Vape for concentrates!

New to this forum and don't know much about vaping. Could you guys point me in the direction for a vaporizer that would be good for concentrates? I'm currently using a cheap e-cig battery with an attachment for concentrates, which is a ceramic atomizer with a glass dome. I'm looking for something a little more efficient that will give me something similar to a real dab. Dry herb attachment is cool too. Thanks!

You really need to get an enail (which is seriously the best possible way to consume concentrates that fully melt), or failing this, try out the dnail flower adapter or sublimator or Vapman if you wanna use non-melting concentrates.

If you need portability for just fully melting concentrates - w9tech pens are the way to go. Every other pen I have used just won't come close to the taste I get from my high end enail.

Do you have a herb vape at the moment?
Assuming it's a convection vape, wrap up a nice bit of oil in some SS wool or cotton (I find cotton "adds" something to the hit that I don't like, SS wool has worked a treat though :)), and you can vape that.

Otherwise, Mr. @herbivore21 is spot on the money :)

A bit on the high side but it is one I would like to try.
Vaporbrothers VB2
It is not quite as industrial as the E nails.

I really wish someone around me had a SiC w/sapphire insert so I could test it. Can't afford to buy one now, but really curious how different it is compared to a VXNail in the EVO and the Hercules which I use now.

Regarding the OP, I'd almost suggest looking for different vapes for flowers and concentrates. I can also 2nd the recommendations for W9Tech's products.

I will offer another +1 for W9Tech for oil Vapes. Their products are on the cutting edge of oil vaping products. Some have a significant learning curve, but the results are worth it. The Herc is a beast. The cloud/VXN really does deliver flavor hits well. But it just can't compare to an Enail for heavy dabbing. I don't have the SiC. Maybe someday. If Errlectric gets on the SiC ( or SiN) bandwagon.

For me, I find mixing a concentrate free of plant waxes with Puff Majic or EJMix (liquidizers: gives the concentrate the ability to suspend itself uniformly as a liquid), and then putting it into an ecig cartomizer works well. From my understanding, you don't need much to help liquify, but too thick products don't wick well. I use 3 parts liquifier to 1 part concentrate, but I'm a vapor-wus. Go strong. Go Medicated.

Thanks for the help guys! Will definitely look into all your suggestions. You guys really like the w9? Also here is what im using. For concentrates, when I'm not using my rig, I have a shitt y e-pen. I use the pen when I'm traveling, at work, pretty much any time I'm not home. I have a magic flight box vaporizer which I love, but it would also be really conveniant to be able to have a good pen for concentrates with the ability to switch it the attachment out for dry herb. You guys think I would be better off just sticking to a strictly concentrate pen?

Yes on W9!!
From the O-Phos, to the Persei, to their Kiss Carts, W9 has the best portables for concentrates, and absolute top notch customer service in an industry which, I'm glad to say, rocks some of the best CS.

"G" will get you going and make sure your needs are met.
You will be recommending him to newbies as well soon.
You will be inviting him over for Thanksgiving dinner soon.

Good luck with your choice!

I've never used a w9, but have plenty of experience with both ejmix setups and basic coil based pen setups.

My current goto is the divine tribe 2.5 on an eleaf 40w tc istick. This thing is awesome with wax/rosin. The price is great too ($55 full setup over at ineedhemp)---

Ok guys I think I've made my decision and am pretty sure I'm going to purchase the omnicron lite. You think this is a good choice?

I enjoy my Omicron 2 and KISS cart. Recently I got an eLeaf iStick 20W and a 601-510 thread adapter, I find the iStick battery to be far, far more convenient as I can now use the W9 carts with it as well as the more prevalent 510 threaded tanks and indulge in my THC juice as well :)

Another big win here is the microUSB port for charging and a batter meter, especially when traveling. Oftentimes I'd find myself getting frustrated with weaker and weaker vapor production on the Omicron before realizing that the battery needed to be changed/charged.

That said, all of W9's products that I've used have been of excellent quality and the same goes for all my interactions with their support staff.

Oh ok. Now I know what you're talking about. I'm not going to be vaping liquid with this. Only concentrates. I might just get the omnicron with 2 batteries so I can just always have an extra charged

The Omciron 2 came with two batteries and the charger, hopefully that's still the case with the current gen of Omicrons. The nomenclature and terms in this subculture of vaping can be horrifically confusing and overcomplicated for someone just starting to get involved, and it seems to get even more complicated if you try to swap or differentiate components.

Would a box mod be something that is worth buying just for the micro usb port?

No, sadly the omicrom does not come with an extra battery.
