:science:Hey guys.. Just got my arizer air and I have a question straight out of the case lol... When heating the aa does the blue light continuously flash light and dark blue when it's heated?

Now I'm getting a flashing yellow led?

I charged the battery for 5 hours it said it was charged via solid green.. Turned it on waited for solid blue... Got that weird flashing light and dark blue and started vaping... Then I got the shut down with flashing orange led?

Sorry mod.. and thank you...

Think I figured it.. may have waited over the ten minute shut down mark.. Getting Nic3 clouds now.. Thanks guys.. this is definitely a major upgrade from the Yocan... It's like night and day... The Aa gives off a volcano like taste (that being the only other vape I've tried at a buddies).. Tastes good.. Great Result...

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new AA and your worked your problem out. Honestly I didn't get it.. Flashing yellow lights? Basically there's only blue lights flashing (you charged your batt before as you said): right after startup when you're supposed to choose heat setting, it's the upper led. And then after you've selected and pressed the button, it's the lower led that's flashing indicating the unit is heating up until it's solid blue.
The 10 minute session shut down is just happening w/o any flashing lights. It's just cutting off the juice, zap, lights and heater off

Let us know, if you're still having these flashy things... IIRC there hasn't been such a color code phenomenon yet?

My air was turning off randomly before reaching the 10 minute limit, sometimes I would get the full 10 and others times it would shut off right after I inhale. I always use it at the maximum setting(red).

Arizer has great warranty service, they are sending me a new unit, after having looked at mine of course.
Couldn't be more happy.

How long has it been away for? Trying to work out how long I should expect to be without mine, once I get the address to send it too.

Mine started to cut out early but only with one battery, then I noticed when I placed down on hard surface it cut out
I thought would need to return also but tried with my other 2 batteries and it is all good can put down hard with no problems, lasts full 10 mins
I believe is the battery failing
Not sure but this might be the battery it came with

I think that it's at least possible counterfeits can show up. Amazon is not in the business of keeping random sellers honest? Nor am I sure about the UK.

However, I have bought 'name brand' 18650s through Amazon that look good but actually test at a fraction of the normal capacity. Either fakes or rejects I figure?

I suggest caution. Good luck with it, get the real deal and you're in for a treat for sure.

Good luck.

Unless you're in some place like the UK (like the OP)? That can change the rules.

I bought my Air from Vapefiend in the UK and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
They sell official gear and if you call them, they're really friendly, helpful and offer honest advice (and maybe even a discount code ;) )

Hey buddies,
check out this sweet shisha glass MP. hits so nice and cool. totally forgot about that thing, since I don't "smoke" all that stuff anymore.

its a KAYA Shisha Wave Classic (27cm ~ 10/11" length) adapted with a small piece of silicon tube onto the stock stem (plastic tip, screwed off). fits nice and snug and cooools the vapor - dont need a WT. You can nicely see the vapor rising when drawing, a lot of space. :D

EDIT:
fuck.. those pics got huge. well... sorry

My Air has now completely failed. No power on now matter how hard I press. The buttons are useless.

The Pinnacle Pro I have has a bad battery, so can't use that either as a spare. It doesn't work at the moment even plugged in. I didn't bother Warranty returning that as I went off it after getting the Air six months ago.

I seem to be the only person on FC who has had a failed Air, but in my personal experience portable Vapes seem to be very unreliable as I have a 100% failure rate so far. I resorted to combustion last night, which wasn't particularly pleasant after so long. Although combustion has many drawbacks, one massive plus for me right now is that it's extremely reliable.

Despite good offers on a replacement Air, I've spent more to get one through Amazon Prime. This way I can be 100% certain that it will be here tomorrow. I figure spending more for fast delivery is worth it for the sake of my health. I just hope this Air lasts at least until I get the original back from being repaired, as I'm still vulnerable to failure with only one portable available. Who know's how long that could be, as I still don't have the address yet to send it off to.

@spiggot I also had a failed Air, bought from everyonesdoesit. Worked for few sessions then failed completely. Had it replaced without much issue. Hope you get yours sorted

Yeah after 10 minutes mine beeps at me and flashes and turns off... I'll try to record it next time... I like it... reminds me to turn it back on instead of smoking dead air... This unit gets me ripped... Not bad for 20 mins and a .5.. I'd recommend this unit to anyone... But don't take my word, I'm just a noob... Plenty of pros on here will back up the aa... Vape on!!

Knock offs tend to be a little cheaper don't they? £119 seems to be in line with the legit AA, which seems to holding its price. Fair price; worth every cent. As are the legit AA batteries, which everyone needs at least two of. I'd say £135 is a little steep. But shipping and all that, I guess. Everyone needs to make their money.

I did a quick search on amazon out of curiosity and didn't get any AA hits. Lots of cases but no vaporizers. Maybe you got the last one!

Damn.. You missed it by few weeks.
You could grab one on Massdrop at around 100£ includes shipping.
I had one of the 1st batch Air, but really hated it as it over cooked my materials, and almost burnt some times which was very opposite to the Solo.
So I had to replace it to Alfa and say good bye my pity Air. .
3 month later I randomly decided to give one more chance to the Air and quickly grabbed one on Massdrop.
Luckily it arrived less than a week without any custom dutys attached so I could save another 40~50 pounds. And my new TI Air, really changed my thought of it.
Unfortunately Massdrop no longer carries Vaporizers, so no more good deals.. However I think you can still save 15 pounds by ordering it from Namastevapes, as they are selling it for 145 pounds with their 10% discount codes. I do regularly order my vapes from Vapefiend, but I rather choose that extra 15 pounds and Namste, also take care of their clients as well as Vapefiend.

A short question in behalf of a friend just purchasing his Air . . . I don't know the unit well enough to answer him and my Search came up short (probably due to my unfamiliarity). Anyway, can the Air be used inverted with a PVHES GonG adapter? What about attached to a glass piece with a whip?

TIA.

Yes I've used my whip set up and I have used my D020 Bubbler also the Pinnacle Pro Micro Shower tool. It fits well with glass. That's a 14mm WonG with that whip. I've posted this pic before. I also have a picture with the D020 bubbler a few pages back. Our FCers friend @Ed's TnT made this. I sent him the whip. It's the one used with the Herbie (Herbalizer).

Thx very much @CarolKing. I found the pic of your D020 rig, too. You've confirmed my friend's hopes.

Now he has in transit his Air and all manner of paraphernalia to go with it. This coming week-end I'll be helping him with setting up his glass rig for his new toy. So I guess I should thank you for that, too - I think. :hmm: :)

Call Randy at puffitup and ask for price including European shipping.

Also ck with Planetevape see what their best deal is. I bet you can buy from puffitup or from Canada cheaper than the UK even with international shipping.
