Thanks for the video. The vape looks pretty easy to use, but I do hope that it's possible to get a more even extraction. By the looks of it from this video, it doesn't beat my vapman in even extraction. However, I heard earlier reviews that it was possible. I don't remember from whom.

Wasn't my best work. I was heavily medicated before i even started the video. Even extraction is very possible and much easier than the VM IMO.

I wonder if the ones that are pre-ordered through the site are going to be the final version with the more twisted inner glass tube and the revised mouthpiece… Anyway, looking forward for the Ti after getting the hang of the basic. I hope it gets to me before the end of the month cause I am moving to another address afterwards. :)

-no need to grind. It's something we are so used to with most vapes but after George said it's not necessary I tried it and yes I think it works better without grinding. Extraction is amazing really for not stirring and being unground.

That's really strange my experience was the opposite, when I tried the vc with tiny chunks and even a coarse grind, the extraction was light brown in some areas and super dark brown in others. But with a fine grind it's perfect. Maybe I'm heating it up differently? I've been holding it right to the blue of the flame and slowly turning.

Edit: also maybe it's because I'm using a finer grind but I actually get clouds, not as thick as my solo but definitely noticeable.

A finer grind usually results in more visible clouds. I was able to get pretty uniform results with a tiny chunk of herb. For me, not packing the load helps in even browning. Also, leaving an air gap between the cap and the end of the bowl. Sounds like it'll come down to personal preference and heating style.

yes it will all come down to personal preference.

I'm just relaying to everyone that grinding isn't necessary. Yes the extraction is complete, and crumbled up everything is the same color...

With grinding, for me, the avb could turn out too dark for my preference.

I heat toward the end with the poker outer.

edit: I'm taking the vapcap challenge where that is the only vape I use.

I wonder if its been considered having a larger sized cap and stem. Like a wider diameter. Just given my tollerance I'm worried that I'm gonna have to repack a lot to get to where I like. Have any of you beta testers noticed that?

Didn't someone say they could load it with .1g? If so, that should be plenty for most people for a single load. I would think.

Edit: I suppose I should rephrase that. .1g is a good size for me. The bowl/screen I usually use with Venus hold about .1g.

I hear George is actually working on a slightly larger version just for you.

Loved the DynaVap. Did exactly what it was designed to do. For me, there was no learning curve whatsoever. Load it up.........heat it up......wait for click............draw. Great little vape of when you're on the go. I was actually kind of surprised about how well it vaped.

For it's intended purpose at it's price point, I don't think it can be beat.

Dear god! Iwein isn't criticizing or finding concerns? Is this the Purple Days thread?

But seriously. Everyone seems to be liking their caps and I am thrilled. Even some of the tougher to impress members. Can't wait to get the rest of mine and the Pyro.

It's a great little device for sure. Very much worth the money. A loosely 3/4 packed bowl and a couple heating cycles and I feel how I want to feel. I don't have a high tolerance though. Luckily packing and unpacking are easy enough it hopefully won't too much of an annoyance.

Simple elegance. That's how I would describe it.

@cybrguy I know you were busting @lwien 's balls but it does work with a pretty small amount of material.

Yeah, from the thread and their site I am pretty confident I want one of these and I can even afford one. :) I'll be ordering one as soon as I know the site is working again.

If nothing else I'll get some use out of the 2-Pak of butane I bought for my Lotus right before the Zion arrived...

I saw the all Ti version!!!! It is awesome, a work of art.
Does it still look like the picture George showed us before or has it changed since? Man I just can't wait for my OG VC and a Ti VC then probably a color VC if I have some extra cash even though I don't NEED it but because I love George and everything he is doing and done, I might as well. Plus, it's cheap and I can have a VC for each look haha like carry the full Ti when looking professional and buisness-like then carry the color whenever I break out the tie-dye. Oh man I can't wait for this thing. It may actually replace all my other vapes since I hate constantly charging them and all of them require so many accessories. This would actually be a great travel vape! I forgot my mflb's battery charger on a trip once and was so sad when I discovered that the batteries were dead and the charger was at home. With the VC, anyone could pick up a lighter anywhere for like 2 bucks and it wouldn't be a waste since they disappear or stop working eventually so an extra is handy. How well does the actual cap that goes over the chamber/bowl/oven stay on the VC? If it were placed quickly into a pocket or something without being put in the case is it loose enough to fall off if it's rubbed the wrong way or will it stay put until you want it to not? Did I mention I'm excited for this thing? Oh and have the orders that have shipped gotten a confirmation email or something before it got to their place or did it show up as a surprise in the mail? I'm pretty sure this thing will travel with me as much as my phone does.

Ok, I got two concerns. These may already have been addressed but here goes........

One.......being that it's recommended not to clean with ISO, how do we clean these?
Two.......It would be nice if the metal cap fitted just a wee bit tighter so it wouldn't accidentally come apart in transportation when filled.

And what I didn't like about the PD was the internal charring that went on.

(God, I feel soooooo much better now. I thought I lost myself for a moment there.)
