was the deal if u don't mind me asking?
I got Evo fever...

I couldn't recommend Stickstones or the EVO more. Join us!

Due to whatever reason vapexhale has about posting prices What you need to due is msg
stickstones (a well known and knowledgeable individual on this site) He has the hookup with Vapexhale for all of FC and I love this VAPE!!!!!!

Just start a conversation with him and ask about the EVO let him know which of the 3 hydratubes you want with it.

So far I found I like starting with the temp at 1 o'clock for a few hits. then stepping up to 3 o'clock for a few more hits and finishing off at max for the last few hits. ABV comes out dark dark brown. If its just me using i load an ELB 1/4 of the way. If I am with friends i'll load it 1/2 -3/4 and all feel good.

Sounds perfect for the end of the day, but if I'm starting my day with the vapexhale I can get a lot more done in a day - and a more energetic effect - by starting at 9 o'clock, going up to 10:30, and finishing at 12.

Especially
with sativas!

Hell of a deal, I must say. My friend's GF was going to get this vape for my friend for his b-day, but when my friend saw the deal I got from Stickstones, his GF bought him the piece instantly :p

I might be sending even another referral towards Stickstone's way soon :)

The Evo is some serious vaporizing equipment. The fact I can instantly switch between hash and weed between hits is phenomenal.

After a little over a week of being in the shop for warranty repair my Evo is on it's way home. Just wanted to report that the people at the shop in PA seem to be doing a lot better now that everything has leveled out business wise. I am pretty eager to try this unit out as before I felt that my Evo was lacking a bit compared to my other previous cloud units. On my previous Evo I wouldn't be able to get much vapor at 12, it was only until I moved it some more towards 1:30 that it started vaping; Anything much higher like 2:30 plus seemed to be much too hot for a proper vaping session.

So I hope everything is well dialed in on this unit coming in, any suggestions on testing the unit? For a lite stress test I think I'll have it on for a good amount of time, 3-4 hours at least.

I have two OG Evo's still running like champs. Today was an all Evo day. Have been doing some beta testing of other vapes as of recent and sadly Evo was getting neglected. Put that to an end today. Missed it. Sometimes i go on a non water filtration kick (the Evo does work well dry but i rarely use it that way) and move away from the Evo for a few days or even weeks. But when i come back, i am reminded how much cleaner water conditioned vapor it, and simply that the Evo does that best.

I need some new EZB's but from someone who has tried it all, the Evo still is king of monster water conditioned hits. Cheers all.

What do you mean by OG EVOs, if you don't mind me asking. I had one of the original IndieGoGo ones and now have ordered a new one. Is there a difference between them?

I was a beta tester for the VXC and the Evo. I paid for both of the current Evo's I have like everyone else but the one I am using currently is one of the first. I believe it is number 7 off the line judging by serial number. The second one is a smidge later from the Indegogo campaign

I've been thinking about getting a desktop vape to take the strain off my Mighty and I think I'd like an Evo..

I still have a little saving to do, but can anyone tell me if Vapefiend is still the best place for someone in the UK to purchase from please?
Has anyone seen any sales for UK customers?
I keep seeing offers for people in the states, but haven't seen any equivalent deals in UK or Europe.

I still haven't decided which Hydratube to go for either. :science:
I don't have access to concentrates, so it'll be flowers only for me.
