I cannot read this entire thread but i ordered the end of may , my shipping date has been pushed back every month. It is now stating September. I highly doubt i will receive it September , maybe next September 2016 is what they meant as i see many people who ordered years ago have still not received a hopper. I just wish this company would come up with some realistic dates and stop teasing everyone. I find this as a bad business practice that only leads to more problems for them. I do commend them for what they have achieved so far but in all fairness , get it together and stop teasing us all is what i am thinking. I personally have never backed any campaigns , i almost did a few years ago when i saw the hopper. I prob should have but something was telling me not to. I think if i did it would have saved me a few $ but prob would not have made a difference in when i actually receive my hopper as i see they have been shipping out of order anyway. Sorry for my rant...

Quick question. I don't mean to split up the SS vs Ti comparison ... So, I take it a majority of orders have "in progress +month" on invoices. I just checked mine and just reads "in progress." Does anyone think months were removed because of an even more vague release? Or did I just win a drawing and they are actually sending my order? My estimated month is Sept but I was lead to believe that date was pushed to Oct then Dec. Hmmm.

You just made me check my order status. Mine hasn't changed. It still says in progress, and September as estimated shipping.

But in the gh latest email, they said something like they anticipated shipping date changes and would not be bumping just one month, but instead would be entering what they now anticipate as an actual shipping date.

So unfortunately I don't expect my September date to stick and am waiting to see what the new month will be.

First, thanks to whomever moved my question to this thread (totally forgot).

@Mr. Me2 thanks for checking your Sept status too.

Were you a backer, if so when?

Not him, but I have the same "In Progress. . . September" status. November 23rd, 2013. I saw a user on reddit posted his November 20th order had gotten shipping conformation for the SS back. However a backer from November 16th in that post hadn't received his shipping conformation yet either. So it seems up in the air.

I'm not a backer; I was too late to the party. Since I missed that boat, I watched, waited, and read here. Finally placed my order early June (2015) and still show September as estimated shipping. In my fantasy dreamworld, ghl will get their mass production equipment seamlessly online asap and my date will stick.

Yeah, you should expect yours in 2016. I backed on the 20th.

Hey guys,

FInally some good news here: after 2 weeks of waiting, my 2 grasshoppers finally showed up at my door yesterday :) Europe, Belgium here. Packet took a week to get here, and customs took their time !! 1 week to clear the package

For those interested in customs taxes: for 2 stainless steel GH, + 2 extra batteries + extra charger = a little more than 80 euros.

I had one early bird GH + a standard one, both from indiegogo initial campaign, all sent together.

I will do a review in the main thread but i need to test it first (and since i'm a small quantity/frequency user, it will take a little time :s )

What i can say already is that they both work and charge normally. They are gorgeous to look at (i already regret not to have taken a colored one), they feel great in the hand, they are a "little jewel of technology" i would say. They are small and still feel as "solid" as my solo in my hand.
I'll post the rest of my impressions later in the main thread :)

What kinda time was there between your address/order confirmation email and your shipping notice?

I wonder what this update will say, since the last one and the email they are setting themselves up to give out more solid info or people will be pissed. They are teetering a fine line that's getting close to make or brake, as if they weren't already I just feel it's get it right time or that could be it.

After 3 weeks of receiving and answering the address confirmation email, i wrote to Trevor about my order and he told me my reply email had been missed. But after that, it was very quick , a matter of several days. The longest waiting was the customs clearance !! (the waiting is the hardest the days before you finally get it !! ;) )

Best.News.Ever!! I've been spending the best part of two weeks waiting for my TI grasshopper to arrive.
Two years for the grasshopper to be completed was a long time but man, these two weeks felt even longer ! At least I hope the good people at customs charged the batteries for me.... ;)

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Hopefully that means my hopper is imminent.

Any UK buyers receive their hoppers yet? Did customs apply any charges? And parcel force too?

My TI hopper also arrived today: Belgium
I paid 45 euro for one Ti hopper and one extra battery for import.
