Andy, will disconnecting the blue led light that runs parallel with the power supply to the ceramic heater cause any electrical change to the nano?

Also, is running the nano at full power on the dial for warm-up time is the same as plugging in a 2 prong power supply cable straight into the nano without the dimmer? I sometimes forget it and leave it on at full for longer than I would want to. What is the longest you could leave it like that for before worry of damage?

Loving my maple nano since the day I got it, Kicks my ass every single day.

Thanks Andy and Nadia, from Canada!
If you don't like the light you can paint it out with a little nail polish, disconnecting it won't affect the performance but will unfortunately void your warranty. Yes, a straight cable is like running the dimmer on 10. You won't hurt the heater but you'll strees the maple faster. Maple and cherry are closed grain woods and they seem to crack more than the open grain woods like walnut. We have a walnut E-Nano on 10 at the shop continuously to use to test each piece of glass before we ship.

So glad I got Walnut

and I got 4 or 5 more blasts out of this much

Wish I would recorded the next bowl instead. I wound up with some of the biggest clouds I ever got with this bad boy. The second session is almost always better!

Rockin' the E-nano all morning with my new red leaf glass tray ($5) to keep things tidy. Got little ABV cup inside. Great for just sucking up herb into nano stem while my little buddy heats up. Love how it keeps all "droppings" inside tray instead of all over desk.

I've warmed up some milk and let my smaller stems on my mflb sit in it and it cleans it out pretty good, just rinse with water after, then you can use the milk to make some hot cocoa or cool down and throw it in a bowl of cereal. no iso after taste.
Awesome, glad to know it works good with regular milk.
The reason I wanna use heavy whipping cream though is to make ice cream or candy bars

Also something interesting, I checked online and the fat content of most whole milk in the US is around 3-4%, while heavy whipping cream is at 36%.

One nano stem coated with honey would be enough for one cup of hot cocoa. If you wanted more you can always look at the cooking thread. You can directly put cannabis in milk and cream and cook on low to get results that might work for ice cream.

I really love the strength of these stems, they are very sturdy and will withstand any fall that I've had. I have wood floors. I'm sure if I dropped them from a longer height they would break but I'm not going to test it out. Usually I've been sitting when I've accidentally dropped mine.

The kitchen sink might not be so forgiving. I've heard when cleaning these bad boys is when most folks have the glass catastrophes.

Glad that Epic's glass problems are behind them. It must have been a nightmare along with the shipping issues with USPS. It sounds like most things were beyond their control.

I received a fast response from Andy to my PM late Friday night about my missing E-Nano. That is especially impressive considering Nadia is gone and he is doing double duty. He wanted me to call him Saturday but I was busy, so I couldn't reach him until today, Sunday. We chatted briefly, and he explained that he's been going through some major problems with USPS, which I knew about a little thanks to FC. It was good to hear some more detail straight from the source.

As frustrating as shipping problems may be for some, I'm sure they are exponentially more frustrating for Andy. I'm not too worried about the whole shipping situation, as much as I can't wait to use my nano I'm in no rush, and it hasn't been that long anyway. The wait will just make it that much better when it arrives!

No need to go for the heavy cream. 3-4% may not seem like much, but best to have your milk deep enough in the pot to cover whatever glass you throw in. So, it is plenty.

I run at least 3 or 4 pieces of glass thru the milk on the same heating (usually two at a time) and have never had a problem with the reclaim saturating the milk (where there wasn't enough fat in it to take it all up). If you like milky coffee, just put 3 - 4 ounces of the milk in for a very nice day! Or, can make damned near anything with it (milkshakes, hot chocolate, on cereal, whatever!). Just be careful with dosage. I've found it can vary widely depending on the strength of reclaim, how much there is of it, how much milk you use, etc, etc. Also, nothing wrong with mixing it with some regular milk to dilute the strength.

Have also found it will last well in the fridge to at least one day before the original milk expiration date. I try to buy the milk with the furthest out date, and make the magic milk within a day. Usually gives at least a week to finish it all up. I've tried half & half also, but haven't left it to as close to the expiration date (half & half is usually dated pretty far out). Milk just seems easier for me to use the finished product.

Again.... be careful with dosage. Try a little for a test run when you have a chance and try to gauge from there. I'd advise you don't just dunk a bunch of sticky glass and then drink the pint of milk you put it thru. It may hardly get you buzzed, or it may make for a rough 10 - 12 hours.

Let's get back on the topic of our fav log vape. I have some Grape OG in my unit and it tastes wonderful and it medicates even better. It's a combination of Romulian and Tahoe OG.

My cherry nano is getting darker in color and is looking beautiful from the seasoning of the wood from the heating and the aging process.

You've got to respect the hands on work that Andy puts into these vaporizers. It's not something that is put together in China on an assembly line. Each one is unique in its own way.

Is the fact that some woods split more easily than others mentioned anywhere? I used to turn my maple unit to 10 during warm up and then the wood cracked/split in two points. I guess it's only cosmetic but maybe it should be mentioned in the product descriptions so people know what to expect.

That's not a bad idea, however I don't have any hard numbers to prove whether it's true or not. I'ts just my theory based on fairly small sample. As I'm sure anybody who works with wood knows; sometimes wood just cracks (on very rare occasions they split wide open) . That's why I warranty the wood for two years against cracking or splitting.

Hi Andy! Just to clarify you warranty your wood, correct? Use your own wood has no cracking warranty. So just the electronics are lifetime for FC members? Thanks for clearing up my confusion and keep up the good work!

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Just ordered a walnut model. Also picked up a 18mm gong for my new water pipe. Daddy's gonna have some fun

Andy was a great guy to talk to on the phone. He took the time to answer a bunch of questions for me. Can't wait to get it. Thanks !

@durtndur Use about what you think that you will need. Are you going for 2 hits or 4. I can get about 4 draws. I just make sure my cannabis isn't too close to the heater core. You don't want your bud butting up next to the heat and geting charred.

Try different heights to see what works. Start out with a small amount of cannabis and go up from there.

Less is usually better with the Enano. If you try to pack too much it will be harder to draw. I never measure my cannabis so I really don't know how much exactly that I use with the GonG, I can guess.

Edit
@doubledown i have the D020-D bubbler from dhgate it works really well. I have the D020 bubbler too it works well with the Solo but IMO not so much for the Enano.
