Hm. My furniture setup is such that I have to watch the cord or I will yank the nano with it on the WP. This is sub-optimal, to say the least. Worse yet, it keeps flopping the dial around so that the setting gets changed. This is aggravating.

I'm just worried about my glass, and the finish on the nano; the power supply cord is quite unruly and I've yet to devise an appropriate solution. It's actually fairly frustrating. I think I'm going to give in and just duct tape it to my table.

Any thoughts? I'm not really the box-building type. I might have to pick it up, though.

It's mostly the temperature dial pulling on the Nano, so you want it to be on the table with the Nano. That is on the same level as the Nano. At first, I used the velcro that came with the dial to attach the cord (near the level of the dial) on the "table". At the moment, I'm using a clothespin to attach my dial to a bowl (with my weed, grinder, etc in it). The Nano stand sold on the epic site looks cool and practical too. I may get it at some point.

What a slippery slope this is, I don't even have my nano yet, but I'm already considering all sorts of glass purchases. :worms:

At least I can justify it by the amount of money the nano saves me via efficiency, right?

Still no love from the postman and my Girl Scouts were dwindling so I got them some company. So far I've only tried Burmese Kush, and it's incredibly tasty in my portable. I can't wait to explore it at lower temps. Tomorrow better be the day I'm nanofied! :science:

A cool box from HomeGoods (under $20), and some plastic clamps from ACE hardware. I have a few of these around. You can use the clamps with any kind of case, even a soft leather travel shaving kit (works really well, also hold nano and accessories. Combos are endless, but without the cord anchored, it's too long, too heavy. In pic below, the dimmer switch is actually glue (glue gun) down. The hot glue will peel right off if I wanna get it out of there, and I have 2 cords (nice idea).

Of course they sell larger clips, but these will open just under an inch (1X), good for most shelving, table tops, stuff like that.

It's all in the reflexes.
Nano is my only vaporizer that is easy to use with a water piece. I just took a great rip and thought how nice it is to be taking bong hits. Nano is my personal fav of all my vapes. Versatile and ready to go. I'm a head from the 90s. Graffix bongs and the like. The nano with the d020 reminds me of my old school smoking habits. Same ritual, better buzz and flavor. When I first got into Vaping I was afraid of anything that wasn't hi-tech. The learning curve of logs was intimidating. Foolish of me. In closing...random nano posts are fun. Nano!

Actually i'm a bit low in concentrates and I'm vaping my reclaim on a kief bed...it's amazing how much thick hits I can get get from a small amount which last only for 1 big hit on my e-nail!

0.05 of kief+0.025 reclaim(=or-) and I was chaining hits after hits during 15mn!

I might have to steal the shaving bag idea. The box looks good, but I have no saw, and need a new drill. It'll probably be the eventual goal, though probably in a smaller box.

Marvel at my temporary solution:
Gv3D7nIl.jpg

Created (crafted, forged) late last night. I can't really move the table forward because of the outlet, so I have to think something up that doesn't leave the cord bent. I don't really want to leave the cord where it's going to drag my bong off the table if it gets moved.

glad you got a set up that keeps your glass safe. That table looks like 3/4 inch, those small clips (under $5 for six) would work right there. I only use the box and case for stealth... but in all reality, you can clip right to table.

Just put the clamp on the wood, the cord will be in the space between the clamp and table edge. Take a close look at the pic, you'll see what I mean, there is no squeeze on the cord, but it would probably be fine if there were. These are low pressure, plastic clamps. These are nice in that they won't scratch anything (rubber edges).

I finally used Velcro to mount the temp control to the the end table in my living room. It works well and keeps the nano from falling. It can lead to the cord getting a bit twisted though. I tend to unplug and straighten the cord at least once a day. Thinking about just mounting a dimmer control on a box with a straight cord to the Nano over the long cold winter months. ie project time...

sour diesel and GSC in between my sage, lavender, lemon balm, chocolate mint, and eucalyptus sessions. :)

I found I like my screen upside down. (fill the cup) I think the stainless mesh around the sides of the herb conducts heat better and helps vaporize more efficiently. I noticed a huge difference.
