As to the taste on the lids: I think I have one that is unusual for some reason. The other lid has no real taste, while the one in question has a bitter, plastic additives STRONG taste. As I said, bad enough I still have the taste in my mouth the next morning.

If the taste is that bad I would stop using that lid. Maybe contact Haze about a replacement or buy a new 5 pack of them. Regardless of what you do STOP using it if the taste of plastic lingers until morning. Tjats definitely not normal

Thank you sir!

You dip that in ISO?

I typically use Q-tips dipped in ISO and the resin absorbs into the cotton. Do you just use the brush to loosen it up and something else to pull it out?

I use the brush for a quick swipe every morning, then I do like you do and soak up any ISO on a qtip.

Would there be any way to incorporate a removable glass air path? Some similar to the ascent.

I thought the same thing - especially after seeing the new Vapir Prima, which does exactly that too.

I understand the problems though w/ tolerance, but a removable SS airpath would work just as well.

Thanks @HyzerSoze ! Yes, it's here! We just loaded the page and I see you already found it. I have been using this for about 5-6 weeks now and am very satisfied. I am pretty sure you all will be too!

You know I am a can junkie so I am particularly enjoying the new SS Herb Can lids.

Feel free to ask questions folks. If I can anwer them, I certainly will.

Thanks so much for your patience everyone! We have in fact listened and will continue to do so. We owe much grattitude to the users on this forum providing candid feedback and ideas on how to make each version better. Thank you so much for that and keep the feedback coming!

Sorry man, couldn't help but post! I am very, very excited! On the concentrate can lids - couldn't gunk still leak out the top? Will the new silicone tops fit on existing 2.5 cans? Will my Ed's wood still fit, given the new mouthpieces?

at the bottom of list of changes or features for the V3 has this posted: "The Haze Vaporizer new V2.5 has 4 usable dry herb settings approximately 365F, 380F, 390F and 415F. Now you can vaporize your dry herbs at all 4 temperatures and oil/wax at the top 2 temperature settings"
that a typo? confusing having a V2.5 note in the V3 stuff

-_- sorry for double post

Regarding the concentrate lids: By design we still need some holes to allow the warm airflow which supports the vaporization. However we tested these with several folks and reports came back that they were a big improvment over the old. You can't turn the unit upside-down but you have much greater range of motion without worry of spilling your concentrate. Yes they will fit on top of the old cans. The bottom part of the cans is the same but the silicone tops and SS tops are new. Cans will no longer be referred to as multi-purpose cans. They will be called concentrate cans and dry herb cans. Lids for each will be sold seperatly or you can buy whole can sets for the ones you like. The v3 will now come with one of each.

Regarding the Ed's WPA.....The new V3 mouthpiece channel is a bit more narrow than the previous versions. This allows the height adjustable mouthpiece for stealth use. That being said we are already working solutions with my good friend @Ed's TnT . In fact I just spoke to Ed this morning and he sent me a picture of the new prototype WonG. I hope to have that for testing no later than Monday. We are even considering a step down adapter that could be available to work for either version. I will review these prototypes and make a decision with the team here.

We also didn't want to leave the original owners out in the cold (myself included) so I asked Ed if he could create an adapter to be able to use the old (larger diameter) WonG. He said no problem and will get working on that as well. I will let everyone know when this is all ready but my man Ed is on the case and getting up EARLY to please us all!

Edit: @vapebuddy13 , good catch! We are changing it now! Thank you!

Nice work Scott. Get ready. I guess the main question I'd have (since I just bought new cans and lids) is can we continue to use them in the V3 and if we buy the new herb lids will they work on the old cans? I read the mouthpiece slot is narrower. The old mouthpiece will fit in the V3?

Can bottoms are identical. They will fit in any version. New lids (concentrate and dry herb) can be place on top of whatever cans you have.

Old mouthpiece will not work in the V3. The fat part at the bottom will not fit down the vaporpath.

Edit: @HyzerSoze honestly I really don't know the answer to that. I never have access to concentrates. However there were a number of beta testers for these lids and I know some of them are on FC. Maybe someone can chime in on that subject. All I know is they are much more leakproof than the old ones. In fact they are a little thicker too so they should hold their shape longer and stay inside the can better.

How about I try it tonight and report back :D? My WonG and mouthpiece no longer fit, which is the only exception to this otherwise awesome situation, but I can still test it vertically. Now that the news is out, I'll share what happened:

After having the 2.5 for a short time, the battery door broke. As always, Haze was great, and advised that I would need a new unit. Due some details and slight delays, they offered to bump me to a V3! It's been damn tough sitting on this knowledge for over a week.

I'm not sure if they really should have shipped it when they did, and I really hope no one is going to get in trouble, but it's going to be here TONIGHT!!!

I will test thoroughly and do my best to share what I find with the group. And everyone, please dont take my story as precedent and expect to get a V3 if you send in a unit for repair. I know from my business that every customer service opportunity is unique, so please keep that in mind!

I've been kicking myself in the ass for losing my wood stem from ed along with can 5 holder a few weeks ago. I was at the local watering hole and I think it was left on the table. Knowing that it wont fit the v3 makes my negligence sit a little better in my gut haha. Plus I can place another order with the master craftsman himself @Ed's TnT

Im really excited for the new cans as well as Haze!!!

Thank u @scottg402 and the rest of the team at @Haze Vaporizers

Spill it Hyzer! I now work for the company so my opinion has diminished value at this point but I will be happy to thrown my two cents in if anyone has specific questions.

There were some units sent out already. We have limited stock now but will be expecting more over the next few weeks.

I know @bonez recieved a unit yesterday as well so maybe he will chime in with his thoughts. I asked him to keep it on the DL until the annoucment was made and I thank him for doing so. I guess he just lives closer to us than you so he got it a day earlier.

The v3 now has a dry herb can that works very well.the door feel more sturdy and the battery latch doesn't open when its not supposed to.it doesn't feel like its going to break in your hand the overall design feels more sturdy , more durable.the mouthpiece doesn't stick in there anymore.it still vapes the same but i feel like it doesn't get as hot in my hand anymore.the switch for the chambers doesn't move around that much.

Well Im in for the upgrade. Hopefully Haze will upgrade me soon. I really want to get my hands on the new V3 and put it through the paces. I have no doubt that I am going to love the new can set up. The hard part will be parting with my Haze while I wait for the upgrade unit to arrive. BTW I see that we have to pay for shipping to return the old unit. Anyone have advice on the least expensive most efficient method to return the old Haze for the upgrade program? USPS perhaps?
