So is the Clutch the official name of the piece with the Polygon 6/ 18 hole perc?
I've been calling it the Polygon 6

What do they mean by 14/20 Mobius female joint??

I just water tested the Clutch, the Scope and the new 60T Stereo Matrix. I ended up purchasing the Scope. All tested great - the Stereo Matrix was of course very similar to the original 60T, the Matrix percs do look bigger but I was going by memory of my older 60T I sold a while ago. Of the two new percs - Scope and Clutch I actually preferred the way the Clutch tested but I could tell that the Scope has more diffusion which I prefer. If you prefer less diffusion than a Matrix perc but more than say a Trichrome perc, might want to check out the Clutch - it's really nice.
I guess you can think of the Clutch as an oil piece and the Scope as a flower piece, though I'm not sure how much that matters since we don't use combustion :)

EDIT: one really nice thing about the Scope is that it allows me to use WAY more water than necessary (which I like from time to time) with zero splashback.

i had assumed the Scope would be a more diffused single matrix perc.

Also with less drag (depending on the water level)

Is this a good guess at how it functions or am i totally off?

also what is your opinion on the small base? sturdier than it looks?

the base IMO is fine, here's a pic of it next to a Binary Matrix. It seems to match the piece well and it feels quite sturdy. As you can see I've put significantly more water than necessary, which I really like and there is no splashback. Compared to the Clear Matrix I used to have, I would say this has a bit more of a chug to it and yeah, especially with this much water it's definitely a lot of cooling and the perc diffuses well so for 'flavor chasing' this might not be the best setup, I love it though since I have a very wimpy throat :)

if anybody is curious, the prices I saw were:
Stereo Matrix 60t : $520
Clutch : $440
Scope : $400

does it have more of 'the chug' even with little water compared to the Clear Matrix?

I'd imagine the Polygon diffuses slightly less than the Matrix because Polygon has fewer holes firing at once. potentially, placing it somewhere right in-between the Reti and the Matrix as far as flavor retention goes...

I would say yes to both - I remember the Clear Matrix has having no chug at all.

Yesterday, I'm cleaning my Mobius Matrix, all i did was put water in, empty water out. Did this twice, took a paper towel , wiped down the outside, went to dry off the downstem, put paper towel around my finger , push in and glass from the stem breaks off at the top? What happened, is it from heating a nail one too many times? I can't understand why this happened. Do i have an options here or is it basically garbage? Last expensive piece I'll ever buy

@Amazingkaddycap ---
can you post a picture from a little farther away, to see the whole piece and where this break is?
Also, one that shows this area AND the surrounding area--shows if there is a nub left, if it is cracked into the main body or just the extrenal is broken..
So sorry

Must be a bad month to own a mobius, I just broke my ion matrix as well but it was at the mouthpiece.

Does anyone know of any artist that do custom repairs?

Sent in some pics to glass repair, cannot fix....looks like I'm throwing it away. It's my fault it broke, i didn't think a nail being reheated over and over would cause any stress cracks...almost did the same thing to a Blaze glass peice i own....whatever

Finally found this thread !whatsup guys. Been a möbius owner for over a month now. Love my möbius. Such a work of art. Paired with any of my vapes is a treat but it's something special with the evo. If any of you fine people are interested I can take some pics of it over the weekend.

I found a Mobius Atom Matrix and I really like this piece and of course I must have it, but there is one thing about it that is making me think twice and I need some advice as I am still new to glass I woild say.

The bowl/slide has a little wiggle/play in it (at least a couple mm). There are a few of the same pieces so I had the option to try and interchange the bowls but it did not help...they all had some play in them when seated. None of the other models had this issue, just the Atom's.

None of my other pieces have any play or wiggle when the slide is seated so this does not seem right.

I am wondering if this might be a defect that's best to avoid. How much could something like this affect the draw or it performing as intended?

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Entirely unacceptable for the price. However it could be in the design i don't own this piece

It definitely is a high price piece and it really sucks that all of them (the ones I came across) are the same and makes me wonder would there really be any reason for that to be done on purpose...?

Thinking about it again, it seems that the reason for the play is that the inside of the hole that accepts the slide on the bubbler itself is tapered in too tightly at the bottom allowing the bottom edge of the slide to make contact with the glass before seating all the way in, leaving a little space up the ground joint of the slide allowing it to have some wiggle room...maybe.
