I took a file to the end of some tweezers, the end where they're connected and softened the tip down to a more blunt, rounded end which means I'm not ripping into the gauze if push down too hard when trying to get the edges of the gauze to rise up enough to grab with tweezers.

Long sentence!

Edit: also I pulled apart a pair of tweezers, and the bend where the two parts previously connected makes a nifty little filling scoop :-)

Got my lily today after some mail issues....finally!

Holy shit this thing is a monster! I've been an electric portable vape guy my whole career.

The game has changed! Batteries will probably be resting for a bit because I have this lily to knock me on my ass and a Vapman for those times when a pinch will do.

Has anyone with Ed's wooden stem tried using just the wider mouthpiece, without the elongated thinner stem? Curious if it still cuts the harshness vs regular mouthpiece all on its own, as I'd be interested in just a single piece stem instead of both parts
@subway13029 or @emmdeemo ? Can't remember if either of you have one or not...

I have Ed stem and have used it with both pieces and just the wider piece and I think it does make difference with one piece because it sits right up against the opening..it doesn't slide into it like the stock ones with o ring..but I prefer to use both pieces and it is nice cool hits..way better than stock..I've been talking to Jody and he has my stock ss mp and might put together a longer glass option with visual like daisy..

Nice! Thanks bud

Yeah I use my bent Solo stem, but have to hold it there separately against the o ring to make the seal, would live a long bent glass stem that fit in better, looking forward to what @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd can come up with...

So would you say it might be worth it to get just the wider wooden mouthpiece, ofcourse both pieces together is less harsh, but seems this would allow full interior cooling like i have with the Solo stem, since they both sit right up against the opening? And I don't really want the two stem system at all me thinks

daisy..it's the best...
Oi oi oi you can't say things like that in here! For all that fire Lily is still a sensitive little soul you know . . . & you wouldn't wanna go hurting her feelings now would you?

;)

Daisy is big sis, and of course Lily looks up to her big sis (as she does her older brother, Waldo) but Lily is most certainly an enchanting entity completely in her own right.

Why Lily is here with me right now, chewing on a nug, & she sure does shine. With the standard stem, she takes me back to my days of smokey combustion and reminds me of the many dry pipes I once owned & loved to use. Except the flavour is soooo much better now - I love the short airpath and the fact that it delivers the delicious goodness direct, imo retaining the flavour on even the most cloudy and monstrous of hits

Yes Daisy is good, and if you are not familiar with her performance then I would wholeheartedly recommend that you seek her out for she will most likely beguile you. But Lily is equally as charming and what's more she's pocketable so she never has to leave your side.

I love all my grrrls

Triihouse vapes?

I'm a Triihugger for sure!

MuchLove y'all

With Lily Daisy or Lily, how could you possibly not have fun? All 3? That's almost too much fun for one person. Almost ;):freak:

Still need to try Peace conduction mode with my Lily... Never use the stock mouthpiece anymore anyhow, so alreayd nice and clean for use as a chamber, and it may be even more fun with Ed's stem, super cooling with all that extra wood space with the glass conduction style

You gotta get a daisy..it's the best...
Good reply! The more I think about it I do have the vapman to fill that gap. The daisy might be the one!

I like the lily for that same reason, she does remind me of a pipe! I also use it dry with the stock mouthpiece. The warmness doesn't even irritate me.

I've been neglecting my Lily, haven't touched it much in the last few weeks, so tonight I'm devoting myself to her...small whole nugs, light draws mixed with harder draws, dancing the lighter around the mouth of the heat port...I missed this.

Question for those who had the old lily and the new one....do you notice the improvements Tommy made? In what ways does it perform better?

The deeper bowl has meant less combustion here. Feels a bit more idiot proof :-) Very much noticed the difference here.

I also never use the holes any more, but can still kill a decent sized bowl in just a few draws thru my d020. Not sure how much that relates to the updated version, but I did instantly feel I had more fine control over temps as soon as I started using the new Lily.

also have the waldo :ko: Triihouse squared? Idk there are all awesome!

I like my original Lily shallow bowl with the new heat intake. But I never really found it that harsh.

I forget about Waldo because it's not available anymore. There's a thread somewhere here on FC if anyone wants to know more about it.

Triihouse is PROLIFIC! Can't wait to see what Tommy puts out next. Each one so far has it's own unique purpose. I'm really hoping for a direct watertool hookup vape. I still need to get a Lily WP adapter, but I'm still waiting for other stuff to hit the store to save on shipping (trumpeted daisy mp....where are you?).

Yes, my old Lily's shallow bowl is not the best for whole nugs, it's more suited to grounds.

But I stuff it how I want anyway.

With the old Lily, I'd still find a way to push it too far by accident, hence the combustion. There seems to be longer leeway between the point of "getting slightly to hot, pushing it a bit too much" and "FLAME ON!" for me with the update. Means I find it easier to use with water, where I can't rely on using the heat on my tongue as a gauge of how close I am to burning/spent

Edit: also means I can shove more in her :-)

Hi everyone,

Using the Daisy at home and vapman when out, I want to know if the lily would be useful to me. Or is it vapman like vape ?
Thanks a lot.

Finally ordered a lily. Been eyeing them a while.. Pocketable is a big thing to me so I chose the lily over the Daisy.

It looks like most people use the cheap torch they sell ??

I ordered from PIU. Wasn't interested in the torch they sell... Any recommendations for a quality, reliable, torch?

It needs to be pocketable as well... More than 15 bucks, but under 50 is a good price range...

I carry an authentic IM Corona old boy as my soft flame lighter... Would love to find a torch that's even half as reliable.... At half the price too though ha-ha!
