Picked up an fcufo a while ago and wasn't happy with the stock stem (left)So I message Mike late Wednesday evening asking for a custom stem,longer,wider mouthpiece and thicker glass and a bit more of an angle.His response was simply,no problem.Less than 5 days later it shows up and its perfect.He made it exactly how I asked and got it cross country really fast.Thanks for doing what you do Mike.

Was that MP from UFO v.1 or v.2? I think V.2 is longer. Mine is v.1.
I'm quite sure I will be doing just what you did very soon. I want my UFO further from my face, and the whip just isn't satisfying.
As I may be using this with the Zion on occasion I will probably have Mike do it with a US joint.

I saw @BOBCAT's pic & immediately thought ZIIIION!
I get the feeling that the trumpeted style mouthpiece will likely work well with the Zion's wide open, unrestricted draw.
Give the Zion a water-pipe feel.

I will ask him for a couple inches more length, the wider gauge tube, to start the bend a little lower (to get a little further away), and use the US standard joint size.
And, of course, not to tell JoDa as this will LIKELY delay my purchase from him...
The primary use of this will be the FC-UFO, but I will use it with Venus as well.

I only found out recently that he offered bigger diam tube.

This looks like something I've been looking for to use with my underdog. But what is it that's in the top gong? Another stem for the UD?I had @Oregonglassblower make me a custom setup for my Magic Flight Orbiter/Underdog. I wanted a nicer mouthpiece for the whip, and the carbed adapter was a must. I am loving the 10mm plug style. The 14mm Male vape adapter with a shortened stem makes for a flexible hookup. Well done Mike. Excellent work as always. The flat mouthpiece works awesome. Love the 'sip' feeling.

However, Mike is excellent and can make it work with any size of your preferred GonG, NonG, or even one of @Ed's TnT WoNGs which I also use with the setup.

Heh, that would probably work. Or just describe it as I did above. I didn't tell him where to start the bend, but if I had I would have suggested half way. As it turns out, where he put it was better.
And, of course, if you aren't going to use it with the Zion it doesn't HAVE to be the US joint, tho the original UFO MP is one as is most of the China glass I have seen.

I've lost my 18/14 converter and need to order another one for my D20 and underdog. What's the advantage, if any, of getting one with a curve in it rather than end to end?
