The Falcon - water

there two months, I presented the Falcon, vaporizer with integrated water tank. Recueuillies many questions were forwarded to the manufacturer who has been working on the latest version.

What has changed ?:
use of a removable battery 18650
new temperature scale
the combustion chamber has been reworked. the shape (rectangular or oval) must be defined at the time of writing.
I hope so get the latest version to test soon.

In my view, the use of a battery is 18650 per account this would not have a need to revise the form of the tank, the control of water level disappeared. Filling is done with a bottle at the right dose.
The maximum temperature was raised to allow the use of concentrates. I suggested a bullet system not to mess the heating chamber and piping. The bullets were designed but I do not know if they will be included or options.
According to the manufacturer, the Falcon is coming soon. Time to make the final adjustments and choose accessories that will be provided with the unit.

To be continued

Well, I wondered when someone would do something like this. How does the tank keep from spilling? One way valves? How hard is cleaning?

I received more informations about the Falcon and i have to correct some details:

First ( is the bad new) , the batterie will not be removable as i said... it's possible for the " pros" because the unit has to be dismounted to remove it, and the warranty will probably be lost .

The Good news is that the bottom part ( removable with 4 screws) , is in fact the cap of the water tank, so it will be easy to clean it .
@maremaresing, yes the valves are one way valves

the heating chamber has changed too, it's oval now. i wait more details about the airflow because it's not clear.

it's the last part with the mouthpiece they are working on ... i have not more information for the moment

The water is easy to refill and
the next picture show how to refill the tank on the first version. the cap is enhanced on the last version but the method is the same.

time to time, you need to open the bottom cap to clean entirely the water tank ( one time per week ?)
like on this picture:

Next week, i 'll receive more information about the air path and the mouthpiece, and about the heating chamber air intake...

See you soon

Good... but their English is as bad as on some Chinese craps, might be a detail for some people but I think it doesn't necessarily inspire confidence... Apart from that it looks high-tech and well engineered.

I'm eager to get more details!

Among all new vaporizers, Falcon designers have the merit to innovate! The idea is attractive but the efficiency must also be at the rendezvous ....
I hope that the first model will be available soon for testing and that the company does not put the Falcon too hastily on the market because the first impression will be crucial to the success of their vaporizer, but like all new models, it will certainly followed by version 2 ...
An info regarding the price. It should be around $ 80 on Alibaba for Centers Wholesalers,
and the new heating chamber would require no more bullets for use with concentrates,
I wait for new pictures to see what changes have been made to solve the problem of liquefaction of the wax, for example, and the risk of clogging

The Falcon project is update/ i received the first pics of the final version.
there are still some problems to solve on the mouthpiece but the first units will soon be available for extensive testing.
I expected more information about the air intake and how the mouthpiece is isolated .
This is the most complex part to achieve as it has to suport the internal heat. For this reason, the plastic used has recently been replaced and an insulating cap system closes the top of the chamber. Once the pictures are ready, I will complete this post.
any questions...?

Well, the first version of the Falcon is ready, it will be sold next month . I am waiting for the first unit for the test.
I collabore to this project from the beginning like a consultant ( impossible to realize freely this kind of vaporizers here ,the laws are not for a legalization... ) a good relationship with Nick (Wonderful , the company who had imagine the Falcon, permits me to present them other project.
So the next will be the first vaporizer imagined in France and assembled in China
(a wood vaporizer box with special water attachment ...)

Back to the Falcon with the next pictures, but no more information about the heating chamber! i asked them many times but without very convinced responses.
i am not totally convinced by this first batch because some propositions have not been implemented because of commercial timing. So I imagine a Falcon 2 enhanced if the concept is well received .
I am very curious to see this vape and how they have solved some different problems.

Can you get this from any place (online or brick store) in the US? This has peaked my curiosity.

Received one of these to test yesterday, very interesting idea. In build quality and function its a lot like a Pinnacle Pro with the hydrotube built into the device (battery and electronics sealed in plastic, get surrounded by water within more plastic and an aluminum shell), the temps are the same i believe (poorly chosen imo, and innacurate since 470 should combust), but there are no capsules for herb or concetrates and the bowl is oval like an Ascent, metal like a Pax. The bubbler functionality definitely works for smooth hits, but taste got poor after the beginning and terrible at higher temps. Decided to do burn offs at the top setting to see if it helped, so I'll report back when I try it again. Don't know what they're going to charge, but it does have a five year warranty it looks like...

So I got mine in the mail today and after using once, I dig it so far. Still sorta afraid to move it around with water in it but it seems to not leak yet

"Don't know what they're going to charge, but it does have a five year warranty it looks like..."
Paid $120 free shipping off ebay

Edit 1: Water will spill out of this if you are not careful

Yeah spills possible, but avoidable, gotta keep it up right essentially so portability depends on that, more in house portable perhaps, given its size, but it is certainly sleek

However me and a buddy did take it for a city walk to get some take out so it was kinda neat to be able to that with water filtration all hidden away. Not easiest to hand hide though

But how's taste been on yours? So far I am very much not a fan it on mine... Makes use tough

So far taste is good. I've only used it 3 times. It is too big to "hide" and will more then likely be a house or party vape.

Even the higher temps?
Highest so far I've gone is the 3rd setting and used it once, 2nd & 1st setting twice each and so far decent taste. It's not award winning taste but I will use this alot taste. I will probably use the 1st setting the most as in I can get 2 sessions on one well grinded and well packed oven and I run each session til it shuts off. So far got 5 sessions and battery is still at the 3 bars.

Yeah sticking to low temps would be great for battery, and the top 3 temps are all too high for my tastes with conduction, but the water filter should help some. I need to try a full fine load, only done full course first time and half fine on that walk. Still feel like its plasticky bad tasty so far for me. How would your compare taste to another vape, just so I can try to guage for me?
