Sublimator Eliminator

Anyone seen this yet? I just got a hold off it and well...
I'm kind off dissappointed cause i bought it after watching the Vapefiend video Telling it would be on temp at around 20-30 sec.
I could not have been more misinformed then i have been now. Seems it kinda is a rebuilt, remade version of the sublimator UFO... Or I'm missing something.
I cannot argue about how it has been built cause that is top notch sort off.. except for the screw thread inside the titanium mass where you put it on the bowl. Rest of the machining is uber nice it has sublimator engraved etc, it has a titanium nail to do your oils on, basically it is made completely out of Titanium. It has much improved since the UFO. Oh i forgot it also has a Carb cap for when your doing oils.
But here is my thing, where are these improvements in materials etc shining then? heating it up? taste-wise maybe?
I'm not sure.
I tried heating the sublimator Eliminator up the same way Vapefiend did it in his video. It was not even near temp lol.
Then I figured hey the equilibrium needs to be achieved so i started heating the titanium mass just as i used to do it with my UFO.
The mass heats up near a minute thats pretty good allready, But same thing as with the UFO, you have to redo this a few times to get the bowl up to temp and get the sublimation process going. 3 redos should be okay.
You can use some spit, a wet finger, to feel the bottom of the bowl near the teflon and check if it sizzling or not.(NOT TO FORGET THIS IS ALL PRETTY DANGEROUS)
Cool part is with this version, there is a metal handle to operate the heating element with now instead of a chain, shitty part is it gets hot with usage... not red hot but hot enough that you can only just hold it at the backend of it between thumb and index finger.
Back to heating it, after initial heat up is completed u can load it up and start sublimating.
It is best to reheat 30 secs after every hit to keep temp up. Equilibrium etc.
I've tried herbs only and with oils and must say taste is amazing with titanium. I've only tried the stainless steel version before and this seems whole lot better when using oils for taste. I thought anyhow taste was allready amazing with the sublimator. Very oily and the effect.. wow.

I was just wondering if someone could chime in, if i was doing something wrong heating it up i don't know..
Thanks in advance!

greetings

Interesting. I used a UFO for a few months, was nice, but too cumbersome and dangerous. Did you use a powerful enough torch? I used a plumber's propane torch with the UFO, was the only torch powerful enough to heat it up quickly. This one looks much more easy and fast to get to temp (at least in the video you posted).

I use a plumber torch something of the kind as you speak of @Mister G. It does take less time to get up to temp. I was using the wrong nozzle for the torch :D.
Im using a bigger nozzle now gives bigger and prolly hotter flame. First heat up i get it up red hot!
Its just the way it is shown in the video is not accurate to get it up and working. :(
This is why i bought it. Thought it would get up and working in 20 secs like the man says in the video.
It is more like 4 mins or so depends. Now that im using the bigger nozzle the handle where the thermal mass is on, gets really hot :(. suck but bearable.
Thermal mass is red hot in about a minute. Thermal mass is part that sits in the bowl. I have to heat it directly otherwise it would take ages to get it up to temp the way shown in the video.

Edit: Its a bit easier to work with overall i have to say, I have been using it since it arrived yesterday. The torching and the heat you just have to learn and work with. I was using the UFO a bit again just before the Eliminator arrived, I thought that it hit me way harder then the adapt a bong ever hit me :s.
Taste is also more intense etc which is why i will be torching the fuck out of this thing again and the UFO. Fun to use but still, dangerous.

Doesn't sound right. My UFO took exactly two minutes and thirty seconds to reach initial temp (I used a timer every time) I would hold the UFO top with pliers and torch the metal mass rotating flame all around it, then seat it in the atomizer and torch both together for about 30 more seconds. Then one or two draws and I'd reheat it mostly from the top while it was seated in the atomizer for 30 - 45 seconds for subsequent draws. 4 minutes sounds way too long for initial heat up.

I have much safer analog vapes that I use if I don't go electric, so my UFO is put away for good pretty much and saved for zombie apocalypse.

So I'd recommend Triihouse or Lotus or Vapman or VapCap over this thing unless you are really a thrill seeker that loves danger and/or you just have to have that sub signature med effect, which I admit is nice.

Is correct from what i can remember 2 mins to heat up the UFO. The Eliminator takes 50 secs first heat up then 20 to 30 seconds each reheat, Its not groundbreaking but it is faster.
When heated 20 seconds u get that nice oily taste but when u go to 30 seconds it start to really heat up and darken the herbs more gives lesser taste but good hit overall.
When i mean 4 mins it is more or less the total process to get it up to working temps. Initial heat up 50 secs, about 45 seconds of sitting it in the bowl, then reheat 30, sit in bowl again for 45 ish, reheat 30 and use. ok thats more like 3 mins but still.
When you heat the top you better have some oils ready to dab on there and put that carb cap on!
It doesn't do much more then heat the Titanium nail. The six holes on top in the Nail/plate lead to a room under the plate where all oilvapors are collected to then be pushed into the bowl.
The heat doesnt transfer like I would have wanted here.

I hear you on the safer options but I guess i like it this way, it get me more medicated in some way and i think my Sub Adapt-a-bong is not functioning properly. Torch version functions way better atm.
I have other options but the Eliminator grabbed my attention cause it seemed to be heated up in no time, I would not use it outside of the house tho.

I'm a torch powered vape lover hehe I'm using all the ones you mention except for the lotus.
But when I'm home I just got to have that Sub hit!
Signature effect is nice i gotta say indeed!
To finish this, no i'm not a thrill seeker I have had my share of burns with this device but it remains an effect that is above all the others I have :).
Strong long lasting not much materials needed.. Better extraction with the torch powered which make me believe I have a defective Adapt-a-bong.

Any updates? This unit recently caught my attention and the lust is real. After reading the limited comments, I'm a little concerned.

How are you concerned?

Maybe i should ave talked a bit more about it but k. It works very similar in terms of the UFO sublimator.
Torch operated, heating time is ok lets say 3-4 mins. Not that big of a deal. And well it sublimates :).
Torch operated nail users etc could be alover this one. I like the part where The Nail now Nicely vapes oils instead of leaking them into the chamber where the green is. Also the vaporcap is a nice addition. I never was much into oils but now when i can get the sublimate I do it a bit more the dab thing. It is an improvement overall when it comes to the UFO which i very much liked before the Eliminator.

Havent' cleaned it up alot up till now. Just took the bowl off and torched it clean. The atomizer may need some iso to get clean once in a while but for the most part i try to save it for future dripping :p.

About safety, I have yet to burn myself with this thing so Unless you aren't really being carefull your gonna have it offcourse. There is a handle located between the heating mass and the nail uptop. It is not too hot to handle. Just keep in mind you only take it at the very end between thumb and index finger.
