mild THC strain with good amount of CBD

hello,

do you know mild THC strains that dont make vulnerable persons freak out ?
Paranoia, heartracing and so on are effects of an overdose of THC.

Are there any mild THC strains out there that provide a lighter, soft buzz ?

I dont want to go without the THC so the CBD crew beans are not the best solution.

i read that "california hash plant" is a soft strain from DINAFEM

DJ Short's Blueberry cut provides an amazing high, with a low THC content.

The Terpenes are so abundant , they modulate the Cannabinoid profile to a near "perfect " high.

Be wary of fakes with this particular strain, there are a lot them.

Take a look at this thread some of these may work for you:

Which Cannabis Strains are High in CBD?
By Bailey Rahn —
New high-CBD varieties are constantly hitting the market, and it can be difficult to keep track of them all. To help you out, we've put together this handy list of all the CBD-rich strains in our database to help you see your options. Click the tile to navigate to the strain's profile where you can learn more about its effects, medical benefits, and availability near you.
  • Pain relief
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-epileptic
  • Strengthens bones
  • Anti-nausea
  • Counteracting THC-induced anxiety
A strain can be high in THC, CBD, or a combination of the two. Both compounds have unique medicinal properties, some of which are amplified when both compounds are present (e.g. pain or nausea relief).

But keep in mind, while the strains below have a tendency to contain higher levels of CBD, not every harvest will demonstrate a CBD-rich chemical profile. Take Critical Mass and Warlock as examples. These strains can express a high THC profile with only minimal levels of CBD, but you also see instances in which the cannabinoid content is reversed. It all comes down to how a strain was bred and which characteristics the plant ends up expressing.

Indicas- Stephen Hawking Kush, Pennywise, Sweet -n- Sour Widow, Dark Star, Critical Mass,
CBD Shark,

Hybrids - Sour Tsunami, Ringos Gift, Purple Cheese, Nebula 2 CBD, Midnight, Maui Bubble Gift
Cannantonic, Harle Tsu, Blueberry Essense.

Sativas - Island Sweet Skunk, Hawaiian Dream, Med Haze, Johnny's Tonic, Jamaican Lion,
Swiss Gold, CBD Haze

Here are some of the strains, I didn't copy all. Some of these strains I've seen and some I haven't . They have the list on Leafly - they wouldn't let me copy it for some reason.

I live in the Pacific Northwest south of Seattle.

I've tried a lot and have often been disappointed. If you can find a dispensary that actually tests their weed I'd recommend that. Otherwise reliable breeders is your best bet, the two I've enjoyed are cbd nordle and cbd skunk haze from cbd crew (shantibaba et al).

Cbd crew beans are generally 1:1 thc / cbd ... so absolutely perfect for your needs.

I still want to get high but not too high.

Been taking a break for about 8 years

I would suggest Star Tonic (1:2 THC:CBD) - Its a cross between Death Star X Cannatonic. Great for daytime and CBDs keep pain in check. Its a Hybrid so it works in most situations.

Though I am not sure how easily you can get it out-side of Michigan...

i live in a country where cannabis is illegal.

one question about CBD Crew strains:
Do you get high vaping them ?

I have tried the cbd shark shock yes, it is mellow I believe it's 1:1 6%thc 6%cbd. If your not smoking killer bud 20%+ thc regularly you will get a nice buzz. It is mostly for pain which works wonders. I would suggest something that is 20%+ thc and 3%+ cbd if you would use recreationally.
(For me sativas heighten senses and make me "paranoid"? I Don't really get like that anymore but Ide say more so with those strains)

Can vouch for the stephen hawking kush. About 4% thc and 6.5% cbd. I mostly use 15% thc indica's and the buzz was mellow with SHK. Great for anxiety, pain relief was so-so.

I only suggested getting more potent bud if when you did smoke you smoked killer bud.
A 1:1 like that is really really mellow and I can't recommend it for recreation.

