Bought a brand new unit and got delivered today, plugged it in and nothing seems to be happening, manual says it needs a six hour charge, I's this mandatory? Or is there another reason my unit isn't able to do anything yet ? As you can see I'm new to both Fc and vaping in general, any help appreciated guys.

New pens and portable vapes usually need to be charged fully before use. The amount of time depends on the unit itself. So, yes, this is the usual process.

What we can do about your boobs is another story though.... I'm not sure we can help you with that. :D

sorry I'm here in hope of boobs

Boobs? Where??

Um anyways...Yeah ...follow the instructions... Charge completely and then see what it does. Maybe do a burn off or few at max temp first..
Good luck

I dunno what a storm pen is but if its like most e-cig type thing you need to make sure the center pin of the attomizer is making contact with the center pin of the battery... Sometime either one have to be nudged up or down...

  :brow: :lmao:  You all beat me to responding!!!! Curses for being on the Left Coast with our time difference!!!

I have no idea what this picture is about, but there is a boob! hahahahaa!

What a way to start the day!!!

If it's the storm from vapefiend there is a thread here if you haven't found it yet

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/storm-vaporizer.17773/

In one of my posts on the last page I go into a little detail on lights/what you should see while charging, if it is this one you should see some lights while charging.

The reason for the initial charge being longer than normal is to activate a little extra cell capacity, this only needs/can be done for the first charge after that you just charge until it's full (although partial charges are fine too)

The cell (battery) should come with a partial (storage) charge so should work straight out the box (5 clicks will turn it on and you should see flashing lights)

If it is this storm and you still have problems I would suggest contacting vapefiend, if your in the UK give them a ring or if outside the UK use their website to get intouch, hopefully you have already got it sorted out but if not and something is wrong with the unit I'm sure vapefiend will lookafter you.

Let us know how you get on

That's false advertisement!

:D

yes, charge your batteries for a long time before you fire it up the first time, so you get the most life out of them that you can. But after that, don't overcharge.

It's mandatory that it has enough of a charge to operate, and if you've read the instructions you'd know how to tell, via the LED's, how much battery power you have, if any. Since you asked about this about 30 hours ago, by now you either have a working vape, or you can contact Vapefiend for warranty service.
