These new lids are great. All of you HAZE owners who like to pack your herb in the cans and put the silicone lid on, will love the new dry herb stainless steel lids. The dry herb lids are no longer silicone, now they are stainless steel. This was a great addition to the DUAL V3 and works extremely well. The lid and air path both have tons of small holes in them which results in a more durable, and better tasting experience.

The new wax/oil lid is another design improvement, very simple design. The DUAL V3 is an outstanding unit. I like everything HAZE has done for the DUAL V3. Haze has done everything I wanted to see in their new unit. I would still like to see a battery checker so you can see how much life is left in the battery in the unit. I do also love the black glass mouth piece which I heard that it is manufactured in a very low quantity and not as standard.
To be clear, the DUAL V3 comes with a clear glass stem, but with enough interested people I’m sure HAZE will adopt the black glass. Maybe even matching stems for the color of your unit???

I like pretty much everything about the HAZE DUAL V3. The HAZE is by far the most versatile vaporizer on the market. HAZE is definitely revolutionizing the vaporizer industry with not only their ingenuity, but also with their pay it forward program and their 10 year warranty. It is apparent, HAZE is here to stay and keep improving. A lot of companies may claim similar things but HAZE actually does just that, they are improving at a rapid rate. I have not seen a vaporizer company put out as many models in just one year. I can now vape both my herb and concetrates at much lower temperatures and truely enjoy them.

I would rate the DUAL V3 a 4.6 1/2 out of 5. With the way HAZE keeps improving, I may run out of numbers! I have to keep room for improvement.

All in all I would absolutely recommend the HAZE DUAL V3 to anyone. It is so versatile it’s hard for it not to suit your needs!
I can’t wait to see the next version of the HAZE already!

Since somebody warned me not to buy a V2.5 so close to the release of the V3, I looked to the official Haze pre-order page; it doesn't return me an estimate of shipping costs to the UK for the "On The Go Kit" I have my eye on. How much am I looking at on top of the 260USD=170GBP?

Secondly, I understand this device uses a 18650 battery - will I be able to buy generic 18650 batteries and use them in the Haze, rather than buying "approved" batteries from specialist vape shops with unnecessary markups?

Depends what you mean by "the normal 18650" 18650 is just the battery size nothing else, and there are too many different ones for me to list here, the battery used by haze (XL battery) is a Panasonic NCR18650BE (good quality battery) with a custom PCB (I have taken mine apart (don't do this) and it does look better than normal quality and more going on than usual)

The risk of buying anything else is getting something fake/bad quality and ruining your expensive haze for the sake of a cheap battery (I'm not saying others can't be used but you need to know exactly what your buying and be confident it is what it claims)

My advice is always stick with OEM unless you understand the risks of what can go wrong and how, if we were talking about something like a standard alkaline battery I would say go nuts try em all, but we are talking about something with the potential to go wrong in a big way (I have made quite a few go boom (that was the plan) and even the safer chemistrys that shouldn't vent flames and explode have done)

IMO it's not a marketing ploy, what haze have done is sensible and it covers themselves as well as us, they can't test every battery out there, and there are so many fake/bad quality batteries out there that could cause damage/harm to not only the haze but haze customers and their homes, basically they are providing a known safe option for us that has been tested to work with the haze.

To answer your question on batteries it looks like my Haze loyalists have beat me too it! Thanks again to @woolspinner for pulling the info and thanks to @UnshavenFish for putting it together!
