How are the clouds on low, visible or not? I just did a Vaporblunt 2.0 session and the flavor is so good, but there's just something about not being able to see visible vapor that always makes me feel like I'm not getting medicated enough (which sucks). It's mental I know, but still...

Clouds on low are pretty wispy, but definitely visible. On medium there is a massive increase in cloud production.

I got mine as a review unit and it's my portable of choice when I quit home, so discreet (small and just one small led) and taste is amazing on low and still nice on medium but degrades pretty quickly.

I rarely use the auto settings now, A/P is my favourite but doesn't seems to work anymore (others reported this issue too...) and A/T works without issue.

I prefer to start for 15mn on low to enjoy all this delicate taste and turn on med for 10mn when taste is gone to blow some clouds and I finish on high for 3-5 mn to extract the last bits.

Actually I get a really, really, really dense and sticky bud, I don't grind (with hands or scissors) and load the oven full when I have a car trip and I can enjoy 2x20mn sessions (first on low, and second on med+high) blowing clouds for every draw!

You can easily milk a large bubbler using med or high level with a fine grind, I only apply the mp to a 14/18 mâle glass joint and retire to clear.

When I'm low with concentrates I take off the mp and I can reclaim some little dabs in the mp hole (very clear and without too much impurities since I put a screen in the oven and I took off the mp screen too).

Nice. Thx folks. Stoked to get it.

I'm intrigued even more knowing it works well without grinding. For traveling sake that's nice.

How is the vapor compared to the Pinnacle Pro? I've never had a bad thing to say about my Pro, my favorite vape to date, but the flavor is not the best after just a few hits (I only use setting 1). That's really my only criticism of the Pro.

Significantly better imo. Better flavor, less harsh, and more consistent temperature. And the vapor lasts longer.

So I have one use in the books. It tasted fucking nasty. I'm assuming I should have run the unit empty for a few minutes first. I just took it out of the box, loaded it, got after it (on low mainly, then mid for a minute or two).

It tasted like fresh new rubber and metal fumes. Fax machine like. Please tell me that goes away....

Other than that, worked fine. Does get hot.

It should go away with some use or a few runs on a empty oven. I did not have this problem when i got my Alfa though , it was clean and tasted fresh from my very 1st puff. The only thing that is really rubber is the mp , maybe try cleaning it or running it through some water and dish soap. Also i believe there is a small rubber stopper below the oven door , you can prob swab that with some alcohol also. If it doesn't help i would do a cleaning with some pipe cleaners and alcohol.

Thx. The rubber taste is very strong, very. That's concerning to me that yours was good on the first puff. My friend is dying to come try it and I told him "no way in hell I'd let you use this thing right now".

I'll soak the rubber.

Thx man.

Grrrrrrr..... This is giving me headaches it's so bad. I've had it running empty & cleaned the mp but no difference (yet). I've tried it twice, once with ground herb and once with pulled off nugg chunks.

It even smells of the same aroma when it's running on empty.

Not calling for a replacement yet, we'll see. I'm just thinking it needs run a few more times.

But fuck, it's horrible. :shit:

Mine tasted bad for the first two uses, even after a couple burnoffs. Soak the mouthpiece in iso, clean out the whole unit with iso (including the lid and airpath), then run the vape on high for 2-3 cycles (the alfa will get super hot during this so I wouldn't touch it). If it still tastes bad after that (likely shouldn't), 2 bowls through it will make it normal.

Edit: Oh yeah, soak the screen in iso for a bit, wash it with water, dry it totally, then drop it in the chamber and then do the burnoffs.

Thx man. I cleaned the airpath with iso and it seemed to help a tiny bit. Will take your advice tho. I have kept running it on empty and it doesn't seem to help much. Really hoping it's just that 'new vape taste'....a really really strong new vape taste.

Not sure if this is related, but the LED never turns green to indicate a full charge, as the user guide states it should. No big deal to me if it stays red, but not sure if it's related to the funky taste.

It has gotten better after multiple uses, cleanings, and empty run cycles, but the strange flavor is still evident. Definitely feels like something isn't right.

It'll turn green, have you left it plugged in over night? The charge time is very long. Also, my vape never really had any taste, that's really weird. Try turning your vape to medium without anything in the chamber, and take a couple of draws, do you taste anything? If you do, try the same without the screen. If you still taste something, I really don't know, the airpath is isolated, and the only thing heating up is the steel, not sure what would create that taste.
