Can anyone recommend glass for a dbv? I'm wondering if the möbius , toro or other recyclers are a good idea? I want to use it for my dbv and the occasional dab. I'm mainly looking for a consistent performer. Big hits/little hits what do you prefer?

I'd go with the fc ufo or the fc 187. Both pair well with my ebb.

I actually really like the perc! It is just 7 holes ( in a uniform design) and hits really smooth with the slightest of chugs.The simplistic nature of the perc itself really makes this feel like a heady piece. I was afraid I wouldnt like the piece because of the perc but the function is on point!

Zero water in my UfO set up too.
I mainly medicate direct draw over using glass for conservation and flavour reasons but I enjoy rips through the UFO with the cloud buddy and Hose.I ve added my own hookah sleeved hose to make the set up easier on the eye
I looked at enricos Sublimator setup with the launch tube back in the day and decided to try glass dry with my logs.the can stays clean longer dry and cooling is ample through the perc.I PBW maybe once a week.its trippy watching vapor form in a can dry.it reacts differently and darts off at angles and becomes quite a show.
the UFO is a nice piece for those big hits.id like to see It made in a smaller version for flavour conservation,say do20 size or even ion size maybe.With the current size You lose flavour but you do make up for that with cooler hits so it evens out.
Ive asked steven to do a smaller size whip model but he wants dimensions diagrams etc and its really just removing a mouthpiece and adding a gong for a hose.
moving along it makes sense to make the UFO can joint for the mouthpiece "male" so the devastator hydratubes coming would work with the UFO .i have female angle hose connectors here and they stay cleaner than the male ones and look just as good
he ll figure it out eventually.
any suggestions/links on a whip setup for the ufo?
I've considered Herbalizers whip ($25...) or the VXL silicon whip ($10) but it has no mouth piece...

I wouldnt say pop pop pop , its no-where near as bad as a honeycomb perc , but definitly not as smooth as a matrix.
I have a quantum fab egg with a matrix style perc that is beyond smooth and honestly I think I prefer the 7 hole. I mostly notice the difference with a honey bucket. The matrix gives to airy of a hit , so much that it thins it out . The 7 hole provides the perfect air/ fuel ratio , while retaining a good amount of flavor.

Man kinda wish I waited on my order. Almost grabbed a green one from another vendor. Did you ask Steven for the specific color?
I ended up ording the 9inch torus a couple weeks ago... I had initially planned getting one of the first models of it but waited it out... Mainly I like the size... Don't really care about vortex.
Also I ordered pwnt from ss... The box came completely crushed... I opened it and all was fine except one of the drop down adapters. Not impressed with the quality of the pwnt but it works and has not leakage. In surprised because they are the number 1 shop for a pwnt. I wonder if other store have better ones....

I haven't used this piece, but I'm also considering purchasing it. I have a D020-D, and I'm looking for something very similar, but smaller. As you said, this fits the bill. It looks like Kathy's got good reviews for it too.

Dunno, if that perc needs to be covered completely with water, you'd run into some problems in terms of the height of the joint. And if that's not an issue, I suspect it won't pull nearly as smooth as a typically oriented matrix perc.

Definitely stay away from that one. I had the same thing, but from Sunshinestore. If you fill it full enough for it to function, you will get a drink every time. If you just think of the matrix as a splash guard and fill accordingly it will work...Poorly. Chuggy to boot.

All bad, doesn't look like it will function right to me. Like was said, in order to function, the water level will be higher than the joint, and if you somehow got the water level that high without water leaking up out of the joint you're gonna be taking a drink of water every time.

So my MS-Mini clone from CCG arrived with the downstem and perc shattered. CCG offered great customer service, as usual - either a replacement or credit towards another purchase. I decided to apply the credit towards one of their new pillar pieces.

So I ordered a straight fab from stevenlmz79on on August 27th and it is miraculously here today, September 2nd, took 6 days. I thought these things were made to order?? Well looks like I got a blem that was laying around... appreciate the fast shipping but I wasn't looking for a leaning fab of pisa...
