I sent you a DM, let's see what we can work out.

Thanks,

Ahhh my most beloved & trusty JyARz gave me confidence & peace of mind over a long weekend of festival madness. It kept goodies dry, safe & secure, as well as looking both stylish and inconspicuous . . .
Is that a Satchmo or a Chico...sort of hard to tell. Looks like a fun festival...where is it?

Hey Aldo :)

It was a mighty Satchmo of course! Heartlessly crammed to the brim for maximum efficiency!

And yes indeed, the festival really was so much fun. There were some very bizarre, insanely funny and completely spangled sights to be seen!

'Murder punk', 'Electro swing', 'Victorian rave' anyone? :freak:

Random Festival Campfire Quote:
- Dude: "Heyyyyyy! I'm like the Duracell buzzy - I mean bunny"
- Me: "Er, dude, I think you got it right the first time!"

Freudian slip? ;)

Hee hee hee

they say im crazy but i have a good time
... I've been looking for years to replace my old tin i keep my herb in. This tin case i have is ~16 years old now, we've been through some good old times. Come to think of it, it's the only thing I've used to hold my pot.

I assume like most people, I don't keep all my stash on me, just enough to get by for a little bit.

When i saw Jyarz i felt bad for my tin because i just knew then, she was getting replaced :p She is getting old, shes worn out. I've had to re-form the lid more than a few times to ensure she'll stay closed.

I'm thinking about picking up the classic Jyarz size, but what i really want to know is what size is better for loading a solo- the Jyarz or the Satchmo? I don't want to get the Jyarz if loading the solo is awkward, scooping from my tin was the bees knees!

I feel (without actually holding the product) the satchmo would be too big and bulky for a pocket and maybe even in a pack?

@just_the_flu, I use the vacuum method (suck the herb up like through a straw) for loading my Solo stems, and the Classic JyARz I keep my ground herb in work just great. Even my bent stem will fit right down to the bottom to get that last little bit of herb out. I would imagine the Satchmo and Chico would work just as excellently. My Satchmo stays at home for unground buds.

The classic JyARz fit great in virtually any pocket. The Satchmo wouldn't fit well in a pocket unless you were wearing really baggy pants (the glass core is 2 inches by 2 inches I believe)...

The Satchmo is a little chunky for pockets.
The Classic is much better and holds a good amount.

For loading, @Ratchett has a new universal funnel. I just got mine today :)
It was made to fit the SCS 3 piece size BUT it is very flexible and will work on
the Satchmo and the Classic.

Pictured below: Funnel works on all three.

Chico is great for taking to a friends house, but for loading on the go outside I prefer the Classic the most. It still fits in your pocket, holds a decent quantity for a day and mostly because it is a little more wind resistant in the elements- meaning it doesn't blow out as easily as with the Chico.

thanks for the reply's, it's helped with my decision..

I'm going to start off with the classic, but knowing how i am i will be picking up all three styles eventually...

it's great we have this resource (fuckcombustion) at our fingertips! I wish i found this place years ago.

Just put in an order for 6 JyARz. Granny Apple Green, Indigo Blue, Teal, Purple, Black, and Red. Will be cool to have 6 different strains ground up and ready in different colored airtight bottles when I go to visit my parents for Christmas. I always use regular medicine bottles on my trips and everything is dry as a bone by the end.

I'm looking to get a container to store the reclaim I scrape from my glass. Would the Chico be good for it?

On their website it states: Chico is not recommended for extremely sticky concentrated materials.
I have used a Chico for reclaim. Issue I have is, I don't have that much reclaim. I prefer to open a Chico and see it generously filled with shatter or honey oil or crumble or wax...

I've had no problem whatsoever extracting my goodies from the Chico jyar... it takes time, but the concentrate will scrape off, or release with ISO, if needed (or vodka. I prefer to rinse with vodka), without the frustration of those hideous plastic jars the dispensaries keep insisting on putting it in. I love getting my concentrates on parchment, so I can store it my own preferred way.

Once you find your dab tool that will cleanly lift the concentrate from the jyar, you are golden. Reclaim won't stick any worse... I've had my reclaim not stick at all, though. :)

I use the Satchmo to keep an eighth or 4 grams or more depending on the bud size (it can definitely hold more ground up but I don't like that). Classic for the above, or for ground material. Chico either has a choice nugget that I put away for a few months or hash/kief. Sometimes small amounts of concentrates in parchment paper. It's a nice size for a small amount of flower, it would be useful for rationing X amount into the Chico for the day and just having that around.
