Got my mini torus in from steven , The craftsmanship is great but the mouthpiece is crooked......

The dp-mini (it's in the middle) prototype is complete! I think this one looks good, the only thing I've asked Jane to change is the mouthpiece. It should attach to the can higher up, like on the fc-mini.

No disrespect Intended but those two pumps aren't going to work well,if at all. Those need revisements before being put into production.The dp-mini (it's in the middle) prototype is complete! What makes you say that? It's not immediately obvious to me why either might not even work. I've been kinda curious about diffusion pumps but have held off on the current 710 because a thicker base is more appealing.
It's a 14 on the center, an 18 on the left.
The left one looks like the water level would be about 1/3 of the way up the mouthpiece tube, but it should still work. I haven't worked with them on that design previously.
The dp-mini, in the center, should function well once the mouthpiece is properly positioned at the top corner. That would allow for good water levels and cross-chamber clearing. Also in this design the bent downtube actually blocks the splash from the perc opening and diverts it to the sides. I don't know why they moved the mouthpiece down from the top corner of the can, but I asked to have it corrected.
Steven/Jane want to know which style people prefer, so maybe only one of these designs will be made? If you want one or the other, now is the time to let it be known!

I think water level is going to be a problem in those two pieces. If you fill it to the bottom of the pump outlet, I have a feeling you're going to get a drink every time.
Edit - i see you mentioned changing the mouthpiece location, that should fix that issue. Not sure about the rest, but we'll see. I still don't trust steven enough to be the Guinea pig for the first round

That sucks man, it seems like these pieces are a roll of the dice, could be great, could be an abomination. Yours isnt too bad though, just a little wonky. Maybe try craigslisting it for what you paid and reorder.

Wondering about the qc but 2 days to ship is quite the sexy eta.
I see a few differences from mine, however it looks like they may have changed from hooks to that button looking style for the rubber bands, but I absolutely love my genuine SB Travel bub with the same design (same size/dimension can/mouthpiece, just different perc). Cleaning is so very easy with being able to remove mouthpiece and downstem. I switched to the L-shaped mouthpiece for further separation from the torch (lotus) and better visibility. I think the 6shooter is a little more diffusion than I like, but at this pricing how can one say no? What did you end up going with?

Went with the SB clone and a 20$ mobius clone(the perc slits are probably reduced but they always use a shitty camera so idk)

Can i get a recommendation on a piece dabbing only? I have the errlectric, only going to use for dabbing. I like the FC 187, FC 1000, Mothership Torus, FC 200 stereo Matrix....not opposed to getting two pieces. Anything i have missed? Ufo? Fc cake? I want them all honestly.

For those who have been following, this is the prototype and not the finished version.
The final version will have a wider base and joint support, and the neck will be moved up about a cm so it joins at the top of the can.
Also, this piece will be listed as "Rattle Can" instead of dp-mini, so people are not misled about the size.