Depending where you are, I don't know if any of us can be sure of how high our THC and CBD levels are unless they have been tested by labs.

I always question something that is way past 20% THC. I buy a little and if I like it I go back and get more.

I've bought cannabis that said 30% THC. It was a joke.

i cant legally buy cannabis in my country.
The only option to obtain 100%clean cannabis is to grow it yourself.

I am interested in a strain not to high in THC and also not too low in CBD :D

now i am confused. i thought i found what i wanted in the CBD crew. but now story's been told that there is no recreational feeling in those plants.

If you are planning to medicate more than once a day, I wouldn't recommend getting them. You won't be happy growing a plant for months knowing you only get a good buzz off the first smoke. If you plan on smoking at night I'm sure your tolerance would be perfect for 1:1. But in Southern California I can get lab tested flower at 10/g delivered. So I tend to pick the bud I think will vape best. I only say above 20% because if you grow it yourself you'll want something that's keeps it's potency regardless of growing conditions.

i don't know yet how often i would consume my flowers.
i am not a daily smoker but i am not a medical user either.

High THC strains scare me off because of heart racing and paranoia-esque thoughts.

mmh, perhaps i should plant 2 strains. one 1:1 strain and one THC medium strain.
Any suggestions on THX medium strains ?

I would definitely recommend planting both if your space allows. This way when there is days you don't medicate or or not often you can just take a hit or two of cbd. Then on your off days etc.. Where you might have a couple sessions you have your other bud.
In my honest opinion strains give the paranoia not the thc lvl. But I can suggest granddaddy purp, northern lights, blue dream and jack herrer for anxiety. Most of these seeds will be below 20% but that's also the threshold. So being homegrown they would all be between 11-17% depending on your expertise.

I agree. Some strains make my heart race and induce panic attacks, and others do not. I know at least one sativa I have now is over 20% (tested recreational) and I am fine with that strain. It is not a higher cbd, either.
Jack flash, I have come to realize, can send me over the edge if I am not cautious. Headband, Golden Goat, Jack Herer were all fine.

And scratch northern lights off that list and replace it with GSC(high thc but great for paranoia), it was good for anxiety but I think the skunk/haze may cause paranoia.(like in the jack flash)

Maybe not, the Aloha Haze I have now is a cross between Sweet Island Skunk and Hawaiian Haze. It is not only delicious, but I got fairly high without inducing panic. I think it depends on the cross.

I guess, to the OP, CBDs will soften the effects of THC but it isn't necessarily the only way to find strains that are "safe" for your situation, is where I am coming from.

Can i conclude that 1:1 Strains are only for medical users ?
no high? no buzz? no chill ?
Im in a similar boat as you. I stopped smoking several years ago because of anxiety/panic attacks whenever I smoked Very recently I started smoking high CBD strains for 2 reasons, 1) to relax and get a nice buzz without having to worry about panic attacks and 2) medically, to manage social anxiety and not wanting much of a buzz to go along with that. I live in Washington, so it is legal and easy to get specific information on the THC/CBD ratios in the strains i try. I have found that for me a 1:1-2:3 ratio is a nice ratio to get a nice mellow relaxing buzz without having any anxiety problems and its not something that bowls me over. Ive also tried some flowers that are very low THC, like 1% and up to 16%CBD. These work well for managing anxiety without feeling stoned. They give me a nice clear headed buzz and a relaxed happy feeling, it is really quite nice. Now the problem is that you can't guarantee what the ratio of any strain is going to be. Ive tried AC/DC and Harlequin that are >1% THC and ~16% CBD, but I've also found both strains in a higher ratios like 3:4. That being said some strains that Ive tried that have worked are:
AC/DC
Harlequin
Dance World
Cannatonic
Cannatsu
Hawaiian Dream

There are a LOT more. as I understand it over the past few years that has been a new interest in breeding high CBD strains and there are a lot to choose from.
